Wrong items delivered returns shocking

After wrong items delivered (not what I ordered) in literally a plastic cover, no tags attached to one of the items so could have been a second hand item, I left a 1 star review as portal to return doesn't work.

I got a response on here and have since had comms directly and the issue was sorted.

Therefore revised my feedback and upped to 4 stars due to that.

The returns portal does need an overhaul but im pleased with the outcome. Thanks.

Definitely a change in ingredients

My husband has been using Evanto oil for years now. Went through about 4 bottles per year. Last 2 bottles purchased simply not the same. Ordered online and took back to a store to query as the oil was more runny in texture and definitely less fragrant. Was told by the store staff that 'maybe a bad batch' they did swap it for me and that was ok. The most recent one I bought him (April) from the store for his birthday was exactly the same. Not the same consistency with the oil and minimal fragrance. We can usually smell this oil all over the house when he wears it. The ingredients have definitely changed which is a shame ashe was a long standing customer of the Evanto. He now has said he won't buy it again.

It's a no from me!

Had a dog insurance policy for over 10 years until I made my first claim. Seems they go by the name of Purely Pets too. After chasing for over 5mths and given every excuse in the book why they hadn't paid the £200, they eventually started ignoring my emails. So, I cancelled my direct debit with my bank and low and behold they make contact.... not to update me on my claim, but to tell me that if I don't pay my policy it gives them permission to drop my claim!! Knowing a bit about law, I questioned how that is as my policy was due for renewal that very month. Forwarda week, the £200 was paid and they themselves cancelled my policy without even telling me. Extremely unprofessional and after being a customer for over 10 years I wouldn't go back and risk their unregulated behaviour. Next step Ombudsman for these.

Go elsewhere, not recommended

It's a no from me!

Where to start.... delivery driver thinks he's Lewis Hamilton at a disco with the volume of music early hours of the morning. Driving like a loonatic onto my cul de sac! Then delivers milk at 2am in the morning so it's either frozen by 7am when brought it if it's winter and in the summer it's on the turn as its been sat there getting on for 6-7 hours. When complaint to Modern Milkman customer services you'll get the generic 'this is a new driver and not one of ours' excuses. Then when you try to cancel your subscription it's like communicating in Russian. You can't cancel it without jumping through hoops and about 10 emails to different people.
Stick to your local old fashioned reliable milk man folks!!

Cash us king when they have no wifi

2 adults, 3 children visited on 31st August this year (on the hottest day if the year). On entering, we were told that the park was at "full capacity" meaning you couldn't pay on arrival as the day was completely sold out. Not an issue for us as we had indeed pre booked.

It was noticeable how busy the park was that day, which isn't a suprise as it was school holidays and Gullivers had a fire work display on that evening (which is why we opted for this day).

After being in the park for a hour or so, I went to purchase a 2 coffees and ice creams for the kids. When I went to pay with my phone (after these were served to me) I was told it was cash only as the pay machines were down. Now luckily for us, one of the kids had brought his spends so I borrowed his £20 note to pay. At dinner time we walked over the cafe to purchase some fries to go with a few wraps I'd brought with us as I knew it was going to be a long day as the fireworks weren't on until 8.30pm. I could see chaos and disgruntled people all over the dining areas and soon got chatting to another mother whoskids couldn't even get a drink as the cash machines were down. It was then I found out that it wasn't just the coffee shop who's machines wifi was down.... it was the whole of the theme park!
Luckily for my children we had a few wraps they could eat, but unfortunately some families didn't bring any food. I actually witnessed 2 small children drinking from the tap in the toilets as there mum hadn't brought any cash so couldn't even get them a bottle of water.
Needless to say, by 6pm my kids were starving hungry and thirsty so we didn't stop for the fireworks. By the look of the car park on leaving it seemed not many did. You'd think on the hottest day of the year Gullivers would have at least given out free bottles of water to their guests who couldn't even purchase drinks fir their children through no fault of there own. Cash is still very much king and id advise any one visiting Gullivers to take cash so this doesn't happen to you!
I have emailed customer service on 6th Sep and received an automated response stating 'they will get back to me within 7 days". It's now 23rd October and still heard nothing, customer service does not exist with this company!

Ordered 5 (got 5 free) definately go a size up as quite small fitting but otherwise nice colours, comfortable breathable material. Customer service were very helpful when emailed to change my sizes. Always a pleasant reply and very helpful 😊

Oil Strength seems to be slipping

Evanto oil has been my dad's go to aftershave oil for a good few years now, I buy it for his birthday every year at a cost of £80. This year's arrive this week, he's wore it once and the smell on this bottle is extremely week. Definitely not the same standard as usual from Sunnamusk.
I have reached out to the online email, had an auto response but now radio silence so looks like I'm being ignored.
Looks like the end of an era not smelling Evanto on my dad if this isn't looked into. Will not purchase again if the standards have dropped. I usually buy Amber Rose but will stop that too if the product ingredients have changed.

Waited 2 hours to leave…avoid these

Waited over 2 hrs to leave Malage airport today (paid for speedy shuttle definitely nothing speedy about it) avoid! Gave up after 2 hours after getting off flight and paid for a taxi to the airport, as did 2 other couples. Never again will I use this service.

Based in China, no refunds offered

Well.... great to begin with, reply to all questions.... until you need to return something!!
First they'll tell you "as it was custom maid" even though you never customised anything so it would be going back exactly as it came, they will then offer you different amounts of money to keep them item (way less than you paid by the way) and after weeks of arguing via email for a return address (which they will never send) they will then tell you that you have missed the returns window. Then they stop replying to your emails all together!
The company is based in China so beware!!

Edit... now asked for order number (which they've had NUMEROUS times and the final outcome is still "we can offer you a £69 refund and you can sell the dress" which btw cost me over £200.
I've actually cut my losses and gave up!

Cancelling you policy is extortion

Happy customer until you have to change your policy (private reg on van) then they charge £45 'admin fee' but you literally did the admin yourself on the portal.
Van was unfortunately scrapped so cancelled my policy 3 months in (after paying £85 per month for 3 months) they they added another admin fee £45 and an unexplained fee of £70.86 (they still could never explain where that was from) then they tell me the 'loan company the insurance is with have to claw back £514... but that's ok he said as you'd be technically refunded the remaining term of the policy so you only have to pay £198 to cancel it!!!' Ha brilliant...well im all paid up and lesson learnt. I will NEVER use Van Direct again in future!

Edit... 2 days after paying the £198 to cancel a 3 mth old policy and now getting texts and emails to tell me I've an outstanding balance of £198 lol.... couldn't make it up!!!

Be CAUTIOUS

Anyone thinking of having new doors fitted do be CAUTIOUS when using Doorz ltd . Had 7 internal linear doors fitted in November (after them cancelling the installation date twice last minute blaming a joiner leaving)

When the fitters did eventually turn up the job took a full day working into the late dark evening as one door they brought was the incorrect size so one of the fitters had to travel back to Leeds to collect a new door. Nice set of fellas tbh and I was very appreciative of them completing every door in one day..... roll on 2 and a half months later, one of the locks in the door failed locking my daughter in her room for nearly 2hrs before we got home.

We dismantled the handle and lock to see it was jammed solid and had to damage the door to get her out (god fobid there was a fire whilst we were away and her home alone!) After contacting them, the reply I got was we should have called their 'after service department' of which I was never made aware of by the way and I'm pretty sure wouldn't have travelled from Leeds on a Sunday evening to come and get my daughter safely out of her room!

The next email I got was "if I was to have more work done by them, they could consider a discount as they do not make any profit on the price of providing the doors". Now, over 2 weeks later, all my emails are being ignored and guess what...I'm removed from being able to comment on their Facebook page 🫣. Bad decision for them really, as I'd already lined up 2 more jobs for them from family and friends which obviously I have now contacted to say do not use this business.

The doors I had fitted were £179 each and extra for treating and removal of the old doors, so it's not like we've paid peanuts for 7 new doors.
At first when you are a new customer looking for estimates, they reply evening and weekend, but once you have a complaint your emails will be ignored.

Any questions from anyone on here, I'm happy to answer and provide screenshots of emails and pictures of the broken lock etc.

Be very CAUTIOUS when using Doors ltd.

Third time ordering.. never again.

Third time ordering... third time waited over 3 weeks for delivery!
Nobody ever gets back to you from customer service, just tells you "your order is being packed" over 3 weeks wait and going on holiday in 3 days so Nobody will be home to take delivery. Told them this twice and STILL no reply.
Will definitely NOT be ordering from them again now.

Issue after issue after issue

My advice is NOT to purchase from Phantom Motors as they conceal problems and once they have your money, after sales service does NOT exist and you will be lucky to get your calls answered.

We had issue after issue after issue. Took car back after having it for only 7 days with knocking sound from wheel. After two different technicians test driving it, they 'couldn't find anything! Air con wasn't working (they sold it knowing it needed regassing, but I imagine hoping it would be summer by the time we put it on and discovererd this) On regassing they found a leak so this needed fixing. Then there was a problem with the tyres (seems they put black alloys on most of their stock but don't rebalance aftwards!) They've had it for over 2 weeks and brought back with lose wheel disc guard, missing bolts all underneath the engine and oil leaking from it. Oh and 173 miles on the clock despite only being 6 miles away from my house! But nobody seems to know why this has happened at Phantom!

Asked for a full refund now and will update on what happens as I'm more than happy to take this further!

They offered a £300 return to let them off with any liability going forward, but a refund now requested as I don't trust a thing they say!

Practically have to do their jobs for…

Practically have to do their jobs for them. I've submitted evidence online but they CANNOT prove childs father is indeed in full-time work! Here's a thought, call the business themselves and ask or even better look through HMRC!!! ABSOLUTELY USELESS AND NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! They guy online couldn't answer my questions so hung up!! Highly unprofessional I hope it was recorded for 'training purposes'
