Pay my Toyota credit card
I want to pay my Toyota credit card account. System will not allow me to do so - either logging in or thru the “easy” method. This is not the first time this has happened. Their systems are very outdated and do not respond to customer needs. IT dept needs to be reorganized.
Paid off and closed my VS card today
Paid off and closed my VS card today. These people are insane. You try to call them and you can’t get anyone on the line but when your payment is due they harass!! I mean harass, calls 5 minutes apart constantly.
Comenity is gleefully evil
Paid off my Children's Place credit card, yet Comenity insists I have an outstanding balance. After calls and appeals with receipts and documents, they illegally charge me wrongly. Comenity is simply evil.
Covenity Bank Fraud
I paid off a balance and closed a credit card account. I open a new credit card with them and they moved the balance from the old credit card account to the new credit card account. They were extremely rude and disrespectful to me.
I contacted the bank regulators and file a complaint with them.

They don’t want you to pay off your credit card
I have a $2,600 line of credit. I paid off my bill of $2,300 4 business days ago. It said I had $2,500 of credit. I tried to make a purchase of $500, and they put a fraud hold on it. I got that ridiculous hold lifted and made a purchase for $100. That went through, and then I tried to make a purchase of $20 and was told insufficient funds. The customer service guy said I made a “huge” credit card balance payment of $2,300 and it was still processing. Well why did a payment go through after I got the ridiculous fraud suspension lifted? Apparently paying off your credit card is bad. It is suspicious. Purchasing anything over $100 is suspicious. I am sad I ever did business with this company. I have never missed a payment. Chase and Bank of America are 100x better and do not hold your credit card payments and available credit hostage.
This company is horrible
This company is horrible. I would never recommend them, their customer service is terrible and incredibly rude. I have had a SONY VISA card for well over 20 years with no issues whatsoever, once this card was purchased by Comenity Bank that all changed. A subsidiary of Bread Financial, Comenity Bank is terrible, so do yourself a favor and give your business to a real bank.
Worst sight I have ever experienced
Worst sight I have ever experienced. I will cancel my credit card that I have to pay through Bread Financial.
Horrible!!
Robbed!
Ive had this credit card through Carters kids clothing store for a couple of years now. In April I spent $28.06 and "apparently" paid it TWO days late, and they charged me $28.06 interestttt. I got a new bill today and I had a balance of $30.06!!!! IN WHAT WORLD.!!?
Straight up SCAMMERS!
Scamming fees after account paid in FULL
In April 2026 I had a remaining balance listed as $25.13. I was thrilled to log on & make that *final* payment in May. Today I receive a call saying I own another almost $60 because I was TWO DAYS late & I have a new remaining balance. The card hasn't been used in ages. So there is now a charge at over 150% what the ending balance was when I made the payment on the 1st? I even reviewed statements to confirm. Respectfully, no, thank you. The last 6 months of payments are all on time or early save for 1 & for that I paid the massive late fee without issue. On top of that, why are they calling me on a Sunday, why were payments going through on a Sunday, when they always claim only business days for them to be applied? Rhetorical questions. Sus.
Making payments on the web or the ap have always been a horrible pain, which is why I tended to make the payment even before the 1st. So I had customer service call ME (6 days past my normal due date, mind you) to demand payment. I declined. He said he could remove the late fee but then I still had a remaining balance. A remaining what, now? No. So, HE sends me to the supervisor. I wasn't even a crazy lady asking. This supervisor must get told off plenty because she came in hot and ready to scold me like I was a toddler having a tantrum. Ahem, I am an adult saying no and asking to be heard, but that wasn't an option, apparently. Was I irate? Absolutely!! They just pooped on my excitement of finally paying off a card!! She started the lecture and then told me off about interrupting her. I didn't need her to explain to me why they were attempting to steal another $60 from me, I understood their scam. I informed her I would not be spoken to in that way, she continued to yell and told me to have a good day. Was I supposed to call back? Beg? Perhaps I do not know the proper way to be scammed.
After my 'thank you, bye!' I hung up and got my statements in order. I had a balance that I PAID. I have since sent them the information with a formal request to close the account and payment for their fraud would not be paid.
Stay away if you can!
NEVER DO BUSINESS
This company has the worst customer service. They offer promotional plans but then make it impossible to properly pay them off so you end up paying outrageous interest charges. BUYER BEWARE.
Predatory company and the worst credit card
The B&H Payboo Credit Card issued by Comenity has been one of the worst credit card experiences we've had. Despite making our payments ahead of time, we were still charged hefty late fees. They also offer a product called "Account Assure," which charges fees based on your outstanding balance and, in our experience, provides little value.
Between the unexpected fees, confusing billing practices, and questionable add-on products, the company's practices feel predatory and designed to generate additional revenue from customers rather than provide a positive customer experience. Overall, this card has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend the B&H Payboo Credit Card to others.
Deceitful & refuses to listen to you
My ex-husband had AAA credit card for years. They sold their credit service to Comenity. When he received a new card, he read the reviews & immediately called & cancelled his account. Someone, I am assuming that worked there, took his info & started using the card with his name on it. They lived in NY. He has never been to NY, he has lived his entire life on the west coast. He wasn't receiving a statement, the person must have asked for paperless billing, charged up an enormous bill & then my ex finally started getting letters that he was past due. He notified them & explained everything of his circumstances. They refused to work with him. He did his own research, found out where the criminal lived & the places they used the card was within a few blocks of their apartment. Comedity still refused to help him. It took months & help from his local bank to get it straightened out. This bank is the worst. I just did business with Big O Tire, they would not allow me to read the small print when putting my purchase on an interest free plan. The bank they use is Comenity, which I wasn't told abt & their interest charge is 35.99% if you do not pay it off by the end of the term, CHARGED from day one of the purchase. I took a loan immediately from my bank to pay them off & get them out of my life. Beware. And it is difficult to speak with anyone there.

If I could give this ZERO stars I would. (1) unexpected monthly fees if I don’t go paperless, (2) A hefty charge for paying over the phone, (3) lousy website to pay on-line having to jump through many hoops and long disclosures (a red flag?) to pay on line. Shame on Sephora for using this company, which makes me not want to shop there any longer. And I certainly won’t be using this credit card ever again! Thanks to all the brainiacs at Comenity and Sephora for setting this up.
I sure wish I had read these reviews…
… before I opened up a Comenity-issued medical credit card (Aphaeon), so hopefully sharing my experience here will help others avoid the same mistake. TL;DR: "Buyer Beware," and make sure you understand the business model of Comenity and other banks like them.
Background: I've been faithfully paying down my monthly minimum balance a week ahead of it’s due date using my Visa debit card. The last time I made a phone payment, my card was inexplicably declined--even though the agent who took my card provided me with a reference/confirmation number, and I had over $6900 available in my account (other payments went through both before and since without issue).
It wasn't until FIFTEEN DAYS days after my card was declined (and eleven days after my payment was due) that I received an email from Comenity notifying me that my payment hadn't gone through. This email was sent by Comenity on a Sunday, and I read it the following day. At first, I was stunned that Comenity didn't notify me the moment my card was declined, as any reputable bank would. But then, of course, I remembered that Comenity doesn't make money if everyone makes their minimum payments on time.
I called customer service to ask if they would consider waiving the late fee and was treated dismissively by a first-line agent, so I asked to speak with a supervisor (let's call her "Dorothy"), who informed me that they had tried to reach me 21 times via phone over the last several days. Indeed, over the weekend, I had received dozens of phone calls from various numbers that my caller ID had tagged as "potential spam" or "unknown." Needless to say, I didn't pick up, and the caller(s) didn't leave messages. But even if they had, their attempts to reach me occurred long after my card had been declined and the late fee posted to my account.
Dorothy proceeded to lecture me that 1) it's my responsibility to confirm the following day that my payments go through even if there was absolutely no reason to think they hadn't (ummm, Dorothy, do YOU verify within 24 hours that every single credit or debit card payment you make hasn't been declined? Like many/most people, I review ALL my payments on ALL my accounts at the same time each month), and 2) I need to answer my phone, even on weekends, and even when caller ID warns you that the calls are not legit.
Dorothy also falsely stated that I can't use my HSA debit card pay down debt for medical procedures--which tells me that 1) at least one manager there is totally uninformed and delivering inaccurate information to customers, and 2) Comenity is out of touch with Alphaeon reps, who have been more than happy to put all my monthly payments on my HSA debit card.
While I'm guessing Comenity isn't technically violating banking rules, this whole experience has made it abundantly clear that Comenity doesn't want/need the business of people who pay down their monthly balances on time--otherwise I'm sure they would have waived the finance charge as a one-time courtesy in order to maintain me as a customer.
Final note: for those of you who may be thinking about taking out a credit card so you can spread out your HSA payments over time as funds are deposited into your account, don't bother with the medical credit card... I've learned that you can reimburse yourself for medical procedures (or in this case, medical debt) at ANY time in the future, as long as you have the funds in your HSA account and keep detailed records. I just now paid down my Comenity balance in full, and will never again pay another cent to banks that prey off consumers who are underinsured and/or can't afford to pay their medical bills.
Wont stop spamming my phone
Wont stop spamming my phone, I have never been to comenity bank.
Misrepresentation as to rewards
Got a AAA Visa card from Comenity. It says I get 5% on gas purchases. Then realized I'm only getting 1% when I buy gas at BJ's Fuel. BJ's Fuel is obviously a gas station and is entirely separate from the store. I understand that if the offer applied to groceries they wouldn't know if I bought groceries or something else in the store but from BJ's Fuel I could only be buying gasoline, same as any other gas station. They paid me 1% instead of 5%. What a rip off and misrepresentation.
Worst customer service- worst service…
Worst customer service- worst service overall. If you can close this account, the better. If you want to try it, don't. First, I can't get into my account- they did nothing. Out of my account on delinquent twice, even if already paid. Their agents are completely useless and lack quality service.
