Customer care doesn't get better than this
My husband, who has moderate Alzheimers, went to collect his bike after it had been repaired. At the till, he forgot his pin number, so couldn't pay. Normally, the staff member would have retained the bike until payment could be made. But this staff member, Rhys, was so concerned about how upset my husband was, and how he would get home without a bike, that he paid for the service himself. I only know this as he left me a phone message that evening to say paying had been his choice, and if I wanted to pay him back, fine, but if not,fine too. It was his 22nd birthday that day. I was so moved by his mature care and generosity. If I were his Mum, I would be so oroud. Of course I paid him back, but I have to say, customer service doesn't get better than this. Rhys, you knocked my socks off. Bless you.
