WELL SAME TAXI DRIVER HAS BEEN CONNIN ME SAYIN TO ME TAXI FARE 14 POUNDS FROM SARRENS HEAD TO MINE WHERE OTHER DRIVERS BEEN CHARGEIN ME THE RIGHT RATES BUT THIS ONE HAS BEEN TAKEING ADVANGE WITH SOME ONE LIKE ME WITH LEARNING DIFFILCITYS 14 TO 16 POUNDS ALOT DECUSTING WHAT HE IS DOIN TO ME GREEN HAT HE WEARS DARK BEARED

I spend over £300 on a monthly basis with this firm my bank statements can proof this. The taxis drivers are not the problem it’s the controllers , all calls are recorded so the owner should listen to every call I’ve made and will understand that it’s the controller with the attitude. They are rude they try to put words into your mouth. When I asked who the governor is I was told it was a male I need to speak to and he is in every morning from 9.30 however, when I called to complain and also request him to listen to all my calls that way he would hear the appalling attitude from staff, instead I was lied to by a female who stated she was the manager, when actually she was one of the controllers that I was going to complain about . I simply stated that I was told the owner is a male she then accused me of being sexist and put the phone down on me . Don’t use them you be better off with a Uber or value cars at least you won’t get abused. ( oh thanks for replying even though it should be the owner replying not you as my complaint was about you!!! thanks for showing the world that I was right in regards to your attitude yes Uber & value cars will have my custom. Let’s just correct certain things as I see you are upset I put a complaint about you on Google and on here i did make you aware I was going to do so!!! first of all I use you mon-Friday 6min drive away from my home for school run ONLY!!! 2 I find it hilarious that you admit that I spend hugh amounts with A&B but STILL had to scoop low and lie about not paying drivers what a sad life you have. I don’t think your unemployable anywhere else therefore you sit in a cab station sad with your life and take you dirty attitude out on good paying customers. Please check all their negative reviews etc complaint about attitude from STAFF if I was your governor I’d get rid of you as your like a bad smell to his business

I would like to complain about your service
On Saturday evening the 9th July around 11.30pm a friend of mine who is disabled and has learning difficulties was left stranded in Basildon by your taxi firm because you were "fully booked". No while I understand this is a busy period for you it's disgusting that you leave a vulnerable female adult on the streets by herself. She will NOT be using your company anymore.

This is getting ridiculous I use the app and it says 11 minutes I get a ping saying it's on its way then check the app a few minutes later and it says searching for a taxi and I'm waiting at least 40 minutes the other day and it happened today and it's now been 30 minutes it's getting to the point I'm not gonna use them anymore

Without a doubt the worst service around. booked taxi at beginning of day to be told at my pickuptime that they have no taxi and tjey have to cancel my ride leaving me stranded notice given was 8 hours from pickup

Avoid at all costs couldnt car less the impact it has on you or the situation they leave you in .
Will never be using these again

Useless service!
Called after driver was 20 minutes late. Was told it’ll be another 20 minutes at least.
Customer service told me her “shift had only started 10 minutes ago so couldn’t tell me anything, except there’s only 3 drivers working”.
Cancelled booking immediately after ending my call, app deleted! Waste of time and effort!

Considering the competition in the taxi trade now, you really need to improve your service!

I would mark them as a zero if it were possible but it isn’t so I will mark them as a one.

Downloaded their app, booked a trip and then got a call saying that they had to cancel my booking as they were fully booked. I enquired as to why the app had confirmed my booking if they had no availability. The incredibly unhelpful woman told me it was because I had booked through the app and not rung and spoke to someone. I then got an email minutes later saying “We are sorry that you cancelled your booking”. I didn’t cancel my booking they did.

Why have an app if it is not linked to your availability and why be so incredibly rude if the issue is your fault?

We were told by the operators that our taxi would be with us in 10 minutes as we were getting a train. However we had a 35 min wait as they told us the incorrect time and our driver was still completing other drop offs.

I use A & B taxis regularly for trips to the airport as well as locally and they are reliable, on time and drivers are always good at following covid protocol. I'd recommend them without hesitation

Was told I would have a car on twenty minutes for a trip to the train station, planned my journey around this accordingly. Was then told when I called back after twenty five minutes it would be five to ten minutes. Okay not great service but I can deal with a simple mistake. Called back after another 15 minutes as I have now missed my train and you have gone out of your way to ruin my plans for the evening. Not even dispatched yet. That's a joke of a scheduling service. You run a business not a drug dealing operation so give accurate times for crying out loud, you seem to think we should all plan around you. I've been your customer for 8 years but think it's time to switch to value cars as this is just the worst service

I was hit by the taxi driver as he reversed into me, hurting my arm in the process. All he had a cheek to say back was “that’s why you shouldn’t walk behind the taxi” no apology or anything. As a driver you should always check behind you to see if there’s anyone behind you. It’s part of the law of driving. I had just gotten out of the taxi I couldn’t even get past or get out of the way in time. He had his window down and didn’t even check behind him.
Rude driver and he should lose his license! Blaming a passenger for his poor driving skills!

I’ve never had problems in the past, as most drivers wait until it’s clear before they reverse!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Called up at 8am this morning to book a taxi into work, which is a 10 minute journey.

Apparently this was much too difficult for a taxi company, who managed to completely screw it up. Taxi BK65 was me walking over to his car and he still decided to pick other people up instead of myself WHO HAD ORDERED THE TAXI. Then when I called up the office lied and said it hadn’t been booked at all.

Honestly I wouldn’t even recommend this company to someone I don’t like.

I’ll be using LITERALLY any other company from now on! Also so will my whole family and friends.

Very efficient service from East Midlands Airport. Website booking a breeze with instant acknowledgement of a fixed price pick up. Driver turned up on time … very friendly, very professional. Smooth, safe drive to destination. Would definitely use A&B again and fully recommend to anyone looking for a professional East Midlands Airport pick-up

I had an A&B taxi driver named Craig tonight who has taken me home from work. Just wanted to say that he provided outstanding service and is a credit to both himself and the company. So open minded, made me feel comfortable and customer service above and beyond. Thanks Craig!

Awful customer service, was stranded at a house party when the driver of our taxi turned up with a 4 seater, despite being requested 6 seats. He then refused to take 4 and come back for 2, leaving us to deal with the company on the phone at quarter to midnight. Do not book A&B.

Truly dreadful service...avoid this company. They happily left an elderly gentleman in a strange town despite him booking what he thought was a confirmed taxi an hour earlier. The taxi finally arrived 45mins late. This company make you pay in advance for this priveledge ....AVOID!

Shocking service! Book a taxi with 14 hours notice for a pick up, only to receive a phone call just 2 minutes before the pick to be told that there are no taxis available. Obviously a company that are willing to leave people stranded in the middle of the night. I will not use them again.

Booked a return journey to Stansted Airport and was very impressed with the service. Cars arrived punctually both times and were spotlessly clean. Drivers were polite, helpful and competent. This was the first time we used this service but it certainly won’t be the last.

Always on time- very friendly drivers, always up for a chat, always use them, wouldn’t go with anyone else
