My website stopped working and I was at a complete loss why this was. We're a small organization and rely upon those experts to can give better guidance. This is no truer than the assistance I received from Xilo today in repairing our website which was done in minutes. The amount I pay is reasonable to comparable other providers.

I have over 50 sites live, 200 domains and the performance and reliability has been consistent over that period of time.
Domain costs are extremely reasonable as is the hosting. I have both cpanel and their new control panel, both work flawlessly.
They clearly value their customers and provide good support and help when I need it. I wouldn't put my client sites anywhere else.
I've been using xilo for over a year now and it's been a great. The control panel is clean and intuitive.
The spam filter helps massively. I hardly ever see unwanted emails in my inbox anymore which was an issue with my last host.
I highly recommend it too anyone looking for a reliable email solution.

We had some trouble with a previous registrar that has gone out of business and XILO was very quick in giving us solutions to our problem.
The general response time was within a few hours and everyone we communicated with was very polite and not tired of explaining things to us in an easy and understandable way.
Our website was back up and running within 3 days.

Stay far far away. Cheaper, more reliable hosts are available elsewhere. We are now facing the total loss of our web-based business & brand.

We use Xilo for hosting out of our country for clients we have in the UK and Europe as their network performance is one of the best we've experienced.
Uptime is perfect and we've seen no less than 100% for over 3 years now if not longer.
The servers used are very quick too, sites load instantly and performance is consistent and solid even during what might be busier times such as the work day.
Rarely any need for support but when required is prompt, detailed and quick to identify what the issue is, often something of our doing.
We will continue to use them and compliment our domestic services.
Xilo provides awesome, fast and a professional service. Solid both in service provided and customer support which is second to none. My old host were slow and unresponsive so was in the market to change and Xilo were recommended to me. Have never looked back. Ive since moved all my domains too. No downtime of note and service is reliable. If your website or email are important to you, I whole heartedly recommend them.

The person I spoke to was very patient and helped me to find an fix the problem (I am useless with computers and internet stuff) but with his amazing help and support we managed to get it up and running again.

Terrible experience with Xilo.net after having been a customer since 2014.
First, I requested a transfer of a .co.uk domain out of their service to move everything away to a different web host because their mail servers were too unreliable for a client of mine. It has been a month since making this request, with a request for an update after 2 weeks, and I have been completely ignored. The company offer no way to change the IPS tag via their client portal.
Secondly, I turned off auto-renewal for said service (the only way to cancel a service) with several weeks advance time to process this cancellation. Despite this, they continued to charge me for a full year with no way to request a refund on their website.
I regret being a customer of theirs for 9 years and wish I had chosen a different domain registrar and web host from the start, since now I have a host of issues to deal with caused by them, not least of which that they refuse to engage with my requests to transfer out domains so are effectively holding me hostage.
I have a few domains names, all pointing to the same space. One of them stopped working for some reason. This one points to a different site builder and they changed the IP which I didn't know about. As I thought it was the domain, I contacted Xilo support who checked in to the issue and found it was the other company. They didn't need to but went over and above to find out why and give remedial actions to fix it and I didn't need to contact anyone else. Great service which these days is not the norm.
Facing some email trouble, immediate went "full guns" to the support team due my sheer misunderstanding of what the issue was and despite a hastily and grumpy worded message, the response from support I got was friendly and understanding.
It'll teach me to be more open minded about the issue which was actually due to Microsoft and them breaking "SFP" validation on their domain as found to be widely reported on their own customer community.
Sorry to the team for this anger but I am thankful you responded quickly, explained why my issue was happening and reaching out to Microsoft on my behalf.

Recently I posted a 1-star review about xilo.net... you may have seen it and noticed that it's gone.
I have personally deleted it.
I'm posting this now and giving them 4-stars, after an extensive discussion with them (Peter) following that initial review.
It should be noted that my chat with Pater wasn't as a result of my initial review, it came about following another raised support ticket.
Through that chat, we aired our positions, and ultimately, which is common in issue resolution, came to a better understanding about each other, the situation, and how it had gotten to where it was.
Armed with our improved understanding we have found a way forward and ultimately my confidence as a customer of Xilo.net for 16+ yrs has been restored.
I've not gone 5 stars because we're not in a perfect world, as if that was the case then I wouldn't have felt frustrated enough to post a 1-star in the first place.
But credit where credit is due, I do recommend xilo.net to those looking for solid UK-based hosting and support... although there is no SLA on support tickets. ;)
Has been pretty poor for the past two years.
Multiple support tickets raised with zero responses.
Multiple calls to the support line number, with zero call backs.
Seemingly holding a .co.uk domain to ransom.
Hosting was all fine, and even used them for broadband in the past.
Cannot even get through on the support line anymore.

I have been trying for two years to cancel my domain but despite emails and telephone assurances that it has been cancelled, they have just sent me ANOTHER invoice for £74.99 to be charged against my credit card! Appalling company! DO NOT USE THEM!

Another local biz i use to spread to load so not all eggs in the basket for years. Keep most domains here as pricing is better. Support good and local.
Website email and domain and service is reliable. Usual cpanel affair with all normal bells n whistles. Uptime for my site shows 100% over 2 years on pingdom so that's good. Support is prompt.
Tried to transfer Domain name away. Didn't work. I now can't even log into Xilo control panel. They don't answer phone calls or reply to support tickets. Do they still exist?

Xilo has been one of the best companies to deal with. Had to speak to them a lot recently as I am new to this and service has always been 10/10. Help is quick and never any problem and easy to understand on the phone, much more than that certain daddy company.
I moved my site here after recommendation from my web designer as my last host had servers which kept breaking my site leaving it inoperable. Since the move it has not had the same problems. Support was prompt and helpful.
