I had a brilliant experience with Yorkshire windows, communication was good. I am very pleased with fitting and the way the team cleaned up after. I am also impressed with the quality of the windows, have noticed a definite difference with sound proofing and heat loss.

Very happy with my installation great set of lads that fitted it made sure everything was perfect before leaving. Would highly recommend to friends and family.

Not really sure where to start. Every person who came into our house from sales to workmen were absolutely fantastic. The real problem seemed to be during the installation of our new conservatory roof. Our project manager who I won’t name, wanted to try to tell us that plastering the inside of the roof was not included. They left us with exposed insulation and taped up board on the inside along with remaining pvc panelling which was just left on our floor unused. Clearly it was an unfinished job and they tried to insist that because plastering is “not mentioned within the scope of work” the job was complete and that’s it. It wasn’t until I sent a long email with photos that they agreed that it was indeed unfinished and they had to book the plasterer in for us to finish the job.
That was finished after I had to email and argue my case. A little annoying but happy to have the interior plastered.
Then, there was the issue of the extractor fan hose which both sales and surveyor were aware of, the hose was not reconnected to the outside and so the hose was left extracting from the kitchen into the conservatory. Our project manager once again tried his favourite line of “not included within the scope of works”. He should know by now that this line does not work with me, and he cannot work his way around me in this way. I am a professional person and I fully understand an unfinished job when I see one. I was highly offended that he thought he could win again with that line of “not included in the scope of works” what does he think I am? That won’t work with me mate, but unfortunately I feel as though some others may fall for this and be intimidated by the clear refusal of any accountability. He suggested that I should have checked the scope of work to see if any of that was included and that it was my fault somehow. If the interior has exposed insulation along with remaining unused pvc plastic panels then it means the job is unfinished. It don’t take a genius to work that out really. If I ever have any further work done with this company I will not be going ahead with it if we are assigned the same project manager because he really needs to learn how to accept and take accountability for mistakes, rather than always try to use his favourite line of “not mentioned within the scope of works” this is completely unacceptable although I am happy it’s all finally been resolved and the extractor fan has been sorted too. But I had to argue my case for these things to be finished off properly.

We’ve only just found out that the original Yorkshire windows went bust in Feb this year ( 2025). After spending £26,000 on new windows doors and a conservatory from them. So in only 2 years the 10 year guarantee we were given isn’t worth a penny. The whole process we went through was terrible. Poor workmanship, dreadful customer service and the owner just didn’t care.
I understand that the new owner has bought the old name but isn’t having anything to do with past installations.
Firstly I really don’t understand why anyone would want to buy a company name that stands for rubbish but I hope that Mr Bowles who has bought it has got rid of the toxic managers that originally worked there and has got a new team working for him because if he hasn’t, my advice is to stay well clear of them. Total incompetence. I wish we had chosen a different company but I had yorkshire windows back then they really were good in the early 2000’s so I chose to use them again. Do your research and choose carefully is my honest advice

He priced up what I wanted, and no pressure, emailed me full confirmation of windows I wanted, now just got to choose.

We are really pleased with our new patio doors. Everyone we spoke to throughout the process was friendly and helpful. The fitters were great, did an amazing job, left everything really tidy and were really friendly. If I had one piece of constructive criticism it is that I would have liked confirmation of the installation date and time without having to phone to ask for it. That being said, they were really friendly and helpful when I did phone to ask if and when the installation was taking place.

We have used Yorkshire Windows twice now, and both times we have been impressed. Their customer service has been brilliant throughout the process of receiving initial quotes, surveying and measuring for installation, and the installation itself. Their friendly team have been on hand throughout, and we would recommend them to anyone.

The whole process from order to installation was smooth and unhurried. No pushy salesman and good communication throughout.

Beautiful well constructed door. From beginning to end, the service was brilliant and we would highly recommend. Yorkshire windows have been professional throughout, from choosing the door, offering practical advice and the fitters were friendly and tidy, even the after sales service was fabulous, making sure we were satisfied with the product and service. We've had lots of compliments too about the door.

Everything from start to finish was brilliant I would always use Yorkshire window the staff who I dealt with were excellent the fitters did an excellent job and I’m very pleased with the results thank you

The Scottish gentleman I spoke to seemed friendly enough and knew exactly what I wanted . Apparently it will take about 5 days to make my specific window.
I cannot comment more until I have my purchase and installed it.

Absolutely disgusting I'm waiting for a replacement door because mine is faulty had it measured up 5 weeks ago phoned numerous numbers nobody can take it on I'm going to contact trading standards.

Although this company is no longer trading. If any remnants remain of the staff or Mr Chester himself avoid at all costs. They took our money, wiping out all of our family savings when they must have already known they were going to collapse, and we have been left with nothing. The service throughout our process was appalling and they concealed there precarious financial position from their customers to the last moment.

Had doors and windows fitted 4 years ago, been trying to get through to the after sales team for a solid week of constantly calling with no answer and ignored messages. Tried every option - sales, installation and aftercare just to try and speak to someone and nothing. Hoping a negative review will prompt them to contact me finally.

An employee came out to quote, no problems there, however that was 2 weeks ago and had numerous emails ignored since. Impossible to get through to the company on the telephone, left numerous messages, no returned calls. Unable to confirm an appt at the showroom. Not a problem for us as using another company, probably a lucky escape. Just seems a very strange way to run a business.

Been waiting for our installation, paid a 3k deposit, and now have no contact from the company. Had a message the over a week ago saying our installation has been cancelled but can't get in contact with anyone to find out when it's to be rescheduled for. Our sales person now has an answer phone message stating she is 'no longer associated with the company' and the phone number supplied by the company just rings out. All we want is an update and assurance that the install is still going ahead, but nobody is responding.

What a let down what a company what a headache !! After 2years & 7 visits later water still coming in through the door they fitted , it’s been letting water in since the 1st week they fitted it !! Carpet wet through AGAIN had a design engineer look at it & he said it was so badly fitted it will keep happening ! We just want it sorting!
Please look else where for a double glazed door .

have used yorkshire windows over the years and never had a problem with the quality of the windows and doors, so needing some very old french doors replacing they were our first stop, from start to finish everything went smoothly, the two guys who fitted them were superb,polite and knew what they were doing. the doors are top quality and look amazing, what a difference to the old one's. Very happy and would recommend this company.

Very efficient fitters, explained what they were doing and why. Talked me through how to operate the fitted units.
Only issue was some of the frames were marked during fitting, have follow up team coming out to look at and hopefully rectify.

Very professional in all aspects.
Careful to understand what I needed, plenty of guidance on what to expect on installation day.
Installation took place on a very cold day, so all credit to them both for surviving the horrible conditions!
