Perfect! She's the best and most trustable merch dealer I've ever had ♡

Unfortunately I too have had mixed experiences with her. I commented on a post/private messaged her for items (when I could have got it cheaper on eBay, but hey I wanted to support a small business). She never replied and then by the time she did the item was no longer available for preorder AND the price was higher on eBay since I waited so long. She also does respond in a rude/blunt matter, which I think she needs to work on. Also I’ve had a couple of occasions where she’s skipped my comment to claim so now I just source elsewhere. I have had all my orders arrive fine, it is just the customer service/attitude that is the main off putting factor. Not to mention her calling out people on her stories is a bit bizarre/unprofessional, imagine if a major company did stuff like that! I still follow her as a catalogue of “new” things in Japan, but I always find it cheaper elsewhere. I get it’s a one woman show, but no ones forcing you to do this and especially as a small business you should make sure people WANT to spend money with you rather than someone/somewhere else. It pays to be nice!

The best place to get merch from! Super understanding about payments and Invoices and such. Super quick shipping and a lovely family to buy from :) I’ve been buying for years with no problem! She gets special requests so easily even if it’s the most obscure request- and this is being written by someone who loves niche magical girl anime haha.

Personally I’ve only had amazing experiences with yykawaii, fast shipping, responsive seller and great quality. I’d recommend them!

Amazing service and repeat purchaser. I have been buying from yykawaii for years, she is lovely, kind and professional. She does open orders so you dont have to pay postage on small items. She rearranged delivery of my parcel when I moved house. All her items are genuine and reasonably priced. I couldn't get them from japan so easily - you have to mess around with shopping services etc, she does all this for you with a smile! She runs her business with two small kids and does an amazing job.

I've been a customer of YYKawaii for a couple of years (at least!), and the service has always been outstanding! She's always been pleasant, and works so hard to get you the things you want. I've been able to get so many amazing things that would have been unattainable to me, and its one of the only places I know I can trust for anime merchandise. There's so much fake merchandise out there and YYKawaii ALWAYS+ONLY sells genuine goods. I'll always be grateful to her for the services she provides and hope I can continue to support her in the future. It's a small business run by one person, so just pay invoices on time and don't agree to spend money you don't have-this can be a huge inconvenience for them! I honestly can't recommend YYKawaii enough :) <3

All of the times I have purchased from yykawaii, all of my products have arrived on time and in perfect condition!

The only problem I maybe have is her prices, BUT when you consider that she is a one woman business earning money for her family it really makes sense. If you cannot afford the prices she has then you're welcome to shop elsewhere. To me, the knowledge that I'm helping someone look after their family with the few extra £££ I pay makes me happy and is one of the reasons i shop with yykawaii <3

(Another small thing is that i cant figure out how to navigate her website at ALL but that doesn't bother me as i mostly use her instagram posts to make purchases)

incredibly rude. she needs some help to run her business as she obviously struggles. you can easily find her products cheaper elsewhere. lots of people have complained to me aswell

I discovered YYKawaii in Feb 2021 and have had nothing but amazing experiences. She provides Japanese merch at great prices, always replies in a timely manner to questions and keeps customers aware of any changes or issues with orders. She is super kind and thoughtful and I love the extra drawings her 2 children put into parcels sometimes. She does an amazing job of running a small business by herself, items are always packaged safely and dispatched super quick. There is the option to have an open Order which I have done various times to save money on shipping and I love being able to open a big box of all my Japanese goodies! There are options to buy tickets for Kujis and also win prizes too. If there is a special request for an Item you want, YYkawaii will do her best to source it for you for a reasonable price. Cannot fault this business and she makes supporting her and getting Japanese merch such an enjoyable experience.

I feel the negative reviews here are completely unfair. I have seen first hand the rude and entitled attitudes of some 'customers' thinking they should be getting fast replies or are being purposefully ignored when a message slips through the net. Those saying she is rude are most likely getting as good as they give, you be rude to her, you'll get rudeness back. You would not be able to walk into a store and hurl abuse to the staff and not expect to be kicked out of said store, and the same applies here. She is a one woman show working so hard and doesn't need or want rude or entitled customers. I've never seen YyKawaii be rude, just firm and put a stop to abuse she was receiving very quickly, as would any business or individual.

As for complaints about price gouging or even scamming - YY does charge more than other places sometimes, but remember she has to pay her shipping fro Japan, her taxes, postage supplies, maybe even fees to wholesalers in Japan as well as her own wage/salary. She has defined her worth and if that means paying a little more to a small business, supporting a family and getting the same authentic items for £5 more than big businesses - I'm 100% fine with that. If you're looking for the cheapest you can possibly get stuff, that's fine go somewhere else. I go to YYKawaii for the customer service (which has been faultless) the cute videos, the interaction with customers and the friendly and fun community, not to save a fiver on a miku figure.

YYKawaii is so professional and such a joy to purchase from. She works so hard running her business and supporting her family. She is nothing but wonderful with you as long as you pay your invoices on time, and if you need more time, more often than not, she is super understanding. She runs this business all on her own, and of course it can get hectic, but the level of professionalism and organization I’ve experienced with her is absolutely top notch. I have never been disappointed with her. I’ve been a customer of hers for years and I have no plans on stopping anytime soon!

I've only bought a few figures from Yykawaii but they've all arrived quickly and damage free. The owner is so lovely and is always willing to help. I will definitely be buying more figures from Yykawaii.

I’ve ordered from yykawaii many times starting this year. She is a one person business and does everything herself. That is very respectable. I’ve gotten all the orders that I’ve ordered from her (that are not pre-orders), within two weeks of ordering. I live in the US and she sends them from the UK.

Now seeing the negative trust pilot reviews, I’ve noticed that people have been saying the price is made more expensive. For people who are complaining about that, I just want you to know that these items are coming all the way from Japan, which obviously makes the price more expensive since if you order directly from Japan, it will cost you $23 for shipping just for a small coaster. I’m Japanese and I’ve tried ordering from other websites and I know the shipping is crazy right now due to covid. She’s probably paying $200+ for each shipping since she’s buying in bulks for everyone. She also needs a source of income, and that’s calculated into the price as well. So you’re paying for her service, some of the shipping from Japan, and your shipping from UK to your country along with your product. I’m sure most of the price raise is from the shipping. Nothing in this world is free.

The seller is extremely kind and hard working. She is very patient even though there are people who don’t pay for their products. I always pay for my products as soon as the invoice is sent, and I have never had a single problem with her. There was just one plushie I really wanted which she never pre-ordered, but again, it’s a one person business. She mentions that she might not be able to get some pre-orders done, in her shop description on her Instagram. She never sent me an invoice for the product either, so I have no problem with it.

When you order, you’ll have to tell her if you want to bulk order in your comments (if you’re ordering from Instagram) and she mentions that on her rules as well. I had my nendobag held for a while and I’m having it shipped with some chocolates soon! She sends you the invoice later when she’s sending it to you.

All the packages sent to me were very neatly packed, and I’m excited for the new one I’m getting soon!

I have purchased multiple times with her! She communicated well and all my invoices has notes as to what items I was paying for. Her attention to detail is greatly appreciated too! I was sent my tracking number and I never had any issues shopping with her! Her prices are higher than other online sellers because it is her and her alone working on everything. She does a phenomenal job running the business. Supporting small businesses over big companies is something I am truly dedicated too. I would so rather spend a bit more to know my money is going to this company and her family than to some CEO so they can buy another house they don’t need. Please consider supporting YYkawaii!!!

you can ask for all of the 5 star reviews you want, but it doesn’t erase those that have had a problem!
a real dishonest company. i have no doubts that the owner is nice in person, (not on social media) but she runs a whole company by herself and it isn’t enough.
it’s a shame, i love supporting small businesses but too many people have their issues swept under the rug, and as soon as you have an issue, you’re blasted on her instagram story; not very professional.
everything listed can be found for a lower price also. so it goes without saying that you’re able to find anything for cheaper on a budget.

i honestly must purchase from yykawaii daily, the service is impeccable, it's so much easier then a proxy (& no horrible inconsistent customs fees!) it can be very difficult to find sanrio items in the uk, but she makes it so easy to get them. the owner is such a lovely person, she's always gotten back to me quickly & is quick to sort any issues/problems, i have nothing but the upmost respect for her as she does all the work herself & is also a mum of two! she's incredible, i recommend yykawaii to everyone.

Yy is brilliant, I’ve used her since 2018 and I can’t recommend her enough. She’s been able to find out of stock items for me and some that came out several years ago, and everything is always done in an efficient and speedy manner. My friends and I will hold off on buying items from other websites simply because yy is so good and we prefer the service we get from her! I have nothing but positive things to say about her 💗

Started using yykawaii this year for sanrio stuff! Great selection and always gets things shipped out on time, never had any problems! My orders have included easily breakable items like glass before and none have arrived broken or anything, which i cant say is the case for other sellers ive used. Overall really good, no complaints!

Yykawaii is excellent! I’ve purchased multiple times with them and every time my items were in perfect condition. I live in the US (east coast), and the shipping costs are extremely reasonable. I absolutely recommend YYKawaii for US residents who need their anime or SB item fixes! Finding cute SB tumblers and anime goodies can be tough to impossible in the states - but YYKawaii makes it easy! :) <3

YYKawaii is my main go-to for anime merch, and she never fails to exceed my expectations, especially since she handles everything by herself! She replies to all of my questions through IG dm, and has such a vast variety of merch. Did a product that you want sell out or it’s hard to get your hands on? YYKawaii will do her ultimate best to help you out to help you get what you need! All invoices are organized, and just like any other transaction, you must also have a part of being responsible to pay for them, especially if you can’t do it in full. She offers this flexibility to help you out as a customer, not to burden you. I will continue buying from her, she’s incredibly amazing.
