Car and ferry go together unless you hire from Mode!

Firstly, their price was ok. The initial service was ok. The car had 201,000km on it but it ran fine and looked ok.

We were however, extremely disappointed by their attitude towards us as a customer one we experienced an issue. We believe that they should have known that there was an issue with availability on the Interislander ferry. They should have told us this and could/should have offered us a solution AT THE TIME we picked up the car.

They did none of that.

Whate they did was, tell us that we could off hire early, on the north island (NZ) get a walk on ferry and rehire on the South Island. Oh, and whilst we land at Picton, their closest office to that was Christchurch! So we would have to get there ourselves!

They also advised that we should claim anything lost from our travel insurance.

Fortunately for us, we persisted with Interislander and after two cancellations and much back and forth by phone and turning up at the port, we finally got on a ferry, but this was very stressful to both my wife and I on what should have been a relaxing holiday.

I just took another star away just whilst writing this as it brings back the stressful feeling. Not actually sure that 3 is too many.

Pay and get nothing! Rosa’s Thai Brixton

Brixton Rosa’s Thai. Uber eats. Take your order then decide you are too far away and still take your money. DickTurpin had nothing on Rosa’s Thai. They say they started to cook the meal yet their delivery time was 120min and then tell me that they are keeping my money. Very disappointed with both Rosa’s Thai Brixton and Uber eats. I don’t know if I can use either of them again.

Paying for NOTHING to be delivered

If I could give them less than one, I would. You need a degree in their t&c’s to get everything right. They take your money and then don’t deliver. Rosa’s Thai Brixton and Uber Eats in cahoots to take money and NOT deliver food.
And you get to talk to a BOT and not a real person. I have no idea if there are any real people in Uber eats customer service. I use the phrase ‘Customer Service’ very lightly.

Good, bad and frustrating

The fitter
Excellent service thank you
The initial booking
Failed to collect all the information which delayed the job by 5 days and a 20 minute call back from me on my mobile (chargeable 0800 number) frustrating
The change to the booking
This is where go from bad to totally ridiculous
Off sick and needed to change the booking by 1.5 miles. Add in to the mix that there is another fitting by same organisation on these me day with same day/time slot.
This takes you from one depot in Slough south to another in Slough North and the drivers have been assigned already. We can change it to another day but we can not get the two together. How about you put a note on my job to say at the address has changed? Good job I ought of it as they didn't. However, with a call from the very helpful fitter when he was on the way all was sorted
Very disappointed in the inflexibility of the, I want to put customer service but you would need to find another word for it!!!!!!
