This company is not just selling poor-quality products, they are actively exploiting individuals dealing with the emotional and physical challenges of hair loss. My experience was a nightmare of deception, incompetence, and what I consider to be outright theft.
Product Failure
Despite providing precise measurements, the wig I received was "baggy," ill-fitting, and completely unwearable. Within one month and as a wig wearer of several years (20 years +) the hair became an unmanageable, matted clump. Independent hairdressers later confirmed the unit was inherently faulty and beyond repair.
Deceptive "Customer Care"
Their response to a faulty product was to demand an additional £290 to "fix" it. When they finally agreed to an inspection and by this, multiple multiple back and forth a legal action threatened they asked for the wig to be sent back for “inspection”. They kept my wig for 11 weeks with zero communication, even though they promised to message me and have my hair back to me within 7 weeks. They effectively stole both my money and the product.
Legal & Financial Battle
The company’s lack of integrity is most evident in their handling of my refund:
• Dishonesty: They repeatedly lied, claiming Klarna had sided with them.
• Reality: Klarna confirmed via email that the company was in breach of terms and conditions and had violated my legal right to a refund for a faulty item.
• The "Goodwill" Lie: The Managing Director eventually settled, framing it as a "goodwill gesture." Make no mistake: this was a forced legal obligation because they had no defense.
The Bottom Line
After I stood up for my rights, they resorted to blocking me on social media to hide the truth. To target people suffering from hair loss with such disgraceful service and predatory financial tactics is beyond shameful.
Avoid this company at all costs. If you are already in a dispute with them, do not back down—pursue legal action immediately, the financial ombudsman was amazing helping me claim my refund back and gave me the correct legal actions to take.

Although my purchased didn’t suit me or the cap was too big, the overall experience was brilliant.
Really tried to get a wig to me that would suit me or a colour I wanted.
I was sent 2 wigs initially and neither suited or I felt they didnt suit me. I returned them promptly and via special delivery
They contacted me to discuss alternatives and although the quality was fantastic it just don’t fit right on my head and I sadly had to return it.
Sharon rose was brilliant on the communications and dealt with any queries fast. The hair quality was brilliant and I’m just sad they didn’t fit well and they were closer to where I live otherwise I’d have gone to the salon/shop for a consultation

Friendly in salon consultation
We had an in salon consultation today for my daughter. We were met with a selection of different lengths, styles to try and talked through the benefits of each. The unit we chose was styled and fitted and we were told how to do this ourselves along with how to wash and care for the unit. My daughter came away feeling confident and pleased with what she chose. Will definitely be back to purchase a 2nd unit very soon. Thanks again .

I honestly love Zeeelle!!
I honestly love Zeeelle!!! After being diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 33 I was sooooo scared to be losing my hair from chemo etc and when I looked at how much human hair wigs cost, I nearly had a heart attack alongside the cancer 😂 but Zeeelle’s synthetic range is so amazing that you can’t tell the difference! I love that I can leave the house and feel confident and like my old self (with arguably better hair) and don’t have to worry about people looking at me or thinking I’m wearing a wig! I’m so impressed with this company and have 7/8 of their synthetic range to date! Thank you for bringing back my sparkle 🥰
Great quality, service and price
I’ve been wearing wigs for 48 years due to alopecia and have always struggled to find suppliers of good-looking, quality wigs with a reasonable price and good customer service. I’m delighted to say that Zee Elle tick all my boxes. They’re warm, friendly and understanding. The communication was excellent and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I will most definitely be buying from them again and hope to be a loyal customer for many years to come 🙂

’ve purchased three wigs from this company and unfortunately every single one has had issues. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt, but after my latest experience I won’t be buying from them again — and I genuinely urge others to save their money.
My first wig arrived with an orange wig cap where the dye had clearly bled through.
The second wig’s hairline started disappearing after a short time.
With the third wig, they sent the wrong cap size, tried to bluff their way through it, and the whole process was such a fight that I eventually gave up.
To make matters worse, the hair ends up feeling like straw over time, no matter how carefully you care for it or what products you use.
Really disappointing overall. I would not recommend this company.

I sent three emails from about seven am then it’s now just before 5pm I ended up ordering the wig that said human hair costing me about £960.00 but no one has even acknowledged my email I needed this for Friday morning I’ve sent a last email to cancel and refund me but incase someone has a genuine need for a function due to time and end of life I think look else where
I just wanted to update you guys on what has happened so finally and thankfully the lovely Sharon has been sending me emails from about 11 am today and now it’s 1 o’clock thank God we came to some form of resolution in order to get a wig dispatched for the event for tomorrow I must also add as I have been rushed and swamped off my feet trying to make sure things go as smoothly as possible. I did miss at checkout the timeframe for the wig that originally was picked out however, with the prompt responses this morning the team has been very efficient very responsive and found an alternative that thank goodness they could get out to me I wanted to just give you guys a thumbs up as this is what Online shopping is all about. It’s not about the good. It’s about the good the bad resolutions resolving issues and also being as honest hence why I definitely wanted to come back and give you guys the happy ending thank you to the whole team for your patient and understanding the situation
Amazing experience
The quality of the hair feels lovely, even after washing it correctly. I'm so pleased. I've bought 2 wigs so far and each time it's been such a great experience. The wig is sent in lovely packaging. The staff are so helpful with any questions you have, and the aftercare support has been outstanding. SharonRose gave me lots of advice and she's so lovely.

At first I was having issues tracking my purchase. I sent them an email. They were very quick to reply. They helped me with all the tracking there forward. Then after I received my wig.....I seen that it just wasn't going to work out for me. Frey is a hair genie
I was so suprised by the service and the quality is 10/10 at my fitting Frey was so helpful and I was able to try lots of different styles and we found the best colour and length for me I’m definately coming back!
Only starting to get resolved after Trading Standards got involved
I ordered a wig from Zee.elle in September and the experience has been extremely disappointing from start to finish.
The wrong size wig was sent.
After multiple missed dispatch promises, the replacement arrived late, damaged, and faulty (hole in the lace, colour didn’t match, and the box was ripped).
Despite this, the company refused to refund the £10 postage I paid to return the original wrong item.
They also refused to provide a prepaid return label for the faulty replacement, claiming their internal policy meant I had to cover the cost.
Their complaints process on their webpage lists an email address that bounces.
I had to involve Trading Standards, who confirmed that under UK consumer law the company was legally required to cover return postage for a faulty item. Only after quoting this and mentioning ADR did they agree to provide the prepaid label.
Zee.elle trades under Pink Urbit Ltd. Further information about the company, including its filed accounts, is publicly available on Companies House.
I’m now waiting for the return label and refund, though based on my experience so far, I’m not feeling especially confident.

EDIT Fri 10-Oct 2025: The company changed its stance on the return label multiple times overnight before finally issuing one, while still denying the wig was faulty and asking me to remove my review in exchange.
