Have a Plan B in San Francisco
San Francisco Yellow Cab works fine for me if it shows, but if they don't have enough cars, they also don't have customer service. Disabled senior here. I waited in the San Francisco cold far too long this morning and ended up on buses just to get warm and moving. Don't waste your time. If they don't come, don't get mad, just cancel and use another service. Having an easy-to-remember phone number doesn't mean the service is there. Also, their website is 530 frozen at this writing. Sorry, Yellow!
Curb Problems
On my trip from home, the cab I hailed, which had a Curb logo on the window, had a screen that didn't display the pair and pay code. I needed to pay with a credit card rather than the app.
On my way home, I hailed a cab using the Curb app. I needed to have the cab stop at a corner on the route to let my friend out. Initially, the driver aggressively refused to do this. Only after a very tense exchange did he agree.
Curb should be helping Yellow Cab to meet the competition from Lyft and Uber, these problems are hurting, not helping. Yellow Cab should be proactive in asking Curb to address these issues. Recurring problems like this are making me consider switching to Lyft or Uber.

The most unreliable taxi compony in Vancouver.
I called them more than 24 hours before my flight to order a mini van to the air port and the customer service representative told me that there is no guarantee that I will have the taxi on time , no matter how early I will order it and no guarantee that the car will fit all our luggage. So what the point to rely on them . Just this company is useless. I would have given them - 10 stars if I would have the choice.
LAX Scam artists - overcharging
This driver purposefully took an extended route to prolong the drive and increase the fare by $10 dollars, costing me $56 for the trip. The trip from LAX to 90025 is typically between $37 and $42 before tip, in heavy traffic. I take this trip several times a month. He is a crook. Caught a yellow cab this morning after getting in cab I realized I left my wallet at home I told the driver but I had already called location I was going to and the lady's husband was going to cover cost of cab..I was going to work the driver heard my conversation with where I was going but then suddenly he gets pissed calls me all kinds of names saying I'm homeless..but he was dead wrong..I've decided to never use yellow cab again!!
WORST CAB SERVICE EVER
i booked a wheelchair cab 2 weeks in advance. Last night,the night before my appt, i made sure they were coming as it was an important dental appointment. They said be to be waiting outside early at 1130. i was out there by 11. No cab ever came. i waited until 1230. When the office was called, they said their wheelchair cab was busy all morning so could not pick me up at 1130 as promised. It couldn't be there until after 1, they said and could not promise a time,. My appointment was at one so I missed it, The dental office said they could not fit me in later. i will never book Yellowcab again. Not only that, the cab showed up at the dental officel to take me home at 330. they called my friend who did the booking and said they could not find me, she said ''since you never showed up to take her to the appointment, that is why she was not there, readyto go home.'' She never got there and she is in a awheelchair so it isnt easy for her to get to places.'' Yellow Cab, you made all the mistakes. You told me to be down there early for pick up and i was. since you never picked m up, why did you think i would need a ride home from the dentist?

I used Yellow Cabs Des Moines all the time I visited there. This was a Bucket List trip for me as I was going to visit John Waynes Birth Place Museum in Winterset. One needs to rethink in Taxi vs Uber & Lyft. Just for the heck of it, while at LaGuardia Airport heading to the Manhattan I had a thought in checking prices. To my surprise, the yellow taxi was $8.00 cheaper than Uber. So yes, I took the taxi and had a great experience. Just a heads up guys.
Ripping off the elderly
So I took my 93 old wheel chair bound grandma to the shops which I know cost about 20 dollars maximum.this taxi charged 40 dollars..I complained to their line his response was nope didn't overcharge

We set up a yellow cab 2 weeks before we needed it. We called the day before also. We had a flight to catch. The cab didn't show up at time needed. We called 30 minutes after they were to be here, and was told , we have it on the board, nobody has picked it up. We can't do anything about that. So to make a long story short. You can not trust yellow cab for a ride. If nobody picks your ride up they leave you hanging. No phone calls saying no bodies coming , no anything. DO NOT TRUST YELLOWCAB FOR A RIDE.

Took advantage of my dad going to hospital. Double charged and took him the extra long way. My dad takes taxi frequently and not only double charged him, took him the ling way which my dad was aware of but too scared to say anything

Your driver is absolute terrible , tried to overcharge me £50 to Enfeild, when i get charged £35 to get to this location! do not go with the driver with L99. he's an awful driver and needs to lose his driving badge! On top of that! followed my partner to the shop , and stalking vibes and we called them back and they were going to a vulnerable person's house to demand a house to get the money! Like he's not fit to be a driver at all! so i am not using yellow cabs again they're not up too par and
has a very stinking attitude and do not care about any of their customers . So yeah, i took my money back and told him suck himself.
