Actual Tuition Reviews

I would definitely recommend Hemang as a maths tutor! He supported me throughout both my GCSEs and A levels and was always friendly, patient and supportive. He was very approachable, so I always felt comfortable asking questions about anything I didn’t understand, and he would explain things clearly until I felt confident.

He also gave me lots of useful tricks and techniques that made difficult topics much easier to understand and remember. He was extremely flexible around my schedule and always prioritised my lessons during exam periods when I needed extra support and preparation. His encouragement and dedication really helped me become more confident in maths. I’m very grateful for all his help throughout my GCSEs and A levels and would highly recommend Hemang to anyone looking for a great maths tutor!

Hemang has been an excellent tutor for A level physics, maths, further maths and tmua. He has helped me get predicted A*A*A* and cover all year 1 and 2 content for each subject in only a few months, he is the best tutor I have had definitely recommended.

Hemang is the best tutor I have ever had. He manages to adapt his teaching methods to a way that fits each student. He is incredibly patient, kind, fun and encouraging which made the entire A-level process easy and enjoyable! I could not recommend actual tuition enough!!!

This is genuinely the best tutoring experience I have ever had. The tutors are able to explain concepts in ways that is actually understandable and personally relate it to you to make it clear and rememberable. As time passes you develop a system which helps you as you study. They helped me reach substantial results which even I never expected. The tutors truly care about you, provide motivation and make the academic experience much more enjoyable. The tutors seem more as your friends rather than teachers and you feel the support that they provide.

Hemang has been a great tutor supporting my daughter with her GCSE exams in Maths and Physics. Christina has managed to get herself familiar with concepts she was unsure before and improve her self confidence and marks the past few months.

We have had a fantastic experience with Actual Tuition. The service is very professional, friendly and approachable, with regular and helpful feedback. Hemung from Actual Tuition connected us with Michelle, who is an amazing and inspiring teacher.

Before starting tuition my son was a very reluctant maths student, but now he understands the topics covered in his school lessons, loves his sessions with Michelle, and flies through his homework. I specifically asked Michelle to make maths fun and relevant for him, and she has absolutely succeeded.

Michelle is thorough in her lesson planning and genuinely loves seeing my son succeed at school. We regularly share the topics being covered in class, and she adapts her lessons to align perfectly with and support the school curriculum. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend Actual Tuition and Michelle in particular.

Hemang was absolutely amazing. He was patient, supportive and sharp when answering questions. He gave me tailored advice to bump my grades up and they did in fact go up. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great tutor.

Hemang has been brilliant tutoring my son Aidan for Maths and Physics GCSE. He lacked confidence in the subjects and being in a class with boisterous boys, sometimes he felt lost and unable to keep up. We are so happy in how much he has progressed. He has grown up so much in confidence and is predicted very good grades.

Hemang did a great job at listening to our needs and finding just the right match in Aahan to tutor my daughter for her Maths exam, we are eagerly awaiting the Maths results and feel sure that the help Hemang and Aahan have both given my daughter, she will have done the best she could do.
Aahan was encouraging and patient, always sparing time for a chat to put my daughter at ease.

Hemang has been tutoring my son for maths and Further Maths since last year and has been very supportive and helpful. My son absolutely loves his way of teaching and mentoring too. He is also helping him to for the TMUA by refining his approach to answering such questions. He’s very approachable and always happy to work together! I would 100% recommend him!

Hemang has been the most supportive, considerate, and motivating tutor, guiding me through IB HL Physics and AA HL Maths with strategy and patience. His friendly and charismatic approach made me look forward to every lesson, and working with him has been the most impactful and rewarding commitment in my academic journey. He made even the toughest concepts not only manageable but genuinely enjoyable to learn. I cannot recommend Hemang enough to anyone seeking not just a brilliant tutor, but also a mentor who truly cares about their students’ success :)

I have no words to describe how amazing Hemang is! My daughter started having Maths tutoring for her A levels and her confidence and knowledge has soar dramatically! She absolutely loves her lessons as Hemang is quite chatty and bubbly which makes it easier to learn.
Thank you so much for all your hard work and for believing in her.

Hemang always helped me get back on track with both maths and physics when it was difficult to balance both. He explains things in a way my teachers could never.

Hemang really helped me with understanding concepts in physics and further maths. Our lessons were always well structured and I always left the session feeling like I have learnt something new. Our work would always ve accessible to me as revision material which was very useful. Hemang is a very kind and sweet tutor, which helped me a lot throughout my A-level exams!

Hemang has really helped me to understand maths and further maths rather than just memorising formula. His explanation of the topics (alongside the logic)has really helped me to answer questions in both A-level contexts and TMUA/MAT questions with the most efficient approach. He really makes learning Maths and Further Maths an enjoyable journey which has me buzzing for the next lesson. Would most definitely recommend for anyone who needs guidance in Maths and Further Maths.

Hemang was a great tutor for me in Further Maths, even though I found it really difficult, he broke it down and explained really well. Highly recommend

Great lessons, 1 hour a week made maths and further maths so easy and really helped my understanding. Would definitely recommend, pushed me to the very top level to get 2A*s and very enjoyable too

Hemang taught me my entire maths A level .. within a year I went from a U to an A* all thanks to him !! He makes learning so much simpler and v enjoyable !! I 100% recommend !!!!

Hemang made physics so easy to learn helping me grow as a student and helping me perform better and better in physics each week, super nice guy aswell! Looked forward to each lesson.

I've been using Actual Tuition for the past few years. Firstly for my oldest daughter to support her Maths and Science GSCE and now for my youngest daughter currently in year 10.

Great personalised service both Hemang and Tutors took time to understand my daughters needs.

My youngest daughter has processing issues and takes longer to digest and understand information. Her confidence has grown significantly since starting tutoring. Her tutor is wonderfully patient and breaks down problems for her to understand easily.

My oldest daughter who struggled with math's went from an ungraded in her math mock exam to a 5 in her GSCEs. I just wish I'd reached out to Actual Tuition sooner.
