I would recommend Mark to anyone..he is totally brilliant..when I needed help for probate he talked me through it and even after probate he is still offering support.

I’d highly recommend Affinion probate, they were incredibly helpful at a very difficult and emotional time. Mark was fantastic and very knowledgable. The legal team at NewLegal (particularly Dan and Lisa) were also fantastic and the whole process ran smoothly. The delays were mainly on my own part with submitting information but once I’d done this, the grant of probate came through very quickly. A huge thank you for making this process so straightforward at such a difficult time, I’d have struggled to juggle this alongside other things in life had I attempted to do it myself. Definitely money well spent and prevented lots of stress! Thank you :)

Having had to deal with expensive but emotionally stunted solicitors after my husband’s death I was really surprised at how the people at both Affinion (Mark) and New Law (Matt) dealt with the probate matter efficiently and empathetically. I had no issues with contacting them and speaking to an actual person whenever I needed to and I would highly recommend their service to anyone in the future.

Affinion themselves were helpful, intervening when things went wrong. However, their solicitors were slow and sloppy, twice only progressing things when I chased them to do so - and not always communicating things clearly. Not understanding the process, I now realise that I didn't chase then often enough. Twice papers sat on desks without being touched for several weeks. Probate took 6 months. A friend of mine has just sorted probate in less than 3 months. When I complained, Affinion did intervene and speed up the process which I was very grateful for. They also agreed a small discount because they agreed that there had been a problem. However, at the most stressful time of my life, having to hassle others and worry about probate was an unnecessary stress and cost (I had a mortgage on a property which I couldn't sell until probate was granted - and so the extra 3 months cost me over £3k).

Affinion provided an excellent service at a difficult time, they were professional and there was good communication throughout the process, last but not least they were competitively priced. I would feel confident in recommending their services to anyone who has to deal with the probate process.
