Berated by customer service for no reason

Ordered a gasket and oil filter that appeared "in stock" which still hadn't shipped after 5 days. Found what I needed elsewhere which would be here far sooner and tried to cancel my order only to be met with hostility and getting berated whilst being told I'd have to pay a 20% restocking fee for something that hasn't even shipped. Any established business should have at least a miniscule amount of respect for their customers but there was none to be had here. Stay far away from this company.

Avoid like the plague

Ordered an item - to ship in 1-2 business days. By the end of the 3rd day they still had not shipped. When queried they were full of attitude and alluded to un-posted notices regarding items on hand. I disagreed and stated that if it did not ship by day 4, I wanted the order cancelled. Without directly responding until afterward, they immediately did a cancellation but also sent a rude, derogatory email telling me I could no longer order from them and that my email had been blocked. The swearing, misrepresentation and attitude of the so called customer service is right up there with the scum I encountered in my years of dealing with my country's enemies; if I lived in Chatsworth, CA, I would happily visit them to see if they cared to repeat their derisive comments to my face.

Terrible Customer Service

I placed an order from this site, both of the parts I ordered said they were in stock and would ship in 1-3 days but after about a week I never received my shipping email. I got online to check it out and one of my parts showed as back ordered and the other was not in stock yet but would be there in one day however they would not ship it for a couple more weeks when the back ordered part arrived. I email them to see what’s going on and the customer service person told me it was a mistake on their site and I asked if they could send the stuff that was now there in stock and send the back ordered part whenever it arrived. The response I got was pretty surprising, the person was rude and accused me of trying to get free stuff. The customer service was extremely unprofessional and rude as if I was talking to a child, I have no idea what’s going on with this company but it’s beyond poor service. Below is the response I got from their customer service rep:

“Now we know everyone wants everything free, but the free shipping offer applies to orders over $99. If you would like us to make 2 shipments, do the right thing and pay the $8.50.

We can cancel the order if any of this does not work for you - it's not a negotiation, not a discussion on what the "right thing" or "cool" is in your opinion.”

I have ordered from them in the past and never had anyone act like this so maybe it’s just a bad apple employee but I had to share the response they sent me. There’s lots of options for ordering parts and customers don’t need to be talked to like this for asking them to correct a mistake. I was planning on just waiting for my order if they would not take care of it for me but after this response I had to just cancel my order. I would make sure you pay with something like PayPal so you don’t have to give them your credit card info.
Again I have ordered from them before (it was a couple years ago) and I had no issues so I didn’t expect this from them but it’s also the first time they made a mistake and I needed to contact them and this is the result I got.

Ordered a bolt

Ordered a bolt. Mind you its a bolt. On the website said shipped in 5 to 7 business days. This was the only reason i used them. Then after a week went by. The order status had Not changed. So i cancelled the order. The owner got on my email and told me not to buy from him again. What a joke for a company. If your reading this save your self the hassle and use a different company. Hopefully i can save u the headache

Horrible customer service ordered on…

Horrible customer service ordered on June 18 they day check back mid next week for an eta, I check back they say nothing yet and to check back again mid next week. I check back again and they proceed to tell me to stop asking since thats not going to make it come any quicker. You tell me twice to check back and when I do they get bothered and I commented on their lack of professionalism. I spend close to $1000 and then you canceled my order because me asking you for an eta bothered you. Never shopping here again

Ordered two parts for my kawasaki 700…

Ordered two parts for my kawasaki 700 kfx ,waited over a month due to back order...was told it would ship out literally 2 weeks ago from today 6/6/2021...I call ...I seem to never get an answer...although website states 24/7...smh. I have left 3 messages only to get a phone call 1 week and 1 day later,in which the lady told me what the the website read,in which I could see on my end🙄(not helpful)..I was inquiring abt why it still had not been shipped out as promised on backorder stated ship out date PER kawasaki,...she then replied I need to check and call you back.😡😤..So 3 days later after no call back I emailed yet again a total of 4 emails ,and THEY DECIDED TO CANCEL MY ORDER FOR ME,BECAUSE IN MY EMAIL I STATED HOW FRUSTRATED I WAS WITHOUT EVEN CONSIDERING TO ASK OR EXHAUST ANY OTHER OPTIONS, MAKING THIS A WASTE OF TIME ALL TOGETHER. IM EXTREMELY FURIOUS AND THINK THIS COMPANY IS A HOAX...I WILL BE ALSO ATTACHING SCREENSHOTS OF THE IGNORANT WAY I WAS SPOKEN TO AS A CUSTOMER.SEEMS THE FOCUS WAS MORE ON MY FRUSTRATION AND NOT BEING APOLOGETIC FOR THE WAIT,FAILED EXCUSES ETC.

NOT A REAL COMPANY..
DO NOT WASTE TIME NOR YOUR MONEY!!!

VERY POOR CUST. SERVICES, RUDE, NO APOLOGIES, NO THANK YOU.

I wanted to close my online account when we first created it to log in. regardless if we order as guests or signed in and placed an order.

Below is how they sounded and responded to me. Not a single response with an apology or a thank you.

Cust.Svc.- The 2 orders we have under this email address were both placed as a guest, so there is no account on our website. We do not store any personal information (i.e. credit card), all we have is your email address, and your address, which is obviously something we need to fill an order.

You can always order again as a guest.

How is it possible that there's no account under my name?
If I can sign in and log in, that mean I have created an account. Even the website says creat an account to log in. Therefore I have an account and I was just trying to find a way to close it.

Your website doesn't give us customer any options to close our account. It only let us change our emails address etc.etc. but not close account.

I don't know if anyone of you have gone through your website and created an account and try to close it or not, but you guys should do it so you know what we are talking about and how to fix this issues.

Please let me know how to proceed.

Cust.Svc.- We don't even know what you mean by saying "close the account". There is no account as you put it. We don't close "accounts". It's not a thing.

Once again, you placed the orders as a guest, so there is no account for them. If you then went and created an account, that's fine, all the information we have is your email with that account. We don't have any other information, hence not sure what it is you want us to close. Just don't use it and consider it non existent.

Buyer beware

I ordered two parts for my motorcycle I went an email customer service and asked if they have warranty on their parts they responded very rudely and said we don’t have warranty on our OEM parts but it’s if it’s defective we will be gladly to replace it and then two minutes later they canceled my order then I did some research and there’s a lot of bad information regarding this company I do not recommend buying any parts from this company

Rude customer service.

Me-Right and if I get it tomorrow it will be 117 days to complete the order right? That doesn’t seem like an abnormally long time? Until you emailed me I had actually forgotten I even ordered them.
Customer service-Sorry, we don't count the days from when some random customer amongst thousands, $11 worth of items ship. We can assure you, we can't even forget, because no one actually thinks about it. The system is automated, if something is on backorder, the manufacturer sends it to us whenever they get it back in stock, and then we ship it when we receive it, automatically.

Is there something you wanted or have a question about? or are you simply bored and like to make what you surely think is clever commentary?

Don’t not buy from this company, a big scam behind a fake web site. Customer service is a kid running a computer, management must be the same kid that runs customer service. They hold your money for weeks then refund you after they scam some one else...WARNING don’t buy from adeptpowersports.com
