Reluctant to book after reading some reviews but glad I did

I was a bit reluctant to book a Neko health scan after reading the reviews on here, but I am glad I did. The scan was done very efficiently and the results were clearly presented by the doctor. My ECG showed some anomalies which meant that I was referred for an echocardiogram at no additional cost. I was called by a consultant cardiologist who explained their findings clearly and answered all my questions. After the test I have taken some other proactive steps to improve my health.

Abysmal service

I placed an order in early March for broadband for my elderly mother. As she has a care alarm that uses the phone line, we have no choice other than to use BT. I was given a date when the router would be delivered and the service would go live. We waited and nothing was delivered. I called BT and after a long time on hold I was told that the order was cancelled by Openreach. We were not informed. I placed the order again and they said they would call to confirm the modem delivery date and the time the service would go live. I didn't receive a call and had to call back BT and wait on hold again. In total I have spend 3 hours on the phone to BT trying to sort this issue.

Impossible to contact

Once you have a policy it is impossible to get in through to anyone at this company. For certain things you can only contact people by internet chat and the response is extremely slow. For some things you can only speak on the phone, but you can't chat to someone right away, you have to wait at least two working days for them to call you back!!! Avoid this company!

Review over Ecclesiastical Insurance

Leaking pipe not fixed for two weeks

I have home emergency cover as part of my Ecclesiastical home insurance. I have a leak in my flat and which I reported 13 days ago and it has still not been repaired. Water is currently dripping into the property below. Ecclesiastical’s home emergency cover is provided by a separate company called DAS and Ecclesiastical completely wipe their hands of any issues with DAS. I have called both companies multiple times and neither are interested in sorting out our leak. They say they will come over but never keep to the appointments. Avoid both of these companies!

Avoid this company

This company is acting on behalf of my home insurance to provide home emergency cover. It has been well over a week since we reported a leak and they have still have not sent anyone to repair it. We have been given several appointments but nobody shows up and I have to call them to arrange another date; this cycle then repeats. They sent a heating engineer to look at the leak but he said that they should have sent a plumber.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Over one week since we first contacted DAS and they still haven’t fixed our emergency leak. Repeatedly say they are coming but don’t turn up, have stayed in waiting for them multiple times. They are so hopeless that I have zero confidence that they will actually fix the issue properly.

I had to reschedule my theatre tickets…

I had to reschedule my theatre tickets at the last minute as a tested positive for covid-19. Encore responded promptly to my email and gave me a voucher to use for another booking. Having read the reviews on here I was worried it would be difficult but it went very smoothly.

Took money from my account without notifying me

I received a penalty charge notice. I requested transfer of liability so I could could challenge it. Once liability had been transferred, Zipcar paid the PCN anyway and took the money out of my account. They are denying the liability was transferred even though I sent them a copy of the letter confirming the transfer from the council. Every time I have contacted the department that deals with PCNs (which you can only do via email) I get the same copy and paste response saying the council refused to transfer liability. I have called Zipcar and requested to speak to someone twice but no one has called me back. I have been a customer for nearly 10 years (shortly after they launched in London) and have spent thousands of pounds with Zipcar over the years. I am disgusted with they way they treat their customers

Terrible customer service and terrible software

I bought a Sony Bravia TV in late 2018. The Andriod software that the TV runs is appalling. Slow and full of bugs. The processor and network adapter that Sony have used in the TV are poor quality. I have tried to get Sony to fix the issue for the last 9 months. The only reply I get from their "customer service" is "your issue is still under investigation, we will get back to in a week" and this is then repeated once a week for several months.

Great service

Great service. I bought some sunglasses that didn't fit and Sunglasses Shop replaced them no questions asked. They even gave the new ones to me for the same price as they old ones even though they were more expensive. Fast delivery and quick response to emails.
