Regardless of which arm of their business you use, there seems to be a general problem with them listening when you make a simple request based on allergies. Several of their "Brewers Fayre" restaurants have served food with the offending item in there, but then taken them back and cooked a fresh meal, so props for that, but really, how many times do you have to tell the servers at their Victoria Park restaurant in Ebbw Vale before they get it right? (3 times in a minute, and it STILL wasn't listened to).

Worse still - their "Table Table" restaurant, otherwise known as The Ashbridge in Cwmbran - who not only ignored the request, but then removed the item, leaving traces of it all over the meal. If it wasn't for my habit of checking because of their blatant disregard for customer health, I could have consumed the food, and wound up in hospital within a few hours. Even better, after posting a comment on Tripadvisor, I was then verbally abused by the general manager, and told that I wasn't clear enough about the allergy when I spoke to the server, despite using the words "allergic", and "severely".

I think a mass retraining of your staff is required.

Very poor service , we had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks on this visit. On our previous visit, my partners birthday, we had starters before drinks.
Apparently lack of staff was the cause on BOTH occasions ....
If Friday/Saturday are your busy days, then get more staff in or recruit...
The table across from us got so fed up with waiting for their drinks , the chap went and got them himself....
Rubbish WHITBREAD, a Company like yourselves should do a lot better, Customer service, whats that in TABLE TABLE...

We went to the Brickfields Table Table and would never go again to any Table Table. We used to love it but the size of portions have shrunk so far you need a magnifying glass to find them. The Assistant manager was helpful but said all portions are set by Whitbread and although they have raised this there has been no response. Our Friends lamb was 12.99 and the whole thing was so tiny he had finished before we had finished our far from large meals. DDO NOT GO TO TABLE TABLE IF YOU WANT VALUE FOR MONEY

I had a really bad visit at the CEPEN PARK CHIPPENHAM. The staff are rude. We visited on mothers day we were early for our table. We were then told we had to be out by 6 (our table was booked for 4), When asked we might not be done at 6pm, we were told BELIEVE ME YOU WILL BE!!!!. The guy in the kids play bit was just as rude. It took 3 weeks to get a response by email, other emails have been sent and every time the manager RHYS takes about 3 weeks to respond the last one I sent on the 1st May and shocking still waiting to hear about my refund. The service is awful the staff are worse and the food was not up to normal whitbread standards DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Over the weekend we ate as a family at The Colliers in Rugeley. The food for the children and grandchildren was outstanding, a choice of a main and 2 sides for just £3.99!!! All of the food was fresh, well presented and 'eaten' along with the deserts. Whilst the food was particularly good for children the adults food was also more than acceptable, very good value and far better than we had hoped. We're not pub chain people but we would definitely visit here again. Very modern, clean, loads of room and the staff that served us were just so friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

I emailed Whitbread customer services twice now and they have not got the good manners to reply, how do they expect their restaurants to give good service when they cant be bothered themselves, really rude and disappointing, so if you have a complaint don't bother with them, they obviously don't give a dam about customer satisfaction

This is a case of doing what it says on the tin.
The hotel side is basic but the essentials are provided and the comfortable beds do provide a good night's sleep. So, if you are looking for a stopover somewhere and a Premier Inn can be found nearby then this is a good place to try. My one caveat concerns the availability of a Beefeater.

Beefeaters are a very reliable restaurants where you know in advance what to expect. When the menu changes it does so nationwide. My preference when looking for a Premier Inn is always to find one with an adjoining Beefeater. If there is no Beefeater then I'll look for another hotel.

Premier Inns come with a variety of resaturants, none of which can match the menu, style and ambience of a Beefeater. What is more, if you ever feel that your meal is not up to standard they will replace it. And who can resist those wonderful grilled meals? This is not Michelin star stuff but neither is it Michelin star prices. Beefeaters provide a good meal at a good price. Value for money. If only they had one next to every Premier Inn.

Recentely I went to my local pub which is a table table from whitbread. The menu was good however some dishes seems to be microwave meals (Spinach and Ricotta cannelonni, mussels on white wine sauce).
The salads (Sticky chicken goujons salad) are dressed only for decoration pourposes and the same with the sauces to accompany the desserts (profiterols with chocolate sauce).
Some of the waiters/ress are unexperience and the waiting time is sometimes a bit on the long side.
However they also have good days where meals are impecable.
