Great customer service and easy to use
Recently I bought an Airthings Corentium radon monitor. It's small and portable and super easy to set up, so we can check various places in our home (as well as our kids' student housing, for example.) After bringing it home from the store, I removed the protective battery tag and all seemed to go according to plan. However, it needed new batteries after 48 hours, and then again after another 48 hours. I contacted customer service by email, received a response within 24 hours. The result was a new model that they sent free of charge by DHL, with no need to return the original (which was clearly defective).
Excellent customer service and the replacement model is working perfectly.
DO NOT BUY FROM AIRTHINGS
I have read over the reviews below and want to confirm that there is NO CUSTOMER support ! As one user stated they must have rehearsed responses as they are usually not relevant to what you asked them. I asked for support for over two months with most email requests going unanswered [ accept the auto response]
I sent the unit back with their call tag and found out the post office in Florida said no one was there at the location to accept it ! So it sits at the Po , and i still have no refund even though they realize it is at the PO
A terrible company and obliviously destined to bankruptcy given the lack of customer care !

Apps og devices viser gennemsnits værdier for grøn gul rød. Det betyder at enten er den gul mens måling er rød eller også er den rød selvom man har luftet alt ud.
Jeg returnerer mine enheder nu da det er helt utroværdigt.
One thing is the units next to each other showing different values for the same measurement. Other is the Colours green yellow and red shows the AVERAGE and not current measurements. Say the temp or humidity or radon or VOC or whatever is high then the app and devices are showing the average which can be yellow and not as expected Red. The opposite is true as well. You see red og yellow values, open the Doors and Windows and nothing changes due to the moving average. What a piece of shi.
Customer support is non existing and replys weird massages like from an AI service.

Spartan looking physical device interface but the access to current and charted metrics via Android app is actually quite sleek (+1 star). Confusing two apps (with very similar logos) where I was told one is old the other new (as my device could use either of them at some point).
Every few months the device keeps having connection issues. Few times I had to reset the device which means I lose measurement continuity. The support is present (meaning you can try talking to someone) but abysmal.
I have used your device for less than 2 years by now but have wasted literally hours on various issues. I am heavy user of IoT and smart home gadgets and other networked equipment and I have to say the network stability and rescue process (re-adding) of your product is probably the most annoying of them all. The only thing that worked fine is the very first setup.
While the device offers some nice features, the network glitching and your support means I regret buying it. This device should come equipped with breathing relaxation techniques tutorial as I need it every time I see the "No connection INTERNET"
Incorrect Radon Measurement; no customer support
I purchased two View Plus units. One started showing high radon levels in a city that is not known for radon. So, I brought the other unit into the same room and the radon levels have remained low. Customer support is not supportive; they keep sending me messages that are not relevant and don't seem to really understand the issue. They asked me to update my app (for the Wave units, not View Plus). They asked me to take out the batteries, which I did and nothing changed. I sent screenshots and then they asked me to send screen shots. Finally, I contact Amazon and am getting a refund for the defective unit.
Don't buy Airthings products
If I had read the reviews about Airthings here, I'd never have purchased its inaccurate radon detector and dealt with its terrible customer service.
These units are not accurate
These units are not accurate. It keeps reporting high Radon, despite living in an area with low Radon levels. I purchased a different brand to confirm my Radon levels and they are never close to being in sync. The AirThings tend to be on the high side for Radon. The VOC readings seem low, I cleaned the room with a strong cleaning agent and the AT barely flinched, while my cheap-er Chinese unit read very high readings. My Sharp PlasmaCluster Air Purifier also says my VOCs are high. If you fart, the AT will go into the red fairly quickly. It seems different sensors read different compounds. None of the sensors agree on temperature, so I ignore them.
I bought two of these about one week apart, the first one seemed OK, but the second one had issues syncing and quickly started draining the battery. I contacted tech support and answered the usual mundane questions. They did follow-up, but eventually said they were closing the ticket, despite having asked for a new unit. I never heard from them again. Amazon replaced the unit, no questions asked.
Not well integrated, multiple apps required, and poor support structure
You have to juggle two separate apps depending on what you buy which is a poor experience. Getting to support is also painful, as you have to get past the bots first and even then each one support person is juggling many separate chat threads leading to confusion, delays, and more bad user experience. No way to call them, and their email support has problems as well. Can't really speak to the technical details since I never got past all the app-juggling and related confusion. Trying to return and get a refund and that is not going well either

I bought a Airthings Wave Plus device…
I bought a Airthings Wave Plus device and expected an easy setup on my Samsung Galaxy S22 device.
This was all but easy. I have tried numerous times.
- Turning on and off Flight mode
- Taking out the batteries of the device for more than 5 seconds, more than 30 seconds and over 30 minutes.
- Reinstalling the application on my phone.
- Installing the application on my Samsung Galaxy A8 Tab
- Installing the application on my Ipad Pro
On my Samsung Phone the factory update installation stops at 96% and then fails.
On the Android tablet and IPad it says "A problem has occurred while attempting to update this device".
Still I am not able to add the device to any of my phones or tablets.

Forget support
Bought from eBay. Got faults after a few months. Contacted airthings who demand an invoice (from an approved reseller) showing serial number which, of course, I do not have; the serial number off the back of the unit should be enough but this is all about doing nothing folks. No support here.
No ability to change shipping address

When checking out in the USA the website does not give you an option to select a shipping address! it seems to just use the "billing address".
Immediately, I sent airthings support an email and message to notify them of the mistake. Airthings did not respond in time and shipped the product to the wrong address. 3 days later and I still have not heard back from them.
Worst customer service I’ve dealt with…
Worst customer service I’ve dealt with across all industries. The agents dance around the issue you report and wastes your time asking for irrelevant information. Even when data and information clearly shows the device is having problems they will continue to steer you into more data gathering… stay away.
My Airthings mini stopped working
My Airthings mini stopped working. I emailed them and they have been no help. They will not talk to you on the phone and they want me to email them back on their messenger and I have no idea where that is. They said they sent me a screen shot. I do not know what that is or where I can find it. I have had it with these people. No wonder they get such horrible reviews.

Jeg har to enheter som stadig mister måleinformasjon. Problemet er tatt opp med support uten at de har klart å løse problemet. Når jeg ble lei av at det ikke var noe fremdrift eller løsning så sendte jeg melding om at jeg ønsker å reklamere på produktene. Etter det ble det helt stille fra support.
Begge produktene ble kjøpt direkte fra Airthings etter mottak av reklame på norsk. De fremstilte seg 100% norske i markedsføringen. Da bør de også fremstå som norske i kundebehandling i ettertid.
Kjære Airthings! Dere har min kontaktinfo via support. Dere har fremdeles mulighet til å rette opp saken før jeg benytter meg av mine forbrukerrettigheter og tar saken videre.
In my opinion stay well away from this company
I have been in contact and complaint with Airthings that one of my 5 devices doesn’t work and is going through batteries like nothing I have ever seen. Their customer service has been appalling. They won’t replace my device until they receive the device back from me, despite admitting finally (after 4 months) that the device is faulty. I’m so appalled by their customer service that I’m throwing the other devices in the bin and changing to another company - waste of time

Helt og aldeles utroværdig. Har fx 2 stående ved siden af hinanden som giver vidt forskellige målinger. Når der vises for høj værdi på fx radon inden for 48 timer så vises det ikke når der vælges ugevisning.. Kunne blive ved med uoverensstemmelser. Hvis man lufter ud for at forbedre luftkvaliteten så kan man vente timer før anden luftkvaliteten vises, så man kan i virkeligheden ikke se hvad der forbedrer kvaliteten. Kan heller ikke se hvornår der sker hvad, pga manglende tidsangivelse og den grove inddeling.. Helt igennem et dårligt, alt for dyrt produkt.
Poor customer service
Whilst I was generally happy with my kit, the Hub stopped connecting to any device and the internet. It's not even 1 year old and it is within its warranty. Took it with customer service which they replied to my first messages and then it's 2 days and they do not respond. At the same time, they say...we respond to under 30mins on average. Have sent all documentation requested. If not responded, will take it with my card provider.

They used the pre-orders to bank roll production for retail. Now they have no problem cancelling pre-orders. Vote with your money- don’t buy from them!
Don’t believe the crap they are pumping “silicon shortage” I can tell you my pre-order was still on hold due to shortage while retail has 100+ in stock.
