Contacted 21* 4 weeks ago as heating system had failed and not working. Sent several emails and left phone messages without any response. Sadly will never use again. Annual service was okay but no report left or received since

We’re also sorry to hear you didn’t receive a service report following your annual maintenance. That isn’t the standard we aim for.

I took out a 7 year maintenance…

I took out a 7 year maintenance contract in about 2018. Every year the previous two versions of this company came in October to service my heat pumps. In 2024 they didn’t turn up - said they sent an email to arrange to come, got no reply and then did nothing. I was away sailing for a year and I didn’t spot that they hadn’t been. I didn’t hear anything from them throughout 2025. In January 2026 I realised they hadn’t been in 2025, and on checking back they hadn’t been in 2024. So paid for 7 years maintenance in advance and for no reason at all didn’t fulfill their contractual obligation until I chased them several times, coming in Feb 2026, after no maintenance for almost 2 and a half years.
At best the whole process was mid managed, at worst it’s just avoiding doing work they’ve already been paid for.
No problem with the work that was eventually done - the guy that came to do the work was great.
Probably not a great idea to then mither me for a review.

We appreciate you acknowledging the quality of the work once it was completed, and we’ll pass on your kind words to the engineer who carried out the service. However, that doesn’t negate the fact that the lack of follow-up and communication over that period was unacceptable.

Highly recommended

Very professional, courteous team all round. In spite of a few challenges with the house footprint, the installation team (Szymon, Brian,Kris, Guy & Dave)worked through the issues & were extremely helpful in making sure I was happy with the final outcome. Would certainly recommend

Fantastic product and experience

Great communication through the design process. A daunting amount of components arrive but the instructions very quickly put you at ease with everything fitting together beautifully. I also managed to lose my instructions so reached out to see if by any chance they were still on record and had them in my inbox within 10 minutes. Great service and a friendly team!

Solar `Panels and Tesla Powerwall Installation

We had solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3 installed by 21 Degrees and the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. They later returned December 25 to install a second battery as well, and it was just as smooth and professional.

What really stood out was the people. Every member of staff we dealt with went the extra mile — knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and clearly proud of the work they do. They took time to explain everything properly, answered all our questions patiently and made what could have been a complex project feel straightforward and well-managed. A special call out for Natalie J., who consistently went the extra mile. Thank you.

Everything has been very reliable and has worked exactly as expected. The installation was neat, efficient, and clearly done to a high standard. Communication throughout was excellent, timelines were met and there were no surprises.

It’s rare to find a company where the technical quality and the customer service are both this good. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 21 Degrees to anyone considering solar or battery storage.

Great service call

The company has changed hands since they installed our Heat Pump in 2021, but the latest annual service was the best yet.
The engineer was helpful and friendly and made a few settings changes which will save me a few quid each year.

Replacement windows in period property

We wanted replacement doors and windows for our C17th house that would be sensitive to a character property, yet deliver very low U values (All their products are trpple glazed). We also wanted a design and install service. Having researched the market for this type of product, we decided that 21 Degrees was the only company to meet our criteria. They have been a pleasure to deal with, especially around snagging and post-sales support. If you value quality above price, this is probably the company for you.

Slow to respond - unsatisfied customer

Booked to investigate a fault on our heat pump and had a service at the same time which wasn’t cheap! The Engineer could not find a fault with the heat pump but it failed again the following day. 21 degrees took a week to respond by which time we’d lost faith in them and used someone else to diagnose and repair the heat pump which turned out to be a common and easy to diagnose issue.
I wouldn’t use them again.

Outstanding After Sales Service for MVHR

Outstanding after sales service, thank you! 🤩 Our MVHR unit developed an error code after a couple of years. A temperature sensor was showing as faulty. The office support team were great and Richard/Rick the engineer rang and talked us through his thoughts about what might be causing it. (A corroded wire since that side of the unit is exposed to the incoming elements.) He explained how to remove the front panel, access the sensor, check/repair the wire and generally give an internal clean up. He was spot on with his advice and I was able to get the unit back up and running without an engineer call out. He did also offer to talk us through the process in real time on the phone, if we needed it. What a total star!

Excellent response time and service.

Response time, diagnosis and fix were excellent. Our air source heat pump decided to stop working overnight. 21 degrees provided a 1st class service and within a couple of hours of contacting them the fault was identified and fixed.

Heat Pump and UFH

We used 21 Degrees for our heat pump installation and underfloor heating connection. They did exactly what they promised, stuck to the timelines, and met every expectation.
There were a few issues during the process absolutely normal due to the complexity of the work, but they fixed everything quickly and professionally, making the whole process stress free.

Tom, Josh, Matt, Dan, Alfie and Charlie were all brilliant — skilled, friendly, and easy to have around.
Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely use them again in the future.

Good but poor organisation in ordering

Windows seem very high quality but terrible organisation in the ordering process. We ended up with windows with completely different glazing bar configurations. Although this was shown on the quote it was far from obvious as each window is on a different page. 21 should really be checking and providing some elevations or even just summary picture of windows beside each other to avoid such a mistake in the future.

Expensive!

Engineer was excellent although couldn’t clean out the capsule as he doesn’t carry the seals, (so just drained the water), spent 1 hour 45 minutes checking etc. so roughly works out at £100/hour so extremely expensive for a local company! Will be looking at more competitive rates next year!
