1. Nice variety of courses aimed at all levels
2. Regularly updated
3. They share all useful files (pdf, assets, code etc).
4. Some of the modules focus on architecture and modular structure and developing systems that talk to each other and optimization. These are super useful after you learn the basics.

5. A few weak areas where others like udemy (and maybe godot specialists like gdquest) score are
5.1. Not much on scratch and Roblox. At first glance seems to be leaning heavily towards unreal, unity and now a lot of Godot with 80 modules as of today and regularly growing.

5.2. Shaders and vfx and sfx - not many videos

5.3. Artwork using tools like magica voxel, gimp, aseprite, blender etc is not a strong area. I guess the focus has been on game development and less on design

5.4. Developing game design documents is not there

5.5. If I am a new developer then I struggle to put the pieces together, e.g if I want to use the fire vfx from one video, card system from another video, etc then integrating them becomes super difficult because each course follows its own folder structure. Some have scenes files in root folder while others have scenes as a separate folder and so on. Zenva might consider that for future changes.

5.6. I've also noticed that videos that were created long time back (long from an IT aging and obsolescence perspective) tend to be a bit fast for beginners but later videos by the same teacher are very detailed and helpful. This is a big help especially for newbies. Maybe Zenva might consider that in future changes.

5.7 A few godot modules in C# do not have equivalent videos in gdscript. It's like a teacher talking in Mandarin when you are trying to learn French.
Maybe Zenva can do some work here as the games are pretty interesting. As of now I have to use an AI tool to translate C# to gdscript which is a bit painful.

Overall, I love Zenva and I would continue with them as long as I am learning these topics.

It's good but Price is too high for some country . Please adjust plan accordingly to the country. Otherwise it's a 5 star.

It was great to start with and when it first came out with the integrated extension that could also read more than just the code, it was the best. However, three things happened:
Other AI's caught up and could generate reasonable gd script.
The integrated zenva provided hints no better then the updated AI's .
Zenva charged for its service ... No longer free after using us to help train the AI.
I got good enough that I didn't need a lot of such help.
The other AI's provided explanations for its ideas and suggestions,zenva didn't.
So, adding it up, I don't use it anymore.

I give it 4 stars because it was so excellent to begin with. But not useful anymore.

Great video course's, helped me explore my coding language foundations as I figure out which language I want to go further with.

i think the interface of the browser need a little bit of changes.
1. the chosen subtitle will automatically return to no subtitle for the next lesson.
2. the panel on the left side(lesson tree) and right side panel(file, note or AI tutor) will always revert to default size when next lesson.

so i have to tune it every time when i jump to next lesson.
default browser = safari

Zenva is easy to navigate and the courses are thoughtfully laid out

I have been trying to cancel my subscription for 10 days and I get a survey about why I cancelled but the subscription never really cancels. This is a scam company.

Tutorials are so easy to follow. The instructor also went back and updated some content after acknowledging that Unreal Engine had changed some stuff.

Excellent course material. Exactly what I wanted, a collection of work that is focused to help me escape Youtube tutorial hell. Love the instructors and human (non-ai) content.

Just finished Godot 101 watch out world!

I like the content and the teaching approach.
As someone who isn’t particularly gifted as a ‘programmer’, I found the course easy to understand and very motivating.
Incidentally, I’m particularly interested in topics relating to programming in Python.

As a game developer in Korea who loves studying new things, I was initially hesitant about whether Zenva would be a good choice. However, all my doubts completely disappeared! I was surprised to see that the course is kept up to date with the latest version, and it even offers subtitles in so many different languages. The quality of the course is excellent. If you are a beginner, you don't even need to hesitate—I highly recommend it!

Right now Im learning all about Godot and the courses are great. I especially like Daniel Buckleys lessons. I think it is very important for beginners not only to show us what to do but explaining us why and how is this thing working the way it works.
I would really love a Godot Course about popular mechanics in videogames (double jump, wall climbing, parrying, etc)

The website is very easy to use and the course content is well-structured, making it easy to understand what the instructor is teaching.

Ease of learning Python. I never thought this was a new way to use Python as a graphic editor for making graphs. I was able to learn this topic and apply it. The price for yearly subscription makes it a good choice.

I absolutely love the courses on Zenva, courses support multiple ways of learning, the course files and PDF's are truly great as I sometimes prefer to just read and do. Video courses are at a nice pace and I can adjust the speed if I need to. Great selection of courses. I went from Godot to unreal and now focusing on Unity, I would love to see more intermediate and advanced Unity courses, perfecting shaders and particles, adding effects to really make games standout and look like professional published courses, but everything is there to learn and go above just the basics which are hard to find on any other platform. thank you.
