Great Products, Declining Customer Experience

I've been purchasing WelleCo's Super Elixir and Nourishing Protein for many years. The benefits are real — the greens deliver on their claims, and the protein is easily the cleanest on the market. It’s a genuinely excellent combo to start the day.

However, I've recently noticed a sharp decline in customer service. Replies to emails regarding late fulfilment arrive overnight, and live chat is generally unattended during business hours (AEST), suggesting support has been outsourced — likely a cost-cutting measure that comes at the expense of customer experience.

They've also replaced their rewards program with a two-tier system offering either:

A paid membership ($79/year), or
A subscription model.
There are now no rewards for one-off purchases — only for ongoing spend, which feels exclusionary and unappreciative.

In addition, their email marketing has always been relentless and nothing has changed. Daily post-purchase follow-ups, offers, and reminders clutter the inbox. It cheapens the brand and feels out of step with the wellness ethos they promote.

Collectively, this all points to a strategy focused on increasing profit while reducing value and service for loyal customers.

It’s a real shame — I truly believe in the quality of WelleCo’s products. But like many growing businesses, they seem to be prioritising expansion over customer care.

Tried the Super Elixir and the Evening…

Tried the Super Elixir and the Evening Elixir
The super elixir I’m in my first month so I am still waiting and hoping for improvements to skin, gut etc. so far nothing and I’m at week 3
Evening Elixir I had to stop taking. Gave me awful diarrhoea, I assume due to the high quantity of magnesium
Both products combined cost over $120 so they are not cheap. So far I’m not impressed at all

Great tasting product

So grateful for a Greens product that is easy on the taste buds (blood orange) that enables me to take it every morning as well as sell it in Chemist Warehouse. I travel full time therefore unable to get the cheaper product on subscription. Easy compromise to pay top dollar for easy access. I have never stuck to a greens product until now - the ease of taste is critical as much as how it makes me feel. (particularly digestive) Daily now for 4 months and I wouldn't be without it. A waste of money. Do not subscribe to this

Product is fine. Used it for 2 weeks but it gave me a stomach ache. Decreased dose but still gave me diarrhea. I tried to cancel the second shipment before it was sent out but they sent it and charged me for it anyway. Cancelling the subscription was not straight forward and they don't make this an easy process. I shouldn't have to click 'cancel subscription' 6 times before confirming the cancellation. Surprised they get away with this. I feel incredibly ripped off by WelleCo.

I am sorry to hear that you experienced digestive discomfort whilst taking The Super Elixir.

The Super Elixir does contain ingredients that moderate digestion and support overall gut health. For example, fructooligo-saccharides (FOS), has been included in the formulation for its prebiotic properties, meaning that it helps to feed the beneficial bacteria in our digestive system. However, FOS does have the potential to cause digestive symptoms such as bloating and gas in some individuals, particularly when first starting to consume, while your body adjusts to the supplement.

We understand that wellness looks different to everyone and that this blend may not be suitable for you.
We would love to offer you a refund and alternative product if you wished. If you could share some further information with us we would love to help make further arrangements for you.

In regards to our subscription management page, we are sorry to hear you had trouble cancelling your subscription. Our Digital Team have been notified and are investigating the issue. We do however appreciate you opportunity you have given us to resolve this.

Not a fan

I subscribed for 2 months then cancelled it. I I’ve tried 2 flavors- pineapple lime & berries. Taste like shit! It was hard too swallow because of the taste. After drinking it I usually eat something sweet to beat the taste. And it’s too expensive, never noticed glowing change on me. I’m trying my best to finish the 2nd bottle that I ordered. Not a fan. Sorry

The Super Elixir is a greens powder, with Barley Grass and Wheat Grass as one of the primary ingredients within the formulation, so therefore will have an underlying earthy taste.

Whilst we have customer's who definitely drink The Super Elixir on it's own or we recommend to also put into smoothies alongside Frozen Fruit, Vegetables and the Nourishing Protein.

We would love to send you an alternative flavour or product that may be a better fit for your routine. If you could share your previous order number our team will reach out with some more information.

I absolutely love the products

I absolutely love the products! I’ve been using the green powder and skin elixir for several months and have noticed great results. I also tried the Goddess formula, but it wasn’t the right fit for me personally. Anytime I’ve had an issue with a product or service, their customer support has been fantastic—responding within three days and usually resolving things in my favor. I appreciate the seamless experience, especially knowing they’re based in Australia but ship quickly from NYC. Highly recommend!

Bad customer service and delivery

Good products, but customer service and delivery incredible bad. I ordered products on Monday, but no products received yet, also nothing shipped yet. And customer service does not react on questions I asked already more than 48 hours ago.

The products are wonderfull, really made a big difference to my wellbeing

I have been using the Evening Elixir , Super Elixir and the collagen . I have noticed a change in my skin, softer, smoother. My sleep has improved since using the evening elixir . All the products taste wonderful. I have had a really good experience with their customer service, I found them very helpful and understanding. When they made a mistake and doubled up my order , they quickly refunded me and also sent along the extra items at no cost. So overall I'd recommend, very happy!

Formulated by a "Dr" with no qualifications by a recognised educational institution

This product is falsely advertised as being formulated by a Dr with a PhD in Clinical Nutrition and Naturopathy. ABC's 7.30 Report has revealed that the woman claiming to hold these qualifications (Simone Laubscher) is a sham.

When I contacted WelleCo demanding a refund and raising my concerns over the safety of their product (as its formulated by someone with no qualification to do so) I was ignored. They cancelled my subscription but did not refund my money nor answer my questions.

Do not purchase from this company! Do your research and watch the ABC 7.30 Report on Simone Laubscher & Elle McPherson.

Ms Laubscher is a consultant to the WelleCo business and through her association with Elle Macpherson did formulate the original iteration of The Super Elixir.

Here at WelleCo we have a product development team made up of scientists, nutritionists, naturopaths and world class manufacturing partners who are responsible for the creation, formulation and execution of all WelleCo Products.

We ensure all our products comply with local regulatory requirements,are produced in food and Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approved manufacturing facilities and undergo comprehensive testing.

The Super Elixir formulation has since been optimised in line with emerging science and to meet the ever changing and rigorous regulatory landscape and is far advanced from the original version.

Wonderful product

Wonderful product. Ordered pineapple flavour first, which I had to get used to, but the blood orange is much nicer (for me ;-) )

Stay away from this website!!!. There is absolutely NO customer service. I ordered the super Elixir to be delivered every 2 months, with payment automatically being deducted. I now want to stop the automatic payment and cannot get hold of anyone in customer service, they have online support which nobody is there to respond to your request. They say they will get back to you in 24-48 hours, which they never did. I cant ring anyone? You cant login to your account without a code, and the code is sent to your email and phone - NEITHER works! so you try emailing them and get No response. STAY AWAY. I am now resorting to going to the bank to stop the automatic payment..... NOT IMPRESSED

I immediately wanted to cancel my order…

I immediately wanted to cancel my order as soon as i purchased. Literally seconds after buying, i sent an email requesting a cancellation. I received nothing but an auto reply. The product arrived and it remained unopened on my counter since the purchase. I finally opened it today, thinking I’d give it a try. Big mistake. First, for $85 they can’t even include a scoop. That just adds to the horrible customer service. Second, the product tastes like a**. Third, I have sent 3 emails AND searched for a place on their website to leave a review and I couldn’t find anywhere to leave a review. Still, no human has gotten back to me. As soon as they have your money, you may as well disappear, because they aren’t going to bother with ANY customer service.

wellness solutions to address... mental disorders?

They make sure to include:

"*These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product does not intend to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease."

On the product pages, but why? you may ask. What statements are they making that they would even need this disclaimer? you may wonder. Well, first of all, that these products are going to support you in your mental wellbeing -- including going as far as to further specify that they "address" Anxiety!

They are not able to deliver products

They are not able to deliver products, they got a payment, but don't ship the order even after a week, even after two. Customer service don't reply and so cannot help. Actually, there is no answer what to do, you cannot cancel an order, cannot get it. In other words-no goods, no money. Very disappointed.

I ordered 06/11 and still I have not…

I ordered 06/11 and still I have not received anything. Then I send an email on Friday 13/11 and I didt not receive a reply until Monday. Then they write that they want to find out where my package is and return today and I still have not heard from them. This is the first and last time I shop at this company .. In the future I will just order my vitamin supplement from athletic greens, they respond immediately when you write to them, plus their package arrive within 3-4 and it will also be sent from England. Could I give you 0 star had you got it ...
