A Hand Tailored Suit Reviews 

I have obtained a County Court Judgment against a relevant individual and D & J Textiles Ltd. in relation to a suit I bought, which they refuse to pay.
Do not trust this company and be careful about the endorsements appearing on this site.
I have been the subject of pressure to remove details from this post identifying the parties on the basis it is private information.
This information is a court order and by its nature, publicly available.

Having had my wedding postponed in 2020 (we all know why), I had it re-scheduled for mid-July 2021 and so I went about shopping for a tailored suit.

I tried a couple of companies locally in Birmingham prior to this one. When I visited a Hand Tailored Suit, they had a few suits hanging up for collection which gave a novice like myself some insipiration.

Jonathon and David showed me plenty of possible colours and fabrics and made some recommentations based on my size and look - I found this really helpful.

Once I had decided on a really unique blue colour (I normally do not like blue suits!), I was invited in for a measuring session. In about 5 to 6 weeks, in the middle of a pandemic and peak wedding season, my suit was sewn and sent back to the UK. Upon fitting, there was only a minor adjustment needed, which was of course, done for free. I also had made a satin tie which matched the internals of my suit jacket and a crisp white cotton shirt.

On the big day the suit, tie and shirt looked amazing. Having never worn any tailored item before, everyone commented on the fit, colour and finish - I was totally over the moon with it. Unfortunately, a ham-fisted bridesmaid ruined a bit of the stitching when trying to attach a flower on to the lapel. Following the event, Jonathon arranged to have this repaired for me, free of charge. I also discovered an extremely small mark on the rear of the shirt when ironing it and the guys arranged a new one to be made for me, free of charge!

Throughout, Jonathon and David have been extremely professional, friendly, accommodating to fit me in with appointments. The pricing was competitive and the company have a gone the extra mile. I thoroughly recommend this company and will no doubt be using them again when the need arises.

Great service and great people to deal with - but most of all absolutely top class product. Just purchased two pairs of chinos and they are very good. The fit is perfect and they are really comfortable. This is a good place for ordinary people to get access to top class tailoring.

The whole experience from first meeting these guys through the fittings and eventually receiving what is a beautiful suit has been excellent with great attention to detail and what felt like a constant thirst for perfection. The suit was for my wedding and I felt very special in it. There were many fine details and so much choice during the measuring process and I was constantly updated on progress

I ordered a three piece suit and in between measurements and receiving I decided to loose nearly 12Kgs hence at my fitting alterations were required, no problems the guys took care of the alterations and delivered the suit to our door with a week to spare before my daughters wedding. Perfect fit great service just ordered new sports jacket,chinos and new Cotten shirt. Three piece looked excellent and a lot of people commented on the suit. A great service and great people highly recommend

Andrew and the A Hand Tailored Suit team provide an excellent service. Their 3D measuring app makes the process of getting measurements to them easy when it's not possible to get physically measured. Andrew himself was easy to work with and very knowledgeable.

Given that I wanted a very specific colour I had some concerns as to how it would turn out, but they have a wide range of fabrics to choose from and the colour that arrived in the end was absolutely perfect.

The turnaround time was very quick especially given that I left my planning quite late and had a very limited timeline. Andrew let me know what to expect regarding time frames and he delivered on that completely.

All in all I'm completely satisfied with my experience with A Hand Tailored Suit and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

What an incredible experience! I decided to reach out to ahandtailoredsuit back in October as I was inspired by their blog post about Guy Richies 'The Gentlemen' and was after a couple of tailored jackets very similar to ones used in the film.

I decided to reach out and was then put into safe hands with a chap called Andrew. Andrew is a true master of his craft and a true legend. We hopped onto a Zoom consultation and I was asked to take measurements from an app on my phone. I was a little skeptical at first, as I didn't know how the 3D model app would be able to pick up my measurements, especially online. But it's safe to say it worked as my jacket fits perfectly!

As the whole experience was completely new to me, I found the whole process of choosing your own jacket, right through to the smaller details such as choosing the fabric, even down to the buttons absolutely incredible. An amazing experience, I thoroughly enjoyed it! It's just a shame that due to COVID I couldn't do it in person.

I'm completely blown away by one of my jackets. The fit, the feel and the style is just out of this world. It's just a shame I can't wear it anywhere just yet haha. But when the time arises, I'm going to look class ;-)

So look, if you're a first timer like myself, you are in safe hands with these guys despite the negative reviews. I'd highly recommend them.

This company does not mess about! I was absolutely amazed by how great the customer service is throughout the process of getting an item of clothing designed and ready for creation, in fact It takes what you think is great to an entire new level.

John oozes passion for fashion and guided me (someone who's never had anything tailor made and generally makes poor choices in clothing) through the process perfectly and actually taught me a lot during the process too!

Every question was answered and the process was smooth and slick. I was also amazed at how his software was able to generate such accurate measurements and I am thoroughly excited to see it!

Could not fault anything and I'm excited to order something else in the future!

My best men and I had style consultation with Jonathan and Victoria after winning a fantastic prize on Instagram. They took my few disparate ideas for a wedding suit and by the end of the consultation we had the design for something I simply can't wait to wear. We went through all the details of my big day and they took into account everything from the style of my wedding to the time of day I'm getting married; it all went in to the final design. My visit to A Hand Tailored Suit was a great experience and I can't wait to see the final product.

I got my suit beginning of September after a long wait because of the Covid-19 lockdown but it was worth the wait cuz the suit is beautiful, fits like a glove. I’m definitely going back cuz l was really impressed wit their work. I’m definitely recommending my friends 🔥🔥🔥👌🏿

A hand tailored suit team is an absolute gem! If you want fully customizaable apparel look no further. Brilliant service, amazing work resulted in a piece of art suit for my wedding! I can't recommend them enough! For those interested bare in mind that cutting takes approx 2 months so plan ahead!
