Subscribed for 6 years on and off. Tried to resubscribe and they charged me but I couldn't access any of the content. Thankfully able to get a refund through Google play as their customer service hasn't responded.
This is a shame as the content was great but looking through recent experiences, this glitch has been present for a while and the developers haven't fixed it therefore the app is now just a scam.

They literally have been charging me for 4+ years and (1) Didn't once email me (2) I deleted the app 4 years ago but I was still being charged (3) Changed my credit card and still getting charged.
I would like a full refund for the 4 years, not 2021but 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.

I was an Aaptiv customer for 3 years... and then when I decided to not renew, I had NO success reaching a human customer service representative to confirm cancellation. I assume the fact that I wasn't charged that I was cancelled, but their business practices have clearly gone downhill. Sending out auto-ticket emails but not having staff ready to respond to this tickets makes me happier that I have left Aaptiv. If they try to charge my card, I will dispute and submit an official complaint.

I am an Elite member. They dropped Lifetime from their network without notice, charged my monthly fees, and have not responded to my support ticket despite multiple reminders and requests. This company is scam.

Do not use Aaptiv! This company is an absolute scam. Do not sign up! So far I’ve been scammed out of $234. I lost access to almost all my gyms weeks ago and they have refused to respond on all means of communication (multiple emails, Instagram messages public and private, the contact us form, the live chat which is now broken, and disconnected or direct to voicemail phone lines). They also raked in a big customer base at a rate of $164 a month and then have increased everyone to $234 after only being a paying customer for a couple of months. Then they’ve lost partnerships with Lifetime and other gyms but want you to pay more. I am at a loss at what to do besides cancel and be out all my money.

Customer service is awful. Due to a glitch my memberships at the gyms have been cancelled and it says I’m ineligible even though I was charged this month for an elite membership. I have been trying to get this resolved for a week now and I’m unable to get anyone on the phone, they don’t respond to emails and the responses I get take days and haven’t fixed the problem. So frustrating, especially for a service this expensive.

Customer service takes too long to respond. Membership glitches. Please know that you never speak to a live person. AND IT TAKES DAYS BEFORE YOU GET A RESPONSE ON CRITICAL ISSUES!
I subscribe to stretch lab and I booked my sessions for Dec 2024. Stretch lab canceled my sessions saying my subscription was cancelled. Aaptiv took the payment out Nov 13, 2024 so why is stretch lab saying I am canceled!

I signed up due to the cost savings compared to having a gym membership at Lifetime. I had to go through the hassle of canceling my Lifetime membership so that I could get an Aaptiv membership, and as soon as I signed up, a week later they emailed saying they were raising prices by 35% which is actually insane. This cost more than my orginial gym membership. I still liked the other studios and that they had Lifetime as well so I decided maybe it'll be worth it. However, after I renewed, I found out Lifetime is actually no longer an option with Aaptiv as of November 1st which is not something that was shared at all. At this point the price increase definetly is NOT worth it which is annoying since I canceled my orignal membership at Lifetime and NOW there is a waitlist so I can't even join again. This seems like a bait and switch from Aaptiv and I will be canceling my membership immediately and never returning.

I have begun an Aaptiv elite tier membership 4 days ago. Two days later, I received a notification that the monthly fee will increase 35%. No.
Is this an across the board increase or are they targeting new members with a bait and switch?
Received messsge from Blue365 associated with BlueCross that you can join Aaptiv and it’s 19500+ gyms. There web site states they partipate with Elite membership to my local Lifetime fitness. However Lifetime has no knowledge of them. So before committing to a monthly fee, reached out to Aaptiv for clarification. Seems only email communication available. After multiple messsged and requests for information, it became clear that they weren’t reading my messsges and simply sending back bot type questions without reading or addressing my simple question. Is Lifetime fitness part of their network in Florham Park NJ? If i can’t get a direct answer to such a simple question, it’s clear that that are in my opinion a scam or incompetent, Woukd avoid consistent with other reviews! Disappointing!

I liked their app, but their new workout programs weren't great so I found an app that was a better fit for me. I cancelled my account two months ago, to the point where I couldn't get in anymore. This morning I woke up to a nice surprise where they tried to charge me for the annual subscription. I verified that my account didn't even exist on the app anymore and contacted them. They immediately reversed the charges. My guess is that as most people don't watch their budget as close as I do, they do this and get away with every year, shadily collecting money without people stopping them. . Due to this, I would not recommend this app to anyone going forward.

They have been auto-charging me for 3 years without sending an email.. that is so sketchy. I haven't been using their app for years. I just happened to see it on my statement this time. Totally ridiculous.

Avoid at all costs! I tried their site for a while and then did not renew in August 2021. They have taken money from my account today (14 AUGUST 2022) despite me telling them that I am not a member and I do not want to resubscribe. Getting involved with them could cost you USD100 a year … AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

They auto renewed my subscription without sending any kind of reminder email. This is very shady practice and probably how they make their money since the app isn’t that good.i contacted the company They were very kind and knowledgeable and great with follow up!
