I worked with Nadine during my time in hospice. She is the most caring and compassionate human I have met. When it comes to bereavement or just talking to someone Nadine has a special way of saying exactly what you need to hear when you need to hear it.

As a nurse in hospice in Middle Tennessee, I worked along side this bright and caring woman. Her compassion, support, and respect for both co-workers and clients was unmatched. She is both professional and experienced in her treatment and care of clients. She used the most ethical and relatable techniques for bereavement care. Truly, a remarkable professional. Working with her was a blessing and one of highlights of my 11 year career.

I had the pleasure of working alongside Nadine in the hospice setting. She truly cares for the patients, their families, and her coworkers, Nadine provides a care and compassion for families that goes above and beyond helping them while going through loss or any tough time in life. The community is truly being blessed with the addition of Anchor of Hope. They can count on Nadine to be there in their time of need for comfort and care. Nadine is by far one of the best bereavement coordinators I have ever had the pleasure of working with as a hospice coordinator. I’m beyond proud to be able to still call her my friend long after my employment alongside her.

I’ve known Nadine for many years. She is very compassionate and understanding when it comes to others. She is intelligent, driven, and wise in her faith and in her career. She makes the world a better place.

I've had the absolute pleasure of knowing Nadine both professionally and personally. I have watched her serve others and I have been blessed to have her guide me through my own tragedy as well. These are the character traits I've observed through those experiences.

FAITHFUL- faithful to her God first, faithful to her family second, and then faithful to those He has led her to serve.
DILIGENT- when Nadine has a goal, she is diligent with her time, her approach, and commitment to completion. If she says yes, she will always, always follow through.
HONEST- she means what she says and says what she means... compassionately. I don't mean in a "sugar coating" kind of way, I mean in an "only God could gift someone to speak this well into the hard things in your life" kind of way. It's unique and unusual and beautiful.
GENUINE- she has no trouble at all being vulnerable in front of others. She is walking out the call on her life to serve and being true to that comes naturally. You will never once doubt her sincerity or wonder if she believes what she says.
SKILLED- she's done the work, she's invested in her studies, she's been obedient, she's done the hard things and now she says yes when God calls her to share those skills with others.

I worry my review has been too lengthy already. However, if you ever have the pleasure of knowing Nadine you will understand why it's so difficult to be brief. She's just wonderful, a gift to society and an excellent human all around.

I feel truly blessed to have received counseling from Nadine Saelens after the betrayal of my husband. Her faith-based support and pastoral care was a huge difference from previous counselors, whose approach often left me feeling discouraged rather than supported.

Many a times the nurses from our office have come to her office to let their hair down, and feel rejuvenated when we left her office. To know her is to love her!

I had the honor of working with Nadine when I was a hospice RN case manager, and she is truly one of the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met. She provided incredible bereavement support not just to patient’s families, but to the nurses as well.

She truly listens and brings genuine comfort to those she cares for, especially during those seasons of grief that come with losing a loved one. Nadine is a phenomenal human that I had the honor of working beside when we both worked in hospice. During that time, I had the opportunity to not only coordinate with her professionally on behalf of my patients, but to also have some personal conversations about death, and the grieving process. Nadine has a true depth of understanding the grief process and is able to connect with not only patients, but also family members, in all stages of the grieving process. Nadine is probably the best at her profession if I ever had words to describe her. In the Hospice setting, I have seen the lengths of her work from start to finish with families and it is incredible how compassionate, patient, and kind she is towards everyone to ensure they feel heard. She gives strength through some of the most difficult times of people's life and her character beautifully reflects her passion in this line of work.

I have worked with Nadine in the Hospice field (my position was a social worker). During my experience working with her, I observed her calm, patient, kind, and caring heart as she did what she loves, which is helping others navigate through their hardest times.
