An excellent put together tour of Cuba! A trip of a lifetime!

choice of hotels in Havana particularly the Melia Havana was too far out for anybody who was interested in the history and culture of the city and country. A resort hotel where the emphasis is on the swimming pool left something to be desired and it was too far from the center

The trip was quite enjoyable. I’d do it again. We had a full itinerary everyday with a variety of experiences which kept things interesting. We saw much of Cuba and through the discussions with the local guide and Jane we gained insights into the Cuban culture and history both pre and post revolution. The humanitarian components added another dimension to the trip and were more informative and interesting than I had anticipated.

Enjoyed the Cuban people as well as those on the tour. Food was very good but the restaurants were too generous with quantity. Hotels nice, comfortable and met our needs as was the transportation. There were a couple schedule adjustments (for example a restaurant we were scheduled to eat at had become a bar)but Jane and the local guide learned of this early and quickly came up with a wonderful alternative...never missed a beat.

The Ya'lla tour to Cuba was well planned. The tours were interesting and gave us a great deal of information about Cuba past and present. Everyone representing Ya'lla, in particular, Jane, Osmin and Jesus were excellent. We always felt safe and taken care of.
The restaurants, hotels and sightseeing added up to a delightful experience.

Excellent trip...but would have enjoyed a slower pace...maybe an extra day for the excursions! Jane was fabulous as were Ossmin and Jesus. I enjoyed every venue and the food was amazing. Your preplanning was right on but the flexibility of all was appreciated as well! Suggestion...as you had contact info on all of us, and internet was spotty at best...it might have been a relief to families had you contacted them that we were ok after the reports of the tornado in Havana! Just a thought! Thanks for a memorable trip!

Guide was pleasant and showed us what we wanted to see.

I booked my clients with Ya'lla Tours and they had a fantastic trip. The attention to detail is unmatched, loved their driver and hotel and a fabulous experience all round. They said they would travel with Ya'lla again in a heartbeat.

Overall the trip was very awe inspiring. The archeology is something you will never see again in a lifetime.

First for the pros:
All the hotels were wonderful. The Carlton in Tel Aviv, the U Boutique Kinneret in Tiberias, the Waldorf Astoria in Jerusalem, and the Movenpick in Petra were all exceptional hotels.

The guide in Israel, Jacob and in Jordan the driver Vasam and the guide Dawud "David" were the best. Very patient and full of knowledge. I don't believe that Yalla missed a thing. We saw just about everything.

And then the cons:
A lot of walking. We did know about the walking in Petra but most everywhere else also included much walking especially in Jerusalem when visiting the Via Dolorosa, Way of the Cross to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Would be a good idea to let the client know about how much walking is required.

The trip to Bethlehem was not what we expected or were told about. Our driver could not go into the West Bank(we were not aware that we were going to an area of "political tension") so he drove us to the border, another driver picked us up and took us through the heavily guarded border crossing to another guide who gave us the tour of Bethlehem. He then took us back to the driver who in turn took us back to the guarded border and to our original driver.

No one could understand, both guides, why we crossed into Jordan so far north. It took about 2 hours for the Israeli driver to get us there and then it took almost another 6-7 hours to drive south in Jordan to get to Petra only to drive the same distance to get back north on our return. We did stop in Madaba and Mt. Nebo which could have been accomplished on our return, which was another 6- hours. By this I mean we could have crossed further south and then returned at the north. Instead we did a lot of driving. Perhaps better planning.

A couple of suggestions:
When making the itinerary plan for the client to not be rested after a more than 15 hour flight and make the first day a day on their own instead of "jumping" right into an 8:30am pickup to start the tour. Also, there seems to have been a mix-up on where the driver was to meet us on our arrival at the Ben Gurion airport. As it turned out he was in baggage claim not out at the Welcome area. Since we did not have any checked baggage we did not see him nor would we have expected to see him there. It took some phone calls to straighten this all out. Not what you want after a very long flight.

All-in-all I would use Yalla again now that we know what to look for. So I hope both future clients and Yalla can use some of these suggestions to their advantage.

This was our first experience with Ya’lla and I was very impressed with the company. Everything from the arrival in Tel Aviv to our departure two weeks later came off flawlessly. We had one small incident during the trip but the owner personally responded and did a fantastic job. We had a great experience in both Israel and Jordan but for us the Jordan experience was the best.
I would highly recommend them for other travelers to the area.

Our trip went off beautifully! Our guide was knowledgeable and more importantly, flexible during our tour. Our accommodations at Petra were first rate. I highly recommend Ya'lla Tours to anyone who wants to experience Jordan up close and personal.

This was a phenomenal trip!! The hotels, guide, & driver were excellent! Most days were from 8:00 AM-at least 6:00 PM. The first of two hotels was on the Sea of Galilee, so it would have been nice to cut a few days short to enjoy it during daylight. Same with the 2nd hotel in Jerusalem, would have liked to explore the area. Because the days were so long, there really wasn’t time to reflect & enjoy. Rather had to clean up, get to dinner, & think about bedtime. It
was not necessary to have every lunch reflect the local cuisine. Having an extremely knowledgeable tour guide as well as our Pastor along, made for the most amazing trip we have ever experienced. Thank you!

We were so fortunate to have the BEST driver possible. Achmed Ziouana took care of us as if we were family. Next best was our experience in Chefchaouen with Fatima and one of us said that the day excursion to Berber village for lunch was her highlight. We were not pleased with service in the Riad El Amine (Fes.), but that was the only difficult spot.

All details were handled in a professional manner. No errors occurred through multiple transfers (pickups and deliveries). All hotel accomodations were neat and clean with good central locations to expedite local explorations.

I think the planning done by Ya'lla Tours was exceptional! Not only that but our tour guides were excellent!

Our trip to Turkey was last minute, so naturally, my wife and I were thrilled when Ya'lla Tours came back with a proposal to visit Cappadoccia, Izmir, and Ephesus. We were informed of all the contacts and the tour guides/drivers were professional, knowledgeable, and on-time. We were totally scheduled yet with flexibility to do things that appealed to us at the last minute. I would recommend them highly.
