I have had a really bad experience with the Indian Queens Commercial Van dept...culminating in a letter of complaint sent on the 15th August detailing 2 quite serious faults and have no response at all!! I cannot get in touch with anyone at the Yeomans head office as there are just no phone or email contact details and I need someone to contact me please.

I dealt with Zak from start to finish, everything went smoothly and I am very happy with my car which was literally delivered to my door.
Due to my seeing the car initially through the Skoda approved used car site, Zak provided me with all the details I needed to make an informed choice, including a personalised video of the vehicle.
Zak is a very professional and approachable salesman who kept me constantly updated throughout the process of an online purchase.

I was trying to get in contact with this place for over a year! They've Never answered the phone, not once! It goes to answer phone so each time I've left a message & they've Never rang back.
I don't live in that town but apparently its the nearest place.
What a way to run a business.
So bloody unhelpful!

I made a visit to Yeomans Bridgewater to view a used Mercedes C Class. I was warmly greeted by Zak Evan’s who was polite, professional and courteous. Unfortunately the car was not for me, but I must commend Zak for the way he dealt with my enquiry and praise him for his friendly and professional manner.

Zak was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process of helping my mum buy her new car. He made everything incredibly smooth and straightforward, and really took the time to talk her through all the features of the car, as well as explaining the warranty and making sure she was completely comfortable with everything.

Buying herself a newer car was a big deal for my mum, and Zak couldn’t have made the experience any better. There was no pressure, nothing felt rushed, and she came away genuinely excited and confident about her new car.

I can highly recommend Yeomans Skoda and particularly Zak Evans for their exceptional customer service. Zak contacted me within 1 hour of making an online enquiry. Zak arranged for us to view a stock vehicle and test drive an identical model. Nothing was too much trouble and Zak answered all of our questions knowledgeably and professionally. Zak is a credit to Yeomans.

“Built on Trust”, that’s Yeomans’ strap line. A word of caution to anyone thinking of buying a used vehicle from this dealer, please do not believe the ‘trust’ bit!

After weeks of procrastination, I finally decided to de-risk the potential of buying a dodgy vehicle, by paying a premium and buying a used VW Transporter from a “VW Approved Used” dealership. I found a Transporter I liked at Yeomans’ VW Commercial dealership, Exeter. But, as you can imagine from my TP rating of Yeomans, it hasn’t gone well for me and I regret the whole experience.

I don’t hold out much hope of getting anywhere with my issues, so all I’d like to do here is to try and avoid anyone else having the same experience I’ve had.
Here’s a few pointers that might be helpful:
If it’s an independent VW dealer, like Yeomans, then ‘VW Approved Used’ virtually means nothing. VW have no control over independent dealers’ approved used vehicle sales. To become a VW approved used vehicle, the vehicle only needs to be inspected and serviced by an approved VW mechanic. If you call VW UK to complain or raise a concern about a VW approved used vehicle, they will only act as an intermediary between you and the dealership, and will not act as a decision maker or authority!
Make sure you physically see the service history of the vehicle you’re buying - don’t accept anything but a full service history, with services carried out at the appropriate interval - anything else, walk away! Accepting a sketchy or incomplete service history is running the risk of buying a vehicle with unverified mileage!
If you can, get an independent inspection and road test by an organisation like the AA or RAC.
If the dealer doesn’t comply with any of the above, walk away!
It’s hard to do, but take the emotion out of the purchase. The vehicle may be exactly what you’re looking for, but don’t get attached before running all the checks and measures! I didn’t, and now I’ve potentially had my fingers burnt…

Called in to Yeomans Bridgwater Skoda as I couldn't work out how to reset the trip on the new virtual dash.
A salesman called Zak was kind enough to come to my car and explain the process of how to do it. He was very patient (I'm not the best technically!) and was happy to go through it a few times to help make sure I fully understood. Excellent service, he was happy to help.

Very disappointing experience
One of the worst experiences I’ve had with a car dealership. My partner and I travelled five hours to collect a car that had been described as having machine polish and ceramic protection.
When we arrived, the car was dirty and had visible swirl marks all over it. The condition was nowhere near what I had been led to expect, and it was extremely disappointing after travelling such a long distance.
We wasted a considerable amount of time and money travelling to the dealership, only to find that the car was not as described. In my opinion, the company should at the very least consider reimbursing us for the travel expenses we incurred as a result.
Overall, a very disappointing experience and certainly not the standard of service I expected.

I think this has been my best experience of buying anything ever.
We first visited a few weeks ago with the intention of getting my daughter a car and were greeted by Saffy.
There are not enough words to describe the compassion and empathy that we experienced. She understood that my daughter had some difficulties and treated her with so much understanding and respect that I could visibly see my daughter relaxing as they were talking.
It turned out that my daughter actually really loves driving my car, but we needed one each, so I have sold mine to her, explained the situation to Saffy who then turned her attention to finding exactly the right car for me. I refused to look elsewhere for a car because I only wanted to buy one from Saffy as she deserved the sale.
What an absolute asset she is to Yeomans and we all wish her the very best for her future.

Zac was helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process. Everything was explained clearly and I completed the purchase the same day. Thank you for your time.

Our old car had some issues, so we approached Skoda to assess the options - From our first introduction to Zak Evans he took the process of getting a new car from start-to-finish with professionalism and understanding.

As a result we were shown a car that was the perfect fit and within budget. From the paperwork, test drive and collection of the vehicle Zak approached every step with friendly solid advice and a listening ear.

My Navara has just been fixed after spending 16 weeks at Yeomans Nissan Portsmouth awaiting a new adblue tank. 6 weeks of which was solely caused by the incompetence of after sales manager and his service team not ordering the part!!! I had to hire a vehicle for those 6 weeks at a cost of £2100 !!! ( because of there incompetence!!!)and they reduced my repair bill £650 but only after a google review ( Shameful) , which seems to be all After sales manager is concerned about (write a review and see how quick they respond if it is negative) , I didn’t think he responded to emails in a professional manner and he didn’t offer any sort of courtesy vehicle , after 10 weeks I asked to speak to General Manager who did offer a courtesy vehicle after a discussion but by then I was £3000 out of pocket on hire vehicle as I’m a sole trader I need a commercial vehicle. I did use the offered vehicle for week 13 to 16. On collection of my Navara the After sales Manager who had agreed a cost of £1100 which we agreed on then said it didn’t inc the vat ( I did ask the total and £1100 was agreed) so new total approx £1350, read other reviews on there website to see the service department led by After sales Manager falls short of expectations. Overall a very poor service from a main dealer !!!! You are only allowed to name the managers in positive reviews , as negative reviews you are asked to remove names! Look on the Yeomans Nissan Portsmouth website for reviews!! Further to your feedback , vehicle was out of warranty and I approached Nissan uk to help towards costs as Navara has a full Nissan history and low mileage 63000, but I told service department from day I dropped it off to order part as I would pay for repair, any confusion about ordering part was internal between service manager and his co workers!! Secondly I was not offered any courtesy vehicle till week 10 when General Manager got involved, service manager offered nothing!
Lastly I used Bumper to pay for repair and I set it all up before I picked up Navara, again service manager never offered it and no one at Yeomans did either!!

From start to finish the experience was a smooth and easy one. Tim Hector is the person I have liaised with since I bought my first ŠKODA in 2019. He has always been professional, friendly, informative and nothing has been too much trouble, even arranging for my dash cam ( which I bought elsewhere ) to be fitted as part of the pre delivery process. I never feel under pressure to buy the most expensive vehicle but instead given all my options and allowed to choose based on my personal needs and reasons - there is never any hard sell at Yeomans which adds nicely to the overall service and experience of buying a new car through them. I was kept informed of progress throughout. The overall way Yeomans treat customers and especially the rapport Tim builds with you are enormous factors into why I keep choosing ŠKODA. 11/10 customer service from Tim and any staff I deal with at Yeomans Bridgwater
