Ordered five different backpacks and bags and each one was amazingly crafted and as advertised. Truly beautiful!

Lots of compartments for items, well constructed, color is really nice. A little smaller than I imagined but is adequate for my husband’s use. Shipping took way longer than I thought and I ended up calling the company. It was being made to order and they were waiting on the leather to construct the bag. I got it soon after. Hubby was very pleased.

The backpack was great. My son is extremely happy with it. Shipping was on time and there were no issues.

Don’t normally write reviews but felt it was appropriate in this case. Ordered the Flint Cognac Brown backpack. First, I want to start off by saying, the leather seems to be very high quality. It looks and feels amazing! Craftsmanship is high.

Now, the couple of things that brought down the review. I did apply a bit of high quality leather conditioner to it. I tested a small spot on the inside strap, and all appeared fine at first. Applied more to the entire backpack and noticed that a large amount of the color / stain started to rub off…. The backpack still looks good, but there are a couple spots where the stain looks smeared now :/ I just hope the stain doesn’t rub off too much just from daily use. The website says free 3-6 day delivery worldwide. Just want to point out, the backpack must not have been in stock because it did take almost 3 weeks to get delivered. Before I bought, I didn’t do much research into the company. I honestly figured it would be shipping from Alaska, so when I got the shipping label and saw it was coming from Pakistan, I was a little weary. I just had no idea what to expect tbh. I know the US gets plenty of goods from Pakistan, it just made me rethink the $170 USD price tag a bit more considering the USD is so so strong against the Pakistan Rupee.

I read the About Story on how the founder came up with the idea after buying. Much respect though. Cool story. All of that stuff wasn’t that big of a deal to me tbh, but the thing that annoys me a bit more is that the straps are just wayyy too long. They are adjustable up to a point, but even when they are adjusted to the shortest length, the backpack still sags lower than I would personally prefer. Still an okay height, but not very versatile. I would prolly have returned only for this reason if the company was actually based in Alaska. I don’t want to deal with an international return. The strap thing definitely needs to get figured out! Just cut them shorter or use a different adjustment buckle. If you happen to find or know of a clasp / buckle that looks good that could be put around the straps to tighten it, I would bump this up to 5 stars! Would order again, IF that got fixed. The strap fix alone would easily bring the review up. The unexpected international purchase combined with the delayed shipping are really the reason for another star off. Man it really is a beautiful bag though.

I absolutely love my bag! I use it as my daily office/commuter bag. It’s super high quality leather and very well made. Be prepared to receive many compliments. It’s compact bag so you will need to keep that in mind but overall it’s well worth the investment.

Alaskan Leather Company Team is a really helpful and consciencious team. Their end-to-end process view is clearly visible on costumer service, because they were always available from ordering through invoicing all the way down to the end of the shipping process.

We had a shipping issue, but ALC was following up until the product was delivered. The item purchased was for a donation to a fundraising event and ALC also included a few wallets with the order as a donation. The backpack purchased was AMAZING!!! Love it so much!

The leather duffle is so nice. Quality construction. I gave this as a gift to my husband and he loves it.

Overall satisfied for the price. It does have a rather strong smell of dye though, but perhaps that will fade with time.

The service was outstanding! I like the bag I bought-it's well made- but the leather was a strange smell. I was looking for an old oiled saddle smell and feel. It seemed a slight bit chemically.

My girls and I love the bag as much as my son, for whom it was a gift!!! It is utterly beautiful and feels so luxurious. And it arrived so quickly, just in time for his graduation! Thank you.
