75 attempts to get a part!!!
I was reluctant to write a review, as I do not like to leave a bad review, when anybody can have an off day. However, having read all their reviews, I can only agree in my experience. I 1st tried to find a part for my car on 4/5/21. I have applied for a quote approximately every other day, to no avail. 5 months @ 15 times per month is 75 tries to find a not uncommon part. Nevertheless, today has been the last straw. I tried, again, to place an order for the part, only to be told by the system that I had misquoted my e-mail address, which was untrue. The e-mail address was exactly the same as I had always used. When I again confirmed this, the system informed me that I had also quoted an incorrect telephone number; this again, was untrue, as the number that I gave was again, exactly the same as I had always given, which had always been previously accepted. Maybe 247 Spares are tired of my repeated attempts to secure a part for my vehicle, but I will no longer waste my time trying to do so. I may not have described the part correctly, but surely after 75 attempts to get a part, if I was doing something wrong, I would have been notified along the lines of "incorrect part quoted". However, from reading the reviews here, maybe I should count myself lucky that they were unable to find me a part, thereby saving me a lot of time and expense! I will try locally; I doubt if it will take nearly 6 months for a part to be found!!
