I received a parking charge notice 2 weeks after our visit. Apparently there were signs in the car park, but I missed them (?). In any case this information isn't readily available in the ticket information page, the plan your visit page or the FAQs on the website. It wasn't shared in the email I received to confirm transaction nor was it mentioned by reception staff when we arrived. It is available in the T&C but that's not good enough. They could easily make it more transparent. They should make it more transparent because that's hidden additional charges. I wonder how many people miss the signs and end up having to pay parking charge notice. Customer service was not supportive. Basically staff couldn't care less. I should have seen the signs or read the T&C. They do have a duty to make charge transparent for customers but they can't be bothered. So unhappy

Treat the staff like absolute garbage my son worked for them briefly and they treated him like crap don't recommend working for them at all

Very concerned about lack of safety at this waterpark. During our 3 hr visit I didn't see any checking of heights or insistence of safety rules by the rides manned predominantly by teenagers. We witnessed a young child running across the top of a slide followed by the ride operator with the tube, presumably having fallen out of the tube, a woman came crawling up from the black hole as a child had just gone down (I presume the child was ok afterwards). She said something about getting stuck and went to get on an adjacent slide. I asked the very young operator what had been the problem and she replied that she thought she got stuck by her T-shirt. I had to point out the very clear warning about no T-shirts before she got stuck on the next slide. There were also people with cuts and children clearly too young in the rapids. I appreciate some of this is parental responsibility, but everywhere else I've been has had supervisors insisting on safety. Won't be rushing back.

Was not looking forward to going after reading the reviews but my son desperately wanted to go for his birthday and I’m so glad we did because we all had the best time. I didn’t think food was that expensive (£11.95 for a burger, chips and drink) we went on a Saturday and surprisingly it wasn’t that busy. The most we waited was 10 mins for anything. Changing rooms were clean. Loads of showers available. I honestly can’t fault it.

We had a super brilliant time at Waterworld. Absolutely loads of fun. Me, husband and 7yr old daughter. First visit and we will definitely be going back again. The rides were brilliant, staff friendly and food was nice. The lifeguard on Cyclone had to jump down the slide to rescue our daughter whose donut had got stuck. Daughter was totally fine, she found it funny. Lifeguard was on the ball and didn’t hesitate diving down the slide. Would highly recommend this place big time.
I’ve seen quite a bit of negative comments and honestly don’t think they’re justified. I was apprehensive about going after seeing these comments but so glad I didn’t let them put us off.
My only slight gripe would be the cafe service is quite slow, but no reason to avoid it at all.

Poor customer service

I think Waterworld gets a worse reputation than it deserves.

I have been to Waterworld throughout my childhood and the place has clearly improved leaps and bounds, with the addition of tornado alley as the most thrilling development (The dropslide is good). Also, the management of the flow of people seems more efficient and the customer service has visibly improved. As proven by consistent attendance, especially in the holiday season, there is a reason that people go - because it provides a genuinely fun day out, for children, families and also older folk!

More widely, it is a clean place, good changing facilities, good disabled access, very well staffed, organised and decent range of food options.

The only issue I ran into was on the 8th of June, I and the rest of the guests were evacuated from the facility as I think the chlorine levels were overcooked (in addition to people's eyes and throats). It wasn't too bad in all honesty, I was fine a few days after.

I got a 500kg of fish food. I gave him Rs.1000 and my bill was Rs.650. And then the person who were in the counter gave me only Rs.250 as a balance. But he got Rs.350 out of the cashier. Then he put Rs.100 into his pocket. ( 2023/04/11) ( around 4.00 pm )

Cold, overcrowded and dangerous. Life guards aren’t even watching. Massive queues for slides and freezing water temperatures. I was disgusted to see how dirty the water / facilities were and this was made worse by how many people were crammed into the space. Don’t waste your money.

Water very cold! Little children were trying to warm up in ,,hot tub,, and was not able to enjoy their time because it just too cold there. Won't be coming back, that's for sure.

- It doesn't seems a place where you can enjoy the time you are there... it's looks more like a train station on Tuesday morning
- l called the manager the day after l ve been there and he seems to be surprised of my experience. He apologized. But he wasn't able to explain why the day l was there the place was cold, overcrowded and unpleasant.

Oh my gosh never been so cold water was cold whole of the place was cold we was so cold only lasted for a hour an hour glad to get out think it was warmer outside then in absolutely miserable

Don't bother unless you want a parking ticket! oh and make sure you pay by card and get a receipt because you get penalised for paying CASH and the ticket machine not issuing a receipt. I followed all the rules and have been hit with a £60 parking fine for paying CASH!!

I will never visit or recommended this place. JOKE!!!

Not overly impressed.
Be warned about parking. When you pay for it, they don't register it and you end up getting a big fine from a company that sends letters out late and you miss the 14 day cheap alternative payment.
Waterworld don't care as its not their problem.
Nobody will help you and you either have or yourself or face bailiffs and possibly court.
Absolute poopshow of biblical proportions, avoid because its becoming very popular occurrence recently reading about it.

Went to Waterworld during August heatwave waited 45 minutes in the queue to get in, 15minutes before my booked time slot. Overcrowded inside managed to que for 3 slides in 3 hours waste of money and time. Really badly managed. Appreciate businesses need to recoup after covid but this place is not doing itself any favours.. Needless to say won't be going again.

A great place for quality family time.

Yes it needs some TLC in places BUT the main this is the joy it brings.

Not happy at all my son and friend went here today with me and the partner spectators. Sitting there my partners eyes were stinging to the point where they were watering we at to go sit outside it was that bad eventually Sitting outside my partners eyes got better. Anyway its 2:39am now and just got back from hospital with my 12 year old lad is breathing was not good at all hospital states theres been more people in hospital due to toxicity from Water world the chlorine they dump in the water is disgraceful and dangerous. They have kids working taking samples today of the water but nothing said, kids working run the water world its a joke. People are getting ill this is not right at all and the price we pay to get in is ridiculous and now we get ill too. Says it all Tuesday 5th December 2023 a year and 4 months later still no reply from this business not even a apology, says it all about customer service and care from the company

I am beyond shocked at the change in this place. I previously paid around £38 ish for a family ticket.. that price is now £82. My bar code wasn’t even checked or scanned on arrival and no wrist bands issued so feels very pointless. I was asked did I want a locker which obviously I do that’s £7.50 but we will give you £5 when you return the fob. I have never known a locker be £2.50 with a £7.50 upfront charge. The pool was ok and wasn’t overly busy so that was mainly why I gave 2 stars. Went to grab a bit of food on the poolside cafe.. queue was ridiculous took 20 mins to get served then I was told there was no drinks available from the tap I have to pay £3.05 for a small bottle of coke. I had 2 fries and 2 curly fries 2 cokes and it was nearly £21. The chips were just standard frozen chips in a cardboard packet. Also learnt that you now have to pay parking onsite as well now so that’s an additional £3.50 on to the bill. I cannot understand how I have paid over £100 to visit a swimming pool. I can’t see me ever returning here. I think the website should make the additional like the parking and excessive price of lockers clear when booking.

Spoilt by dirty facilities and security staff. Told us checking for food. Searched under 16s outside the venue without adult permission. The toilets were filthy and not seen a clean in weeks. Poorly run. Not worth the money.
