This company is a total scam. Same story as everyone else. Purchased a Yamaha f70la from this site. Then contacted by Winsky cargo logistics. Same thing. They wanted a ton of cash for certificates that don’t even exist when looked up IATA-263C and T1 T2 certificates along with GST.
IATA-263C doesn’t exist. There are IATA DGR certifications. Dangerous Goods Regulations
T1/T2 these allow goods to be transported thru EU without paying import duties. This motor is supposedly already in theUS. So those don’t apply
I did use American Express for the transaction. They have suspended the amount I was charged and have an open investigation into this matter. I was smart enough to screenshot and record every message I’ve sent all of this to a dispute file held with Amex. I’m hoping to recover the invoice costs and teach these scoundrels a lesson. In short. This company is 100% a total scam. Stay clear.

I wished I would've seen the reviews before I contacted Yamaha Outboards. I bought a 2022 200hp Yamaha Outboard motor with 329 hours for my boat on January 28th 2025 from Yamaha Outboard Motors (seller), 9007 Olive Dr Spring Valley, CA 91977 for $6,671.92 including expedite shipping. The motor was supposed to be in Visalia, CA and I should received it in one week here in Vero Beach. I paid the complete amount using zelle, after getting a discount of $400. The motor was supposed to be delivered by Winsky Logistics and Cargo Delivery (shipper).

The shipper contacted me to informed me that there where extra charges for delivery, licenses, permits, storage, penalties, transportation, and more, that the seller omitted to cover in order to received my motor, which was imported from China. As off today, 3 months latter, I spent $17,271.92 and still have no motor. I just received a letter from the seller branch manager informing me that my engine was confiscated by my county, but they will offer me a 50% discount towards a new motor, and a different shipping company. I'm getting a lawyer.

We contacted Yamaha through their website and received a response from Christopher, yamahaoutboarddealers (email address is the same) asking about a Used Yamaha F250B - 25" Shaft. Communication and purchase went smoothly, we fully expected to receive the engine promptly seeing as their company is located in "Georgia". HA!!! We received a confirmation email from a shipping company Winsky Cargo Logistics (email address is the same), Isa Demir, that they are ready to ship the engine, we just needed to pay for the necessary certificates for customs. Our second mistake was sending the funds to an account with the "Cashiers" name as the account holder, our third mistake was sending the funds a second time an account in Istanbul, citing that they didn't realize the funds were being wired internationally. We contact Christopher and he directed us to another shipping account their company uses, Travis T. Wilson, MailExpress Delivery (email address is the same). By now we learned our lesson when they wanted us to pay for the same certificates, that we "purchased" through Winsky, and are valid for 12 months AND to send it to an account in Istanbul. We wouldn't do that so they sent their Bank of America account info, but again the account was in a personal name. Suffice to say we sent no more money and they haven't tried to contact us. Thousands of dollars down the drain!

Fast and reliable I can't express enough positive feedback about my experience with Yamaha Outboard Dealers. Their primary focus was my satisfaction, and they truly went the extra mile to make that happen. You can absolutely benefit from their incredible prices (they provide transparent pricing and honor it) even if you're on the other side of the country!

I had not read Trustpilot reviews. They had a good price on used 25 hp outboards but would not accept payment without fraud protection. I told them I would not make ANY payment without fraud protection.

They tried to get me even to pay with an employee's PERSONAL paypal, provided no fraud protection.

BEWARE OF THIS VENDOR.

bought a used 225 hp engine from here two months ago, it came with 234 hours on it and has been running like a brand new motor

I was looking to buy an outboard and this site had good prices - my first mistake, anything worth its salt in motors you're going to pay for. They had me pay through a third party merchant (kionpay). When I felt funny about this I canceled order and no refund or contact. Pure scam beware!

Currently having same trouble as John Maiorano wrote in his May22,2024 report. You buy & pay for motor and shipping and then get notice from Winsky Logistics, Isa Demir claiming I owe $390 for T1&T2 customs certificates. No mention of this before, during or after sale. Avery Eric works well with you, takes your money, then won't reply when you inquire about certificates. I believe he is their only support person.... only communication was via WhatsApp; no phone number, no email, no text. Rating them 1star is a big injustice. They don't deserve it.
Update ...This truly was a SCAM!!! Stay away!!

I purchased a used yamada 40HP 2016
The price was very good for being a first time buyer but they never told me it was being imported from China.
It was a nightmare!!!
They had winsky logistic cargo company doing the shipping and they scammed me out of thousands of dollars to ship this outboard with all kinds of fees and yamada regulations which were not necessary for a used engine.
I never got the outboard and i have pressed charges against them.

got a good deal. I bought a 2019 Yamaha T25 – 20″ Shaft using their 35% discount for first time customers, their sales administrator Avery Eric was very patient and helpful all through the process.
