I saw your hygienist yesterday and I cannot praise her highly enough. She completely put me at my ease. I have an absolute fear of having my teeth scraped etc but I can honestly say that she was fantastic. Thank you ❤️

Poor Quality

Nothing went wrong, the photo frames are of quite poor quality. I’m going to have to buy replacements from QD Stores of a very similar price but not cheap looking. Disappointed tbh

I ordered a book on the 13 January

To date, I haven’t received my book. It could be due to our brave postal workers withdrawing their labour and its piled up in a warehouse with thousands of other items or another reason.

Either way - I’m not impressed.

Rude and Arrogant shop assistant

I’ve read several of the reviews, in particular the experiences regarding customer service which makes me feel slightly better about the way I was spoken to by an aggressive, very loud, angry, bossy, disrespectful, (quite clearly untrained in any form of customer service) arrogant blonde female in Lloyds Pharmacy in SAINSBURY’S, CORNARD ROAD, SUDBURY, SUFFOLK. (7 December 2021 at approximately 1pm). She was so unbelievably rude. And to make matters worse, having attempted to verbally and emotionally abuse me (I only wanted some paracetamol) she then laid into the female customer behind me who looked really shocked). I did explain to the lady that the vile creature was particularly vicious.

Excellent Quality

Our bed linen was delivered very quickly. The quality of the bedding is first class and makes for very comfortable sleeping. It also looks terrific. I will definitely be ordering more.

Things are getting better!

I originally gave 3 stars as I ordered and received my first pair of shoes from Ego pretty quickly and I absolutely love them. However, I ordered 3 more pairs on 21 June and one more pair on the 23 June. The 21 June order is showing as being processed even though delivery was given as 2-3 days Royal Mail so they're quite clearly late, the 23 June order isn’t even showing as ordered. I emailed customer service and was surprised that reply turnaround is four days (which is longer than the promised delivery time). I’m really anxious to receive my orders as they are such great shoes.

Dear Ego Management team: please sort out your deliveries and make yourselves available to answer queries - preferably by telephone. Thank you.

UPDATE: 4 stars now! I’m happy to report that one order arrived yesterday and took five days to deliver which is good news. I had a very polite email response as well saying that one of the three pairs from my other earlier order was no longer available and asked if I would like a refund or credit. I suspect that the combined order has been held up because of one pair not being available.

Great paint as ever - not so good UPS

Great paint as ever, but I’m not impressed with UPS, this is the second time that I’ve ordered on line and UPS were the carrier. I had an email (both times) advising next day delivery between 8.30am and 1pm. No delivery. I was surprised at the alleged speed of delivery and then disappointed that it didn’t arrive. Wasted mornings waiting. Tracking was not available. Both times it arrived two or three days later (which is fine) and left at the bottom of the drive without notification of delivery. Just sitting there. Not fine. This is the last time that I order on line. Sorry but UPS isn’t any good. Hermes are far superior.

Rude and arrogant shop assistant

A few weeks ago I called into the pharmacy in Solar Supermarket in Halstead, Essex. I asked for a packet of paracetamol with codeine. The assistant told me that they didn’t have any. I saw a box behind her (as I looked through the plastic Covid screen) and asked what the contents of the box I could see where. She said that they were soluble paracetamol/codeine. I asked for details about them (for instance, strength) and the assistant told me that they were ‘WHAT IT SAID ON THE BOX”. Given that I couldn’t read the details from the other side of the counter and through the screen, this was a very unhelpful and rude response. I wrote to the Company and have left it this long waiting for a response. It seems that rudeness runs right through to the top and is quite clearly tolerated. Incidentally the non-assistant failed to ask me if I was on any other medication or warn me of the danger of taking them with any other products containing paracetamol. This woman, is luckily in the minority of shop assistants who feel superior to their employers’ customers. I will never shop in a Wells pharmacy again. BTW I would have given a zero star rating if it was possible.

I regularly order my contacts from…

I regularly order my contacts from Lenstore as it’s straightforward and fast. They cost a little more than if I picked them up from the nearest opticians but taking into consideration time, fuel and parking it’s worth it, plus it takes three or four days for them to arrive at Specsavers.
