Upsetting experience
I was queuing in the reception to upgrade my room as another costumer in front of me is requesting another room. His air conditioning is working and the receptionist tells him there are two rooms available and that she will show those two for him to choose from.
As it is my turn I request a new room as the air is really bad and stuffy and the room is quite cold and dark. The door to the bath room isn’t working and there’s no heating. I was also woken up by sounds from the room above me.
But the receptionist looks at me and tells me that the hotel is fully booked. I’ve just heard the opposite as they were speaking very loudly in front of me. But the insists that there are no rooms available. She then turns to the other costumer to follow them up to two apparently unavailable rooms to choose from. Very upsetting. Feels very much like discrimination. Disappointing.
