I really like the video experience. The teacher says enough explanation to understand, but not too much to get bogged down in pedantic details.

I've just completed the Godot Inventory course, and found it to be excellent. Well paced, interesting demo material and clear, pertinent vocal tuition. I was able to, not only build an Inventory, but, better yet, understand how it works and how to go further, with expansion into my own Projects. Time well spent; many thanks to all concerned.

I 100% recommend this course for any one who wants tp learn game development of any kind and want to get a job

The lessons are clear and easy to follow.

Well-organized courses with easy to understand narration and comfortable progression. Course notes, source code, and quizzes. Easy to use. Courses are updated as new game engines are released. Recommended.

This website has so many courses which are helping me create an amazing game with Godot 4.
Thanks for having courses that have helped me create basic games.
I do have a problem with each Godot course being 50 bucks, because I don't want to pay $50 for one course, however I would be willing to pay that much for all the courses to make one game.

The tutorials seem to be updated to give you some guidance in the new versions of unity, and godot. At least those are the ones I have tried so far. Enjoying my time with this and bought the lifetime subscription! Have recommended this to others already!

I wanted to start building a game, chose Godot and Zenva was recommended on a youtube video so I checked it out and it hasn't disappointed. I literally had zero experience of what to do, so it's really good that they have course literally just to explain how to navigate the engine and then how things work ect. Now having finished entry level course and beginners course, getting through the mini degree is the next step and all at my own pace which is needed.
Really happy I started - we all start somewhere.
Zenva is really good.

Nice slow paced intro to the Unreal engine.

Truly the courses are worth your resources, don't hurt to try.
Me and fellows have learnt what we can from the likes of YT, Mr. Sal aka KhanAcademy, codecamp and many alike.

We tried courses esp. on gaming engines but content (productive/ useful) is less and with clear cut explanation and practical is few and far between.

So, guys Merry XMAS from me & boys to the ZENVA family.

I'm following the Unreal courses. You guys are doing great so far. If I may make a request; keep making beginner friendly courses for different classic game types, just like you've been doing. One huge request; I'd like a course on making a Dead Space-like

I got a bundle of courses from a Humble Bundle, on the topic of introductory courses for Godot, Unity, and Unreal engine.

I just finished the first Godot course in the learning path and am very pleasantly surprised how high quality the videos and platform are, from the instructor's narration, explanations, and thoughtful course planning to the platform's QoL features such as closed captioning and a lesson summary for every video, as well as providing the files the instructor used in the project. There are very short 3-to-4-question quizzes after some of the videos which I don't particularly look forward to but am glad were there to make sure I was getting the right stuff out of the video.

It's like the best parts of learning on YouTube, but without the self-promotion, ads, and other nonsense. The instructor was engaging and easy to listen to, providing valuable insight professionally while maintaining an upbeat and lighthearted atmosphere (even tackling topics of computer science without it becoming tedious or boring or too complex).

I was also impressed they seemed to update the course material when Godot got an update from 4.4 to 4.5.

I watched each video in 1080p and never experienced any buffering delays. I also never experienced technical difficulties with the site, and navigation was easy and intuitive (helped further by the website also giving concise hints to help new users navigate).

Overall a great experience and I can't wait to continue with more courses.

The handful of tutorials that I have had the opportunity to try so far have been clear, fun, and have had spectacular pacing. Many other tutorials have issues with either going too quickly and I get lost, or too slowly and it gets boring. Pacing is A+ for me personally.

How to improve - more advanced topics, more quizzes.

The service provided by Zenva is worth every penny I've paid, it has taught me more things and quicker than what I could've done on my own in the same amount of time without it.

I'm actually learning how to code and understanding the process, as well.

In short, I'm really glad that Zenvas' Godot courses exist, since they're one of the few sources that cover Godot programming beyond the "What is a Node, a Scene and a Resource" stage.
I don't think the courses are exceptional, but imo they don't need to be. If you have only a couple of months worth of experience with Godot, they fill in the role of a friend who has maybe one or two years of experience, who brings you up to speed on how to do simple things.
So, definitely a solid basis, if you're just starting out, but I really wish they'd cover advanced topics, like enemy/NPC AI, import systems for more content heavy games, terrain + level design, boss fights, maybe they could even make a whole course on how to do a more complex character/combat system that requires a lot of animations? Just to name a bunch of topics they don't cover.
My other point of criticism is the price point. Just my opinion, for a site this successful, they asking for too much money, for courses that aren't that long. If I didn't get them as a Humble Bundle, I propably wouldn't paid so much money for it.
(Also I don't like that they use Kenney assets for everything, for heavens sake, hire an actual 3D artist/animator with all the money you're raking in :P)

This teacher has a burning passion for teaching; they are very precise and on point. Very soothing voice and great course structure. I am learning a lot and I am very thankful! 5 Stars, Highly recommended!
