Huge waste of time constantly spams inbox with apartments outside of search constraints namely budget. Many advertised apartments are also inaccurate.

Zumper blocked me out of my account for no reason. I have booked a showing with an individual for today, now I can't even get back to my account to reply to her. It at first delisted one of my listings, I was worried that someone has access to my account. So I changed the password, then I can't login to my account and the reset password link never sent to my email even I requested several times.

I have been a top contributor to the company, always have good listings on Zumper, provided the best viewing experiences in Toronto. Im confident that Im one of the reason why renters use Zumper and trust it.

I used to deactivate my listings, not completely deleting them from the site. Then I got calls from developers or realtors that they want to buy the properties Im managing. Im not sure if Zumper blocking my account because they can't sell my data to others anymore. Beware, I don't believe we can trust Zumper anymore.

I am trying to screen a new tenant, which I did before using Zumper, but now for some reason they are asking me to verify my identity. I did it and still cannot access reports. Nobody is replying. People paid Zumper to get their reports done but no one has access to these reports. Of course no telephone number to call and talk to a person.

A place where scammers live and thrive.

I would like to know how a place I inquired about within hours of it posting and receiving emails from the person that’s going to show me the property then after I answer that person back I’m immediately told it’s no longer on the market and that my message to them replaying that I would meet them the next day to see property gets sent to that persons achieves? I’m very unhappy right now. So someone somewhere got their lines crossed and I would like an explanation!

Don't do it lol the reviews on here are accurate. You can't trust that site at all.

I had a tenant go through the screening process and next day my tenant had $10,000 stolen from their bank account. Someone within the company is stealing information and money! There is no phone number of emergency way to contact the company.

ZUMPER had home for rent in Central Florida. Set up request for showing with Property Management company on site. I get response next day from 216-245-3163 Ricardo . Very difficult to understand his English. He instructs us to go to the house- no one there to greet us. Lock boxes at the door he can not provide proper code. he tells us to go to back door is open gate to back was locked . called property mgmt company ( national) that subs it out to different property management company local next day. They said its a scam home owned by large investment firm . MY question is how did the con artist get my phone number in this process

I have been making numerous requests & calls to see a rental listing - I never heard anything after leaving 8 messages & when I called the contact number it disconnected after a few rings- I decided to go & see the property to see if was still available & the house posted on the app is a completely different house !!!!

I never expect to find so many negative reviews here about Zumper which is acting EXTREMELY irrationally. Now I can join hundred of unsatisfied customers for Zumper.
I had two listings with them and out of the blue they asked me to identify myself online with the camera. I am not a technological wizard. I was suspicious and multiple times i asked if that identification process was a scam. I tried and tried and the crazy weird system never accepted my photos. Then the kind of lawyer working there asked for utility bills and property deed in order to list both listings. Since the property is rented i am not the one paying the bills. I told them twice and they do not read my emails. I provided copy of the deed and what they did next? They closed my account. I am going to Google and Yelp to report them.
Zillow and other online free rental platforms NEVER acted that way. The government should be notified immediately.

I have had problems back and forth for last few month about my account with Zumper block and delisted and then reinstated by onboard Zendesk and apologized security reason and yesterday again block and deactivated now. I’ve sent all my Driver licence and picture of myself property titles and utilities bills as per requested again. I know Zumper concerns for scam purposes but it be never ever scammed any tenants of mine or others with all my rentals. I can provide all active tenants experience with me as their landlord.name Bennie Ma

Zumper should be investigated then shut down. 😞

I STRONGLY encourage anyone on the site to be hyper-diligent!! It's filled with scammers, it's really sad. I was a victim. If rent appears too good to be true, ex. 3 or 4 bedroom house for $1,025, Google the house address to see if it's for sale or rent anywhere else. Real realtors post on many other sites. If the prices don't match on Zumper then you have your answer.

Zumper is full of scammers who get your information and ask for money!!
This is a terrible site and no way to get in touch with Zumper to verify the scammers!!

Please investigate this site. Too many renters & homeowners are being scammed and it's out of control!!

No follow-up or verification is being done by Zumper.

After almost a year, having my full ID/photo and Property Tax doc (which I am not happy about to hand over), Zumper finally did restore my account after some back and forth. I was locked out again, but they fixed it within hours this time. Thus, I amended my rating higher.

Thank you Zumper for following up and finally resolving the issue.

Have tried to call the listed number and extension to speak with the agent but just rings and rings then disconnects!!! Scam people beware all they are doing is looking for phone, emails and contact information. Do not fill this out unless you want to be bombarded wit BS!!

For months Zumper has black listed me despite never telling me what "community guidelines" have been broken. I hardly do anything online so I wonder what they are referring to - and refuse to tell me. They instead, ask for my personal data such as drivers license, tax bill of my property, my personal data, my photo,...

Still after numerous attempts, they simply ask for more personal data saying I have violated something and yet, they refuse to tell me what, when or how.

Not professional!

Zumper pulled my rental advertisements from other sites to list on their own. I have begun to receive e-mails from prospective tenants looking for a property for rent. I clicked on their message to respond to them and see that Zumper requires me to prove my identity to them, after they stole my ad to post on their site for prospective tenants to pay for an application process. I feel so bad for the people who have requested information on my properties, as I will not be sending my personal ID to who knows where to verify who I am, after I did not post on their site. Maybe Zumper should verify to me who they are. Zumper if you do not trust the information you are stealing from Zillow, Realtor.com, Apartments.com , you should not be posting it!! Shame on YOU!!
