I signed up to watch a specific show, but they only have the last 3 series! False advertising!

I was watching a specific series on Amazon Video, for months, then it became chargeable. I joined up to watch this specific series because it would be much cheaper! I checked the NowTV many times before joining. Once I signed up and paid, I was extremely disappointed to learn they only had the last 3 series on their platform. You can only check the exact content after signing up and paying. They advertise as if they have the whole series available with instant access! Because it was 'cancel anytime' , I requested a refund and cancellation within minutes of realizing this. The bot/chat function wasnt working that evening, so aware of the 14 day cooling off period, I tried to cancel 4 days later. The person on the chat said I was in 12 month minimum contract, no cooling off period, cos I accepted all the conditions! This is complete rubbish! A customer can change their mind within the 14 day cooling off period,and get a full refund. It's the law! They sent me an automated email a few days later, citing the same rubbish! I've been charged a second month and contacted them again last Wednesday, and someone higher up was supposd to contact me with a solution. I have not heard anything back! The chat bot is a complete waste of time. I would prefer to speak to a human being in the customer service department. I have not watched or logged in to the platform because none of the other content appeals o me. Reading all the other negative reviews, I believe that NOWTV to be scammers, and would advise anyone to keep clear of this company!

Algarve Test dropped off in Portimao, all went smoothly

I dropped off the Algarve return PCR Test at the Dropbox, which is not a DropBox in Portimao on Saturday morning. I walked past the Dropbox the day before to ensure it was the correct place and to check the closing time when I saw a green Randox Health A-board inside the closed door after hours.

The Dropbox location is inside Aqua Labs, and there is a green A-Board to indicate this. You need to go inside to hand in your test sample at the counter! Do not use the post boxes outside because they belong to the apartments upstairs!!!

Although your map of the Dropboxes in the Algarve is extensive, it does not feature the closing times for Portimao.

This Dropbox location is next to Tranquilidade, off the roundabout and more or less opposite the swimming pool, or Piscina. It is also the nearest one for people staying at the Praia da Rocha area.

I got my result less than 24 hours later, very fast and efficient, thank you, and was fit to fly home.

Ryanair flight from Southend yesterday

We took a Ryanair flight from Southend to Faro yesterday. About 20 minutes into the flight, we went through a hailstorm and although it was noisy, it seemed normal. We were then informed there were cracks in the glass in the cockpit, and we would fly to Stansted to swap into another airplane to continue our flight to Faro.
It took over 2 hours to find another plane, swap hold luggage, board, refuel and get a departure slot.
I found the whole experience was very well thought out and well coordinated. The crew and all the groundstaff involved got on with their tasks.
Well done Ryanair in fixing the problem and getting me to Faro and not just cancelling on me.

fast and efficient service

I'm very happy with my experience and customer journey. My test results were emailed to me this afternoon and I'm clear to travel tomorow.

I've booked flights 3x in the last 12mts, only for the airline to cancel for one reason or another. So I've had the swab tests at home for a while, all in date of course. The requirement to take a PCR test within 72 hours of departure is very challenging. Do the test too early, in time for the tests to be collected from the Dropbox, and the test is too old for departure. Do it too late, and there's a risk the test result comes through too late for the flight. I tried to call the helpline for guidance on this, what is the timing tolerance for the swab test? Naturally, I was on hold for at least half an hour and in the end gave up.

I found the Randox Health website is very informative and easy to navigate, it has all the drop boxes on a map and a picture of almost each Dropbox to help you find it. Would be helpful if there were more in East London and Essex.

I did my pre-departure PCR swab test yesterday morning and dropped it off to my nearest Dropbox which is 17 miles away. I received a confirming email this morning to say it got to the lab. At around 1pm I received the email to confirm my negative status.

Our plane was early so had to wait for…

Our plane was early so had to wait for the other passengers to arrive. Once we were ready to go, the journey was fine. We had two stops to drop off other passengers. Got to see the scenery and other hotels on the way to our destination.
I have used Holidaytaxis many times before and really recommend it.
