My vulnerable elderly Father in Law was duped by this company into thinking he was buying gold plated ‘coins’ that were worth a fortune. We told him to stop buying them but they continually sent out more releases to entice him. Since his passing we have inherited piles of worthless junk that he spent thousands of pounds on. Who wants giant coins with pictures of Princess Diana and the Late Queen enhanced with gems my 9 year old has grown out of. They’re not even good quality, especially the cardboard display cases which are blurred they’re so badly printed. Price for case alone £19.95. It’s infuriating and they’re exploiting vulnerable old people.

Complete scam, target the eldery

What a scam of a company!! Bombarding you with junk Mail telling you how’ as a valued customer they will give you £000’s off as a special offer. The real fact is, what they sell is worth exactly what you pay. Check eBay out, full of people selling these ‘coins’ for less than they actually paid initially!!

TOTAL SCAM COMPANY and you cannot get through to Customer Services (if they actually exist anyway)

Discovered my 95 year old mum had been paying these ######## over £120 a month for ages. When she went into hospital after a fall, her mail mounted up, and I discovered they were sending her unsolicited coins, that look like they are worth about 20p, and then adding their £90 charge to her bill. There were numerous threatening letters, suggesting they would pass her account to debt collectors. I phoned them and they refused to deal with me unless I emailed them a Power if Attorney. Reader, I did shout. The sales clerk said - you’re shouting at me - like it was a legitimate business, and I was a bit reprehensible. Please be wary for your elderly folk. These people are the pits.

I’ve got 12 x 14carat real gold (not plated) .016 oz coins, I bought in about 2009/10. I love them, I never got harassed or sent anything I didn’t want but I did get offers and I enjoyed perusing the offers. They are lovely little coins and a limited edition. I bought them after reading everything about them. They all came with a certificate of authenticity and a serial number including a history description. They are in a lovely wooden box I purchased from Windsor mint too. Windsor Mint have been a pleasure to deal with.

Please don't get scammed. The coins you buy are not worth the price you pay. I brought from three different organisations London Mint, Westminster and these. Please avoid them like the plague. Leave your money in the bank that a true investment. I spent more than I could ever get back. The coins I brought was for the future of nephews and nieces when I die. I have left them a load of junk. These should be called out by the government. And closed down.

Bombarding my Dad who is battling cancer with naff coins and demands for money, have asked for him to be removed from the mailing list but this has been ignored. These people are scammers praying on the older generation. Please avoid at all costs! Why they haven’t been shut down is beyond me. My Dad ordered 1 coin set and has been billed £200 so far!

Avoid at all costs. Disgusting company that harass and financially abuse the elderly. Despite cancelling they keep sending coins to my Stepfather who has dementia and demanding payment!

Very strange that a coin would be minted with the king on the front face minted on a republican coin. Senegal us in a republic.. Very odd.

Ordered a couple of their gold coins and am now being bombarded with junk mail inviting me to their buy over priced sets. They've also used my credit card details to charge me £129.95 for something I didn't order, don't want and can't afford!

So, I got the platinum jubilee set from here and was content with it, no issues so far.

Then I saw online the bad reviews so I told them to send nothing in post - reason being it’s waste of paper and I only buy what I want not what I see.
It’s been a year maybe? I’m still seeing these letters and so much paper just wasted and into the bin without value.

After reading all these comments, I’m gonna steer away myself. While the first experience was good, the non stop mails is driving me nuts! If I get flooded any more, I’m selling this collection and tempted to moving houses…

Piece of cardboard advertised as a coin please avoid

I don't know what people are expecting but the coin I received for £29.95 was nice and in a lovely box. Weighs 0.5g and is 24ct gold NOT layered with 24ct gold which just means plated! My coin is very thin but what do you expect for 29 quid!! Its scrap value is not much less than I paid and I have sent the reply to say don't send any more. If they charge my card I'll be straight on online banking to report the fraud. So far I'm happy with the service and the product I received. If they hassle then I'll do another review but what are you expecting to give these terrible reviews?? They clearly say layered with 24ct on most collections so they are not precious metal!! You have to read the small print. Not fair to hassle the elderly but you can ignore their letters. I think it's unfair to slag off the coin for being thin when it is so cheap and is gold so what did you expect? I am happy and satisfied so far. I will update if they try to take more money or tie me in but I sent their form back with the line crossed out saying they could send one a month so if they do then it'll be the bank who have to deal with it as a fraud. So far so good tho.

Shocking. Got my Coronation "coin" today. It's basically a bit of cardboard. Absolute scam.

Loads of lies for what they sell. DON'T buy from them. They say its a coin, but in reality, it's just a thin peice of paper

We - accidentally - ordered the Charles III ring BEFORE I had read the reviews. I immediately cancelled (within minutes) but, guess what, it had shipped before the ink was dry on my order!!! I wrote them a stinking email and, give them their due, they actually returned the payment pretty quickly. Did I get away with it because I would not stand for scammers like these? The elderly and dementia sufferers do not stand a chance. This company should be banned from trading in this country and go back to Belgium or Germany - or where ever they hail from -though I doubt they would put up with them. DISGUSTING. Whatever are the ASA doing about this????

I requested to this company back In October 2022 that I no longer wish to purchase any future offers. I asked them over the phone, letter and email to take me off their mailing list. They told me that could take up to 6-8 weeks. They finally did stop but got home today and found more communication of special offers. I am absolutely astonished how this company have the nerve to ignore my request and disrespect my wishes. PLEASE PEOPLE BE WARNED WHEN DEALING WITH WINDSOR MINT. ONCE YOU ORDER ANTHING FROM THEM THEY WILL SEND YOU EVERY MONTH A COIN AND REQUEST PAYMENT. ITEMS CAN BE RETURNED IF YOU DO NOT WANT THEM BUT IF YOU ARE LIKE ME JUST WANT A ONE TIME OFFER THIS IS NOT THE COMPANY FOR YOU. Once on the mailing list it seems you will never get off it!!

I assume that falling for the Bradford Exchange Jubilee Coin scam means that these chancers are associated with them? Resulting in junk mail being received today offering me some coin with a massive discount and a free watch. Instead of £145 a mere £29.95... what a bargain!!

As per Bradford Exchange if you fall into the trap of buying this, no doubt, piece of tat with your debit/credit card they will proceed to send you further pieces of crap that you didn't order, debiting your card each time without your permission.
They will make it impossible to contact them or to return the crap and continue debiting your card unless you go through the inconvenience of cancelling it.
AVOID!!!!!

Absolutely appalling. My 90 year old uncle had been ripped off from buying from them over the past 2 years. They told him they were worth more than he was paying for them and will go up in value…absolute folly!

He bought so many items and was putting them away for inheritance for the kids in the family. Thinking it would be of value to them when they got older. How upset he was when he got them valued and was told they’re not worth anything. He had spent hundreds of pounds…..SCAMMERS!!!

Windsor Mint are ripping old people off with dementia. My dad has been conned into buying coins, he has got dementia and they won't speak to me, they just keep sending more stuff out. its terrifying how they seem to take advantage of old people.
