Brilliant dental work and great care raken

Very knowledgeable team. Friendly and decent pricing.

Dr Khamar has been making top and bottom plates. He is meticulous in getting the fittings right.
Dr Khamar explains the options very clearly and with patience and answers all my questions. His approach gives me confidence. He is also dealing with my bone medication that can cause complications with dental work.
His dental nurse is excellent too, friendly and cheerful and works well with Dr Khamar.
Everyone in the practice is friendly and very helpful, dealing with my mobility issues.
Dental costs are a major concern to most ordinary people, particularly old pensioners like my wife and I. The government's policy is to do nothing about reversing the decline in NHS dentistry, and funding the best treatments for all. This is not a political statement, most pensioners truly find it hard to fund long treatment plans and many are much worse off than we are.

Dentist, nurses and staff always pleasant and helpful. All the treatment I’ve had has been effective and successful, with all procedures explained fully. Very happy with the service.

Highly recommended - receptionist, dental nurse and dentist were all friendly, reassuring (and kind - to a very nervous patient!). Dental procedure carried out extremely professionally, explaining what was happening at each stage - and great after care advice given.

No matter how bad your dental problem is it will be efficiently and professionally dealt with by Samil kahmar. After 60 years of dental work this is the best I have encountered.

Very friendly staff and very accommodating as I suffer with Vertigo , only thing I mis is the little shop they had for buying my dental flossing brushes ,it was very handy to have at the dentist ,hope they bring it back

I saw Dr. Saumil yesterday for my first assessment and a filling, after damaging my tooth on the weekend.

I was anxious after not seeing a dentist for around ten months. At my first assessment, he immediately put me at ease, conducted some x-rays, and explained to me the issues I had with each individual tooth. He was incredibly friendly, didn’t judge me, or make me feel bad or ashamed about the condition of my teeth - and instead provided positive and useful information. I felt comfortable asking him questions about my teeth and dental care and left feeling educated. Dr. Saumil advised that I would need a filling to repair the damaged tooth. He also made me aware of the possibilities of root canal treatment or a crown, if the filling would not suffice to repair the damage.

I went to the reception to speak to Shannon and Rebecca, who were both lovely, and they were able to book me in for the filling a few hours later. This made me very happy as my damaged tooth was a major concern to me. They were both very friendly, informative, and happy to help.

I returned to the practice later on for the filling, again provided by Dr. Saumil. I tend to be a nervous patient, after having so many dental procedures in the past (6 extractions, 2 rounds of orthodontics, and I’ve lost count of fillings - approx. 20!). Past procedures at a different practice have been painful and somewhat traumatic on occasion.

Dr. Saumil understood, and when I asked for him to count down from three before administering the local anaesthetic he was happy to oblige. We then went for a scan in the room downstairs, where I had a good chat with his lovely assistant, Erin, who also made me feel at ease. Diolch Erin. :)

Throughout the procedure, Dr. Saumil spoke to me, ensuring that I was fully informed about what he was doing at each stage. He was very careful and I didn’t feel any pain whatsoever - I’m pretty sure I might have dozed off at some point! The filling itself only took around 20 minutes in total, which was amazing. Erin also did a wonderful job of making sure I was comfortable throughout. Dr. Saumil also informed me about eating and drinking afterwards and aftercare.

The best part - after leaving the practice I immediately had to drive to Bangor to pick up my partner from work and was in a bit of a rush as it was raining, so I didn’t have time to look at my newly repaired tooth. He actually had a look before I did, and told me that it was white! This doesn’t seem like a big deal, but for a 25 year old female, with black amalgam fillings in every tooth (except front ones) since the age of 12/13, this was huge. It’s restored that little bit of confidence in me - as not all of my teeth look horrible anymore, I’ve got one really pretty one now, and however small, it does make a difference :)

Dr. Saumil advised that I should see how it feels in two weeks time, which I will. However, I’m just so pleased with my experience and my lovely white tooth and I’m ever so grateful.
