I naïvely signed up to the subscription, I only reviewed one document and never accessed anything else. They wrote demanding a payment for over £185, as I registered with my work address they have constantly sent letters to my work address as well as the main reception of my work place. They have transferred the money I owe to a debt agency before I even knew about the debt. The cost of living at the moment is a struggle and have debt on priority bills and this is not a priority over them, this behaviour shouldn't be allowed, even my priority bills have been more reasonable to deal with and sent less harassing letters. This really needs to be stopped from trading, customer service is disgraceful.

It’s bordering on harassment the amount of times they have contacted me. I’ve got legal advice and reported to trading standards- it’s appalling that they are allowed to do this

The order form that we provide for all our online orders is a small paragraph and 5 bullet points detailing the terms of the offer with empty fields that must be completed in order to enter into the trial. The tick box is to confirm that the terms of the order are read and understood before proceeding into the agreement.
Filling your details into the order form and clicking to confirm that you have read and understood the terms of the offer is not misleading. You had full access to our information and we sent the documents ordered. We also sent a number of emails throughout the trial informing you of features and reminding you that the trial was ending.
As we did not receive a cancellation request this then became a full subscription as advised on the order form.

I am now being hounded and harassed regarding a service I was unaware I signed up for! I explained the circumstances. No customer care, no understanding- they are now increasing the amount of money that I owe, knowing an oversight was made andI do not have the money- they are now threatening Debt Collection.
Please do not use this service!

A BIG ZERO STAR FOR NO SERVICE PROVIDED!! THEY ARE AMONG THE BIGGEST SCAMMERS. Please don’t visit the site, THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY UNSCRUPULOUS. Once they have any of your details they start billing you. I asked them to show me a signed contract I get an automated typed reply as below
I have reported them to FRAUD PROTECTION AND TRADING STANDARDS. I’ve also informed my lawyers. I have no intentions of paying their RANSOM DEMANDS!!
Seriously with all these negative reviews you would have thought they would change the way their work, Surprisingly not
I’ve posted on X and FB alerting people to the UNSCRUPULOUS WAYS!!
Also I have reported them to BBC watchdog. Strength comes in number, if you have been victims of this fraudulent company keep reporting them.
Also, note for the company if can send posted invoices why can’t you send a letter saying we are going to starting charging you, No!! That would be too easy for this FRAUDULENT COMPANY. Beware everyone do not even go on to their website!!!!

It is enough for you to pass through their website, and leave your details as requested for some free forms to be downloaded and then you get the invoice after a month. Where is the scam? Where is the catch? Simple, all the websites that have the intention to charge you will ask you for your card details, so you are aware that you will be charged at some point, no with these people, they would not ask you for your address, name, position and so on as otherways, no one will give his details to them. I have asked our solicitor and he said that are scammers who do not follow a standard policy, they have been reported to a trading standard and hopefully, legal action will be taken against them. DO NOT PAY ANYTHING, THEY MUST SERVE THE CASE TO THE TRIBUNAL FIRST, AND THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AS THEY ARE FRAUDULENT AND HAVE NEVER MADE IT VERY CLEAR TO YOU THAT YOU HAD TO PAY AT SOME POINT AS REQUESTED BY LAW

Dreadful customer service
Dreadful customer service. Yet another bad review for Agora, seems to be a common theme for this company. I like others signed up for a months free trial for health & safety information. I realised the same day the publication was no use to me. Then I ended up with a £75 bill for a service that I didn't want. They claim to have emailed me to tell me that the months trial was coming to an end and I would be invoiced, but I can't find a record in my inbox or spam, just lots of marketing from them. I rang them and gave them the opportunity to credit me for the invoiced they declined. A company with this many poor reviews should be looking at their business model.

I can see from the email interaction between yourself and our Customer Service Team that you believed you had cancelled the 30 day free trial that you ordered within the free period. You also stated that you had been deleting the emails sent from us containing vital information regarding the trial. The first contact we received from you was two months after the trial ended. We have requested further information from you as to how and when the original cancellation was made so that we can back date the cancellation but we have not yet received this information. If you can provide this to us we will happily honour the original request.

I also feel like I’ve been scammed. I didn’t sign up for anything, I was just reviewing the website. Now I have an invoice for a service I’ve not used. I’ve tried to have a conversation with the company, but they insist I owe them the money!
Do not even look at their website … you’ll probably get charged.

This is a scam. I have been invoiced and referred to a debt collection agency for a service I did not want or use.
I have spoken to trading standards and they have advised me and others in this situation to ask the debt collection agency for the signed agreement. They will not have one as we did not sign for this service. You then need to write a letter of complaint to the debt collector and request that the debt is written off, you can also refer it to the ombudsman if required.
I’d highly recommend reporting to trading standards if you find yourself in the same position as me.

Giving one star as no option to give a zero! Absolute scammers. Do not give them any of your details. Total rip off offering a free health and safety template - it is not free. Trading standards told me not to pay them anything. I haven't so far. AVOID.

The free download that you downloaded was a gift for ordering the 30 day free trial.
There is no small print. The terms of the offer are clearly stated at the top of the order form, in the email confirmation where you also found the free gift and multiple times throughout your trial.
It’s a shame that you did not read this information and cancel within the 30 day trial, because the outcome would have been much different.

Had a very bad experience with this company.
Advise all persons making enquiries to not complete any enquiry forms as this is taken as acceptance of services, which they charge and bill for even though nothing is used.
The onus is put on the persons making an online enquiry of the services provided, to cancel any enquiry or be billed.
In my opinion this is underhand tactics and should be banned.

The service is an initial 30 day free trial that does need cancelling if not required following the free period. This is made very clear on the order form, in the email confirmation and within the several follow up emails send within the trial.

Whatever you do, do not give these people your details
This company are scammers, masquerading as a legitimate business. Do not give them your details, because whether or not you are sent or access their publications, and whether or not you think they are any good, they will hound you for payment. Furthermore, they will send you the invoices through the post in envelopes that look like junk mail. I must have put several straight into recycling before I actually opened one. By then I owed them a fortune, for absolutely nothing! I agreed a final invoice, paid it (much against my better judgement) and then they chased me for more. When I responded saying that I had paid and did not owe the additional amount, they ignored my email for months and then sent my "debt" of £19.95 to a legitimate debt collection agency! They had already had a much larger chunk of my money for nothing. Whatever you do, do not give these people your details, because they will go all out to deprive you of your money in as underhand a way as is possible.

The invoices are emailed AND posted in hopes that they are not missed. The envelope is a plain white windowed envelope with a returns address on the back so that we can track mailings that are not reaching the intended address. I’m sorry you felt this resembled junk mail, your comment has been forwarded to our mailing house.
The cancellation request was made well after the trial ended and there was a balance of £99.75. Your payment of £79.80 was received with thanks along with notification that £19.95 was still outstanding. We did not receive any email regarding the remaining amount, if we had received this we would have been happy to reach an acceptable resolution with you.

Very pushy salespeople who wont take no for an answer. You agree they can send some leaflets but ask them not to put you onto a monthly scheme/charge as your not interested.
Then they go away send you some bumff in the post and a week later an invoice. Do not use this company scammers

TERRIBLE COMPANY!
On the 25th of October I added my information (name,address an email) to a company named agora bussines as they were advertising FREE templates for risk assessment but you must provide that information.
On the 9th of December they emailed me informing my subscription has started and I should pay £49 per month for their services, immediately tried to access to a link they attach with the email but their website didn't work so, I emailed them about it, asking where when, how did i agreed to this, and to cancel anything to do with them,
Started getting invoices for a service i never agreed.
On the 11th of December they sent an invoice for £84.85 for January, February and March next year telling me to cancel the subscription I must pay this amount,Which is totally outrageous because I never asked for a subscription or signed a contract with them.
The same day I messaged this company again asking why I was charged for and the answer again was sending another invoice this time for £134.
Today 14th of December I got a letter from them demanding for £84.
I'm seriously concerned about this because I feel harassed for this company.
I never agreed anything with them, never provided them with bank details.
Can you advise me please what should I do?
I've been reading reviews of this company and it seems isn't just me who has been scammed.
