Complete Con , Stay Away
Complete con, site implies Wendy Clarke is a jeweller used to making/selling gem set pieces in her own shop, closing due to retirement. (even having the nerve to ask for a tip for her retirement!!!! )
ALL you get is cheap plastic and low grade metal from China.
Didn’t even bother to take any of it out of little plastic packets . I was told that I would have to return to their supplier in CHINA with totally exaggerated rates of postage and insurance, combined anywhere between 80 to 100 Euros, yet for custom declaration told to value at 10 US Dollars max !!
Just a total Con ! First time in years of shopping on line from “ small independent traders “” will be last, which is a real shame for all the honest traders online
Scam. Plastic tat you can find for £2 on Temu
Scam website claiming to be a small business in the UK. In reality it's cheap plastic tat from China, check the name of the item you're going to buy on Google, I found mine was being sold for £2 on Temu and amazon. They tried to deny a refund, and will then offer you a partial refund stating the costs to ship back to China means you'd be paying rather than getting a refund, keep going emailing them, inconvenience the scammers as much as possible. I did a chargeback with my bank and got my money back after showing all the proof of their refusals and fake claims on the website. Avoid!
This is a complete SCAM
This is a complete SCAM! I have reported it to the Fraud Office(Police). It may save someone being caught. The items are not as shown in the photographs. What actually arrives is a collection of plastic rubbish, not a single piece of real jewellery.
And despite all the blurb, there are no means of gaining a refund nor of returning the goods.
Incidentally, there is another "retirement activity" using the same pretty pictures but a different model with blonde hair and a different name (Jennifer-----) but peddling the same story and the same rubbish.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PERSON - FRAUDSTER
I bought from this person, for the first time, four items. There was a delay in sending them to me and when I enquired what was happening I was offered numerous excuses. When I said that I didn't want them and wished for a refund, then I got the whole who ha about having to send the items back to China!
When the items arrived they had come from China using Amazon as their carrier. After several back and forth emails I involved the Police, alternatively visit your bank and ask them to arrange to do a claw back from this women's bank account. I had to write a statement of fact, giving all details of my transaction. The Bank kindly refunded my money, not much £55. 00 but I was determined she would not get away with her underhand practices.
Terrible company
Very poor I had a bracelet sent to me which would only fit a child I contacted the company who told me to keep it I asked for a refund or another bracelet so I could make it bigger they are totally ignoring me now and refusing to sort out this problem
Do NOT purchase
This website impersonates a real person, a UK-based jewellery designer by the name Wendy Clark. Under the pretence of closing down her business, the website is selling Chinese junk as real jewellery. It does not match the website either. Do not make the mistake of purchasing anything from this website. They pretend they will return and refund, but they do not.
Don’t use Wendy Clarke
Total con wish I had read reviews first handmade jewellery definately not cheap looking and one item broken hassle free returns not apparently I didn’t return to the correct address so can’t have a refund
Absolute scammers
Absolute scammers. The jewellery is NOTHING like what is advertised and when you ask for a refund, they tell you that you need to pay 50-70 euros to return it to their warehouse in Asia and an additional 30-40 euros in customs. They do not acknowledge that it is faulty, even when I sent photos of the item as requested, or address your concerns when you are unhappy about the quality. You just keep getting standardised responses saying well you got the correct item, if you want a refund you need to send it back. They just keep asking you what is the problem and then ignoring you when you tell them by saying you need to return it.
ABSOLUTE RUBBISH !!! THIS IS NOT GENUINE JEWELLERY .
Ashamed to say I fell for this advert , which showed beautiful jewellery - the photographs must have been lifted from a genuine website .
The items I received are made of PLASTIC and look like something one would buy for a childrens dressing up box !
Packed in perspex bags and weigh almost nothing .
As soon as I felt the weight , I realised I had been scammed .
I paid over £50 to receive this absolute TAT !
I contacted the " Jeweller " and requested a refund ; and explained that I was disgusted with the items they sent , only to receive a pre- written , immediate reply asking me to send photographs of the " faulty / damaged " items - so they can quickly " sort the issue "
This is clearly not going to happen .
Unfortunately , I am unable to post a photograph on here but if it was possible , I would .
The awfulness of these " pieces " has to be seen to be believed !
My only recourse will be to contact my card provider and request their help to recover my money .

DO NOT USE WENDY CLARKE!
If I could give negative stars I would. The photos on the website are not at all what you will receive. The necklace and earrings I bought looked like they wouldn't even be worthy of being in a Christmas cracker. Cheap plastic crap that I will be binning thanks the customer service being terrible. She ignored every word I was saying in my emails of complaint and finally offered 25% refund. Whether I get that or not we shall see.
Scam
Different names n different photos.A absolutely 💯 scam.Made in China n absolute tat!
DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP AND NASTY TAT
DO NOT BUY THIS CHEAP AND NASTY TAT, IT IS NOT FROM WENDY IN SCOTLAND, IT IS CHINA. I HAVE AN EXCHANGE OF EMAILS TELLING ME WHERE TO SEND THE GOODS BACK TO, IN CHINA, AT MY OWN EXPENSE FOR GOODS THAT ARE NOT AS ADVERTISED. BE WARNED THAT THE ONLY WAY YOUR BANK CAN HELP IS WHEN YOU HAVE RETURNED THEM AND 'WENDY' DOESN'T REFUND YOUR MONEY. THE BANK CANNOT HELP WITH RETURN POSTAGE FEES AS THIS IS AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE AND THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE TO REFUND THIS.
Wendy Clarke website and the cheap Asian products you receive
What can I say about Wendy Clarke, this old lady about to retire and close down that beautiful shop?
The website is just a new Asian tactic to manipulate customers into thinking that the fantastic, high-quality, handmade jewellery items are being highly discounted because the owner is going to retire and the fabulous shop (they don't tell you where this shop is) is closing down.
In fact, the shop never existed, Wendy is probably a paid model named "Samantha", the items are not handmade, or high quality jelwery pieces.
Surprise, surprise, the items this website sells are very cheap products that you would not give to your worst enemy.
Wendy Clarke posts the items from somewhere in Asia, but you do not know from where (they don't even write it down on the bubble-wrapped envelope you receive with each piece wrapped in zip-lock bags instead of boxes, and there is no information on the website).
Out of curiosity, I checked AliExpress and found that all the items I bought from Wendy are available and identical, and AliExpress sells them cheaper!
Of course, when you contact Wendy Clarke to ask where to return the items, they email you back explaining:
"I understand that you are considering a return, but before you decide, I want to be completely transparent about the process — especially regarding the costs and challenges of international returns.
Our return warehouse is located in Asia, and due to international shipping and customs regulations, the return shipping costs are usually between 50 and 70 EUR just for postage. Customs handling can add an additional 30 to 50 EUR, depending on the package’s weight. In many cases, the total cost ends up being higher than the amount you would get refunded.
Additionally, returns to Asia can take a very long time to arrive, with risks of delays or even loss during transit. As the sender, you are responsible for a successful return shipment. Unfortunately, I cannot take responsibility for packages that do not reach our warehouse.
To save you time, money, and effort, I’d like to offer you a better alternative:
✅ Keep the item and receive a 10% refund as a token of appreciation.
✅ If there is something wrong with the product, I will send a replacement free of charge. You don’t need to send anything back — a clear photo or video will suffice.
Most of our customers find this the easiest and most cost-effective solution, avoiding unnecessary expenses while still getting a good outcome. Please let me know your preference — I’m happy to work with you on this!"
It looks like a cheap attempt to discourage you so they do not have to refund you at all.
I do not give feedback, but I think you should know what you are getting into with this company.
Steer Clear of Wendy Clarke
First of all this started with a story of 'I am about to retire and need to shift my bespoke jewellery which is hand made in Scotland'. Total lies. The jewellery is 'junk' cosmetic and sent from China! Payment goes to an account named Beckermode and shipping is through Yun Express with the final home delivery by Amazon Shipping. The company advertise 'hassle-free returns', not true and 'expert craftmanship', again not true. Was told will get a refund of item plus shipping insurance and keep the item, not true, no refund for item received, another lie. This should not be confused with a similar website which is without the E in the surname.
I ordered two items without checking…
I ordered two items without checking TrustPilot reviews. This was a terrible mistake. 6 weeks later, the tracking assistance was marked as expired. I have asked for a refund but only received a standard apology letter, same letter twice, so far. To add insult to injury, I have today been offered a further discount if I order another product. I will chalk it up to experience as I have no expectation of a resolution or refund.
Absolutely disgusted
Absolutely disgusted, this is cheap tack £24 not a penny refund promised 30% but got nothing. Please please don't but mine was damaged and cannot do anything with it would not even give it to charity £24 given away that's false advertising, they should be made to refund everyone in full😡😡😡😡 we learn by our mistakes
Unbelievable
As with all other reviews, absolute disgust. Of course should have checked with Trustpilot but didn't and received cheap tacky, rubbish. Horrible.
What a scam!
Just received my ‘lovely’ jewellery! Absolute rubbish! The ‘glass’ is plastic, glue marks on the ‘stones’ and the chain was not gold😡Well and truly scammed!! Please do not purchase anything! Wish I could give no stars!!
The seller should be honest
The seller should be honest, helpful and constructive.
What a con. Can whoever is trading be fined as the items are not fit for purpose. I cannot get the necklace over my head. Just cheap Asian tat. Surely there should be facilities in U.K. to return the items. Then again, this is not a legit company.
cheap rubbish
cheap rubbish. hopefully learn by your mistakes.
