This app is immensely useful, allowing me to find out the contents of packaged foods. Yuka reads the bar code on packaging and provides a list of the contents, including additives. It makes clear which additives are harmful to health. I use the Yuka app whenever I go shopping for food, cosmetics, toothpaste.

Used to use and love app! But when the rating for Simple Truth organic tart cherry juice was rated 100/100 a month ago and I then drank it every evening before going to bed. Now the same juice is rated “poor” 49/100. I feel I have been scam about thinking I was drinking something healthy. I am returning my 5 jars tomorrow. 😡

I tried it and it was actually really good Its easy to use but it only scans skincare,food and some more 4 stars

I used to rely on this app for everything, but unfortunately, they do not fact check the information that’s provided to them about each product, they rely solely on the manufacturers label even if it’s inaccurate or misleading. I would be very careful in the future using this app until they base their approval on actual facts.

Comment une glace à la vanille sans oeufs (base de la crème anglaise qui est la base de la glace à la vanille...) peut-elle être considérée comme la meilleure du marché? Avez-vous une seule fois goûté et surtout préparé une glace à la vanille ? Je viens pour "une seule fois" d'acheter un produit industriel quand même (!) sans vérifier sa composition auparavant ( poudre , fécule et poudre)pour réaliser un dessert très raffiné de Gilles Marchal (!) Scandaleux.

Credo di aver installato Yuka quando ancora chiedeva ai frequentatori dell'app di scansionare i codici a barre che non erano ancora tutti verificati per allargare il database.
Dallo scorso anno sono diventato sostenitore volontariamente perché il valore dietro il servizio offerto, merita il sostegno dei consumatori.
Grazie di esistere, continuate così io ci sarò.

Buonissima app dove verificare in modo semplice la qualità e efficacia dei prodotti alimentari e cosmetici! Se sono salutari! La consiglio quando andate al supermercato!

I am not exactly sure when I started using it, but it's definitely been more than 4 years. I rely on this app every time I want to switch shampoo, cream or even toothpaste.
My mum ended up using it as well, she is even scanning the liquid soap and grocery items.
I upgraded the paid version over a year ago, and honestly €20 a year is nothing compared to the value it provides.

I was told about Yuka 4 months ago & I don't know how I've lived without it. I threw out my shampoo, bath products. body lotion etc. etc. I'm horrified to find out how much rubbish I was putting on my face & body, products that in some cases were for sensitive skin & just making it worse. I hope that companies that add bad additives will find that their sales plummet as more people discover this wonderful app. I won't buy any food unless I've scanned it first. Often the reason that food has a bad rating will be too much salt, sugar, saturated fats. I think it's important to join because if you use if for free you're not supporting Yuka, I'm informed if food contains palm oil & is vegetarian which means that I don't have to constantly search the ingredients. You can ask to be informed if something contains gluten, lactose, soy. I noticed people complaining that if they order online they are unable to scan the barcode, if you join you can search the product. can't recommend this app highly enough.

Application géniale. J’ai constaté du reste que ceux qui critiquent Yuka sont souvent payés par le système. Idem, allez vous balader, tous les médias à la botte du système critiquent mine de rien cette application. N’hésitez pas à utiliser cette application, elle est juste géniale et doit rendre fous toutes ces grosses entreprises qui ne vendent que de la M…E!!

Molto utile nella lettura delle etichette

I signed up for a one-year subscription to the upgraded services and then was unable to sign in to my account. Basically, the app states that it will send me a link to change my password and then I never get an email with a link. I have tried contacting them dozens of time via their website and using my phone but no response. They stole my money and have discarded me.

I am so grateful my workout partner told me about this app...I paid extra in order to scan bar codes at the grocery store. truly a great tool. many old time favorites went back on the shelf... new, better choices made...!

Sympa est facile d'utilisation depuis que je l'ai installé il y a quelques mois ! Complètement gratuit et sans pub, un abonnement payant est disponible pour quelques fonctionnalités supplémentaires mais rien d'obligatoire.

Sono rimasta molto delusa da questa app. Devo dire che la usavo come un vademecum affidabilissimo ma poi mi sono accorta che negli ultimi tempi segnalazioni tipo additivi nocivi alla salute sono messi in coda ai contenuti con valori nobili.
Ieri poi mi ha dato eccellente un prodotto con tutti pallini verdi ma in fondo alla lista un additivo pallino rosso nocivo alla salute.
Eccellente perché con una segnalazione del genere?? Che posto (ahimè di proposito) in fondo in fondo si poteva anche non notare!?

J'utilise yuka depuis plus d'un an. J'ai découvert que les alternatives proposées ne sont pas "meilleures " pour notre santé.
Comparez la moutarde mi-forte de la marque Amora avec la moutarde bio de DELOUIS. Cette dernière a plus de 6.4g/100g de sel alors qu'Amora affiche 4.5g/100 g. Je ne doute pas que la moutarde DELOUIS soit bonne mais il y a plus de sel et ça c'est pas pris en compte par l'application. Manque de transparence.
Je désinstalle cette appli car je ne lui fait plus confiance. Je n'ai pas le temps de tt comparer et contrôler, mon objectif était justement de me faire gagner du temps, mais je décide de ne pas me faire manipuler...quel dommage.

Downloaded the free Yuka app and suddenly i had a £40.56 charge from 24Hstation. So much for the app being free. Dont trust this app
