They terminated my agent partner ship without any reason and when I asked they didn’t thought it important to give me an answer

The site is okay for creative ideas, but as far as community is concerned, very biased and some rules are not enforced. Curarion system isn't really effective, and the certificates are only valid as long as you keep a subscription. If you decide to no longer stay subscribed, you lose all of your published work and certifications. The forums are cult-like.

He estado con esta gente desde 2012. Al principio era un sitio bonito y ordenado donde podías aprender. Después, con el paso de loa años y los sucesivos equipos, se ha convertido en un sitio degenerado, tan elitista como inútil, asi :
A través de sus brechas en ciberseguridad, me han robado cientos de euros de los beneficios por ellos obtenidos a través de la venta de mis fotos en sus páginas afines.

El jurado de curadores, no entiende nada de lo que ve, ni de arte ni de nada.

La página es complejísima de utilizar, hasta el aburrimiento.

Todos los buenos fotógrafos han migrado a 100asa.com, mucho mejor, mucho más barata y mucho menos estúpida y elitista.

1x = un sitio horrible para cualquier fotógrafo.

Jamás volveré a 1x, y me quedaré siempre en 100asa.com, una página de auténtica calidad de gente racional que sabe lo que hace.

It is more or less impossible to delete your account at 1X.com once you are in and have posted photos.

It must illegal.

I have many times written to Rolf Stelander and 1X.com about this issue. But it is completely ignored. It must be illegal that members have no possibility to delete their account on 1X.

There's some great work on 1x.com. Every “published” image has excellent technical quality. Many obviously took a great deal of time, preparation, patience, artistic sensibility, skill and even money to produce. There is creativity and cleverness, top drawer material with obvious commercial value.

Sadly, 1x has become largely AI-driven. And, as a result, it has become all but impossible to get any image published that doesn’t neatly fit with the AI algorithm. If your work is mostly street photography, you would be better served not wasting your $$ attempting to be published here. As a photographer who has successfully published well over 100 images of various subjects on 1x, I can tell you street images rarely make it past the AI barrier. And it’s largely AI now—despite what some at 1x might say to the contrary. Oh, of course the “expert curators” will throw the occasional bone, correcting what the Member curators (read: AI) got wrong. And they will decide to publish an image that should’ve never been rejected in the first place. Personally, I will not sacrifice my own creative vision simply to successfully publish images that pleases the AI bots. So long, 1x. It was nice while it was real and driven by people not AI.

For consumers looking to buy a print, 1x.com is a good spot. The prices are decent, service is ok and the products are generally well-made. But for you photographers who have contributed your images, 1x.com is basically a scam. Your pictures are the only thing enabling 1x to sell their products, which is what they care about. Without you they are nothing. In return for your beautiful work, you are paid peanuts and the embarrassingly tiny payments are delayed for as long as 1x thinks they can get away with it. You are being used and actually being made to pay for it. The fine print is not easily accessible - you will have some unpleasant surprises. This is a cynical murky business model right up there with sweat shops and similar abuses. Many photographers join for reasons of ego or just to have their work online if they don't have a website. If it's worth it to you, fine. But once you've sold one of your images here for pennies, it's going to be tough to ever sell it for what it's actually worth - you are helping to cheapen photography by signing on with these people. 1x.com is a twisted modern version of film-era stock photography which is intended solely to help 1x to sell prints of other people's work, without fairly compensating them.
