After ordering 24 eggs on the middle of august and been told I was on a 3 weeks waiting list , on the 5th week I wrote to them, to be told my eggs would have been send out that week, same after 6weeks, I finally received my eggs after 7weeks.
They were very poorly packed. Somehow I was expecting better then eggs wrapped in blue paper and boxed in flimsy plastic egg boxes.
I received 30 , 8 broken, since it was October already I decided to put them in the incubator anyway.
Only 2 hatched and 4 eggs stopped developing at some point in the incubation,16 eggs were not fertilised.
After reporting to them , they have just been able to blame my incubation set up without I single explanation on how the eggs were not fertilised....
In some way I was hoping a better overall service from professionals.

I raise quail for meat for years and I hatch every 2 weeks with 95% or over hatch rate from February to September with this very same set up

I ordered a couple of bags of starter crumb and mini pellets. I ended up running out quicker than I thought so messaged to explain the urgency and received my order two days later. Great customer service and prompt delivery.

Would highly recommend this shop! Hatching eggs are top quality, arrive very well packaged to avoid any breakages and always arrive with extras!

Started our quail journey this year and purchased a selection of eggs from WestYorkshireQuail. These have been so unproblematic, such a joy to look after. They are beautiful and healthy birds, with a good hatch rate. Ours have already started laying, so we have ordered some more eggs from Marie to incubate together with those.
On both occasions, all eggs arrived in perfect condition.
Her communication is fast and friendly, the information provided allows for a stress free experience.
I am very excited to see how these little beauties look!
The only problem is that my partner is having to get very DIY every weekend..they currently live in a quail mansion 😂

I had a little bit of a wait though this was clearly communicated on the site before ordering. When I had a query about the order I got a nice response quickly. The eggs arrived well packaged although there were signs they'd had a rough trip in the mail (outside of the vendor's control once it's in the hands of royal mail). The birds that hatched are thriving black coturnix quail with a noticeably calmer and friendlier temperament than birds I hatched from eggs I'd ordered from another site despite raising them at the same time together.

They provided very clear and detailed instructions via email with the order and also in box with the eggs. They are responsive to questions and I love seeing updates on their Facebook page. It's what I would expect from someone who cares about quality, their animals and the chicks their eggs produce.

I liked them so much I've already ordered more this time I'm going for jumbo quail so I can have some of the bigger eggs too as well as these cuties running around.

I just need to figure out how to explain to the husband why he needs to build a second enclosure so soon.

I have ordered from West Yorkshire Quails multiple times over the years and always had a good hatch rate, my most recent hatch was from her new progressive pied line these guys are very calm thats what I love about their birds.
Marie goes above and beyond to help you, she sends out Information with her orders to make life a little easier. She has recently been helping me out with some genetic queries I had with a colour im working on at the moment.
If you are looking for a good hatch rate and support too then I definitely recommend west yorkshire quails.

So, I ordered 18 black courturnix quail eggs and 12 super jumbo quail eggs on 19th June, costing me £103.97.
On the 10th of August I sent an email to the owner asking for an estimate as to when my eggs would be arriving. I was told they were coming out that week. They didn't arrive.
On September 1st I sent a second email asking for a revised time of arrival. This time I was told they would be sent next week and she would throw in some extra eggs by way of an apology.
They didn't arrive.... again.

48 eggs finally arrived along with a cheap looking keyring on 21st September. They weren't the ones id asked for but i agreed to take progressive pied instead of black, as i thought something was better than nothing at this point. 3 were cracked in transit, but this was because those 3 eggs were particularly large and not suitably packed ie. They were put into regular sized quail boxes which were not large enough to accommodate the eggs without damaging them.
Fast forward 21 days, having set the eggs after resting for 18 hours. I've got 11 chicks. 7 didn't make it to hatch ( not the fault of the owner obviously), however most ofthe rest weren't even fertile.
30 infertile eggs out of 48!

Seriously poor quality, poor customer service. Avoid this company and don't waste your money!

Really happy with my two Bobwhite quails! Both are healthy, in great condition and clearly well cared for. 100% recommend and would definitely buy from again 😊

Ordered some Bobwhite snowflakes from westyorkshirequail.com. They came promptly, well packaged. Out of the 9 I had 6 which were fertile, I thought was amazing and 4 hatched. I have since been in contact with them to help me sex the birds. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely use again when the time comes to get some more. Love my snowflakes.

Ordered a dozen eggs which were packed brilliantly. When they arrived I had been sent a couple of extras which meant when I incubated them I still got 12/ 15 hatching which I was really pleased with!

West Yorkshire quails has been excellent! I’ve bough many hatching eggs from here, always packaged really well. Sometimes even extra eggs ! I’ve also bough a large amount of eggs to and I’ve always been really happy with the service. I have also asked a lot of questions multiple times and they have always been answered well and I’ve never been felt bad for asking multiple questions. Would highly recommend to anyone to use west Yorkshire quails, I wouldn’t use anyone else ! I am sure to buy more from her!

Very knowledgeable - my serama chicken eggs arrived quickly and in perfect condition!! Had an amazing hatch rate both times I ordered and 7 out of 8 chicks ended up being Hens! They’re beautiful and have the best temperaments ☺️

I collected some beautiful progressive pied quail. They where all healthy and very well cared for and the lady give me so much advice and answered all my questions. My quail are all happily laying and I have hatched out some babies from them! Thank you so much, I will definitely be back ❤️

The communication with them has always been quickly responded to
My hatch rate is great seeing they've travelled 300 odd miles next time I hopefully plan to collect some eggs/chocks from them

I have bought hatching eggs from West Yorkshire quails for years. Would totally recommend, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Always well packaged and presented well and always get extra eggs just incase of breakages. But most importantly to me is the health and temperament of her birds. They are fantastic birds, always strong chicks and so calm and easy to handle when reach adult hood. Which is very important to me having good temperaments.

Bought eggs twice now, both times they came well packed and incredibly fast (early next day) and always had a good variation of chicks from them, also adopted a very handsome pied boy that came from their lines and he's an absolute star! Temper meant is amazing and he's a complete softie with the girls 🥹

All my quails are happy and healthy and really enjoying being a first time quail hatching mommy

I’m just in the process of getting more enclosures so I can order more hatching eggs and expand my collect as West Yorkshire Quail have such a large variety to choose from it’s hard not to get addictive to buying more
