Zing Energy Reviews 

The engineers at Zing Energy did a great job of installing our solar panels. I would highly recommend them.

Zing energy fitted an air source heat pump, insulation and solar panels into our 400 year old cottage. I did not think we would be eligible but I was surprised to find we were approved as our cottage had no gas supply. Zing were very accommodating when I explained about solar panels having to be fitted to the rear of our home as it’s in a conservation area. I will be honest it was quite difficult living here during the insulation and plastering as it went on for weeks and in the end I did have go and stay elsewhere for a while, as the very late finishes were wearing. However, It has been life changing! Our bills are massively lower and I would recommend an ASHP providing insulation has been fitted.

Absolutely awful from start to finish, no regard for my personal belongings (they lied about putting dust sheets down) and I have photos to prove this...I am still, 2 months later trying to clean my belongings. They left live wire in my lounge!!! Someone came from zing to remove said live wire and fuse box, and put the fusebox into my household waste...(I thought this company were eco friendly?) I wonder how much more of their waste has been put into the bins of the householder....absolutely disgusted with zing and they need looking into

Absolutely brilliant company to deal with. Given a start date and everything ran like clockwork. All the teams were excellent and very helpful throughout the whole installation. Even cleaned up after themselves every day. Definitely recommend Zing Energy to everyone, we’re very happy customers. Thank you Zing and all the contractors involved.

Had a call from Chris the MD & he outlined the project, a couple of problems but nothing earth shattering. Expected an email outlining info' needed & detailing the plans, arrived after 5 days 7 as soon as i raised pertinent questions the wall went up. No reply to emails so i phoned on Wed' 13th am & was told i would hear about funding by ' close of play' no response so phoned again on Friday 15th & was initially told Adam was in a meeting which morphed to he is talking to a colleague & would call back or email with latest information. Here's Hoping

Zing energy fitted solar panels to my house and have failed to send the correct paperwork to my distribution network operator making it impossible for me to claim any small energy generator payments for power fed back to the grid
They have ignored numerous phone calls and emails asking them to sort it out
It would appear they just have to send a simple form called a G98 but have failed to do so.
Absolutely useless service

Dragged out the process and eventually reduced the size of the install. I obtained ECO3 funding but ended paying more fir the kit than initially quoted even through it was reduced.
More importantly the trashed my roof doing a 13 panel install in one day. Managed to get £300 for damage but more has been found that caused leaking. Cost me £ thousands to repair. Steer clear of these people. Now pursuing trade bodies (MSC & NAPIT) and formal complaint before small claims court.

The guys have just finished installing my solar panels. They were an extremely friendly, efficient and competent team. Clean and tidy and very respectful.
Would highly recommend them.

Five stars is not enough for the great team that entered our home and worked extremely hard from start to finish . Polite , took care of our home , cleaned up and explained everything to us . Thank you Zing and the fabulous team . Fully recommend and five extra stars to add to review

Had someone survey the house in December 2022. It's March and no signs of solar panels. Avoid!!!

"The leading energy company in the UK". Well what rubbish that is. You can't get hold of them for starters, then when you do, you get a very friendly response but it doesn't get you anywhere. With other companies you receive a time slot and a call an hour before arrival. Not Zing energy, you are informed of the day and that's it. So you can't plan your day around them. The engineers are friendly and leave your home tidy. They ask you to complete a review form, which you do gladly. You've forgotten the endless time on the phone trying to reach them and give a positive review. Then when there is a problem with the instalment, they are unreachable.
