Actual Tuition Reviews

My son is having A-level Maths lessons with Rish. He is enjoying the lessons and his grades have gone up and up. Hemang spent some time with us initially and thought Rish would be the best match for my Son, as he is studying Economics at degree level, which is what my son wants to do. It has worked out very well, my son communicates with Rish, who has been flexible the few times we have needed to change sessions and my son finds the support invaluable. Thanks very much!

Finding a company that offers a personalised approach was initially challenging and time-consuming. Actual Tuitions stands out as a company where Hemang, the founder, personally knows all of his tutors — unlike many platforms that provide a database of tutors without direct knowledge of those they recommend.
Before our first lesson, we had a detailed consultation with Hemang to discuss our specific needs, ensuring we found the right tutor for my daughter. We are now working with James to prepare for GCSE Maths, and she is enjoying her lessons. I am confident that, with his support, she will achieve an excellent result in her exams.

Both my son and daughter have Hemang tutoring them math and physics, they both love their lessons, not only learning has took place but also good influence and friendship has grown. We appreciate Hemang’s support very much!

I have been using Actual Tuition for over a year, and I can confidently say I wouldn’t be where I am now without Neusha’s support. She has a remarkable ability to break down complex concepts into manageable, easy-to-understand chunks. Additionally, she regularly tests my active recall and exam techniques, which has significantly improved my understanding and performance.

As someone with dyslexia, I’ve found these weekly sessions incredibly beneficial for staying on top of schoolwork. Whether it’s getting ahead of the syllabus or revisiting challenging topics, Neusha’s guidance has been instrumental in helping me achieve my best grades.

I highly recommend Actual Tuition to anyone looking for tailored, effective support in their studies.

I searched hard to find a tutor that was suitable and able to support and engage my neurodivergent and complex daughter. Hemang created a safe space for her to be herself which she doesn’t do around many people. He is currently guiding her through her GSCE maths with patience, understanding and is slowly becoming an excellent role model and someone she looks up too.

Due to issues at their school, both my boys needed extra support in Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-Level. As a parent, I’ve found Hemang to be an excellent tutor. He transformed their attitude from being indifferent towards their subjects and studies in general to becoming engaged learners who exceeded their potential. Additionally, lesson organisation has been easy, and communication about their progress has been flawless

Hemang was an excellent tutor who helped me through year 11 to get a grade 9.

I was tutored in A-level Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Throughout my A-level journey, my tutors (Unami, Lily & Hemang) always made sure I understood the content and how to apply it to exam questions. They helped me achieve the grades I needed to get into my first choice university. I would highly recommend Actual Tuition to anyone looking for a dedicated, friendly and genuinely awesome tutor/s :)

Hemang is an exceptional tutor. Who has supported my daughter Rhea from day 1. He made sure she was comfortable and happy with the teaching method. He has always supported her, guided her and been there for her throughout her A-Level Physics journey. An amazing tutor!

James C has been a very valuable physics tutor. In a short span we managed to cover some difficult topics whilst making sure I understood them.

My daughter has been working with Lily on A level chemistry for 2 months now. In such a short space of time her confidence and knowledge has increased and importantly her feeling towards chemistry are much more positive. We aim to continue the tuition to help her through her 2nd year of studies. Thank you to Hemang for connecting us to Lily and for the easy of organisation. We are having a really positive experience and would recommend to anyone.

Really good teaching technique that has helped me a lot in Maths in recent months. Would definitely recommend!

Hemang has tutored me for a year now, in that short space of time, I did not believe that it would be possible for me to make such huge strides in my grades, for Physics and Maths. Thanks to Hemang I have a found a new interest and passion in Physics, a subject which I once despised, now something that I have the ambition to study for A level and possibly further beyond. None of this would have been possible without Hemang and his unwavering support to help me in my GCSE studies and I cannot thank him enough for his incredible work; he simply is the best and I would highly recommend him to you.

Hemang has been invaluable for me in year 13. I started out just needing help with one module of the Further Maths A-Level, but found I was able to approach him with questions in any part of the course. He is extremely knowledgeable and his teaching style shows that he understands concepts right down to the fundamentals. He was always able to break down tricky problems for me and help me to understand them better. Thank you so much Hemang!

Amazing tutors who helped me to focus on my weak areas in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. The sessions are very productive with explaining concept and also exam questions to test understanding. They have also been supportive with making past paper schedules to help me revise. Genuinely feel like I have a better understanding of all three subjects thanks to the tutors.

Hemang has been brilliantly supporting both my children through their maths and sciences GCSE’s, my eldest who has been diagnosed with processing issues and dyscalcular passed maths and combined science well, despite above issues. My youngest is doing really well and I hope will do just as well. He is kind, inspirational. He’s engages on their level, makes it fun, my kids didn’t like to miss sessions with him, and that is a rivew in itself. Both girls and boys will thrive under his tutelage.

So much of tailored support was given and the sessions are very interactive. Always available to help with any questions I had and if I didn’t understand anything then it was carefully explained again. Would definitely recommend!

When I picked my initial A levels, history and classical civilisation were chosen out of love for the subjects, and maths because I thought it was a good to do. For the first 6 months I regretted this choice and disliked maths. My school said that I would be very lucky to get a B. I feel so fortunate to have found Hemang and Actual Tuition, and he completely changed my A level experience. His weekly tutorials quickly turned into sessions that I looked forward to, and my understanding and progress took off. For me, a student who has always found maths boring and tough, to genuinely enjoyed these lessons still amazes me. As my A level exams began to dawn, maths revision became a respite from other study, and I managed to achieve an A* at A Levels, the best grade of any of my subjects. I would have never dreamed of, yet alone obtained, this grade without Hemang and Actual Tuition’s wonderful support. Hemang, though his cheerful, engaging and highly knowledgeable approach has completely changed my outlook on maths, I can’t thank you enough.

Actual Tuition provided me a tutoring service like no other. The sessions were the perfect blend of productivity and enjoyment which were done thanks to the help of my tutor and his methods of teaching. Overall I have no complaints about the tutoring and I can’t not recommend it to any student in need of a little support in school.

Hemang taught both my sons through GCSE & A levels. He engaged well with them and they both enjoyed his lessons. Hemang always replied to my messages promptly and the monthly feedback was very informative. Hemang clearly has a passion in enabling his students to reach their full potential. Highly recommend him!
