Our family of 11 had an exceptional experience with All Black Limo (206-672-8281)! From the moment we arrived in Seattle until we headed home after our Alaska cruise, they made every transfer seamless and stress-free.

They picked us up at the airport and took us to our hotel, picked us up from the hotel and brought us to the cruise port, and after our cruise, they were there waiting to take us from the cruise port back to the airport. Every pickup was on time, well-organized, and professionally handled.

A huge thank-you to our drivers, King and Steve! They were friendly, courteous, professional, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout every ride. They helped with our luggage, accommodated our group of 11 with ease, and truly went above and beyond to provide outstanding customer service.

If you’re looking for dependable, first-class transportation in the Seattle area, I highly recommend All Black Limo. Thank you, King and Steve, for taking such great care of our family and making our vacation even more enjoyable. We will definitely use your service again!

We used this company four times between June 11 and June 21. The first three rides were good. The fourth ride, followed by the company’s increasingly condescending explanations, earned the two stars.

For our final trip from the Seattle Marriott Waterfront to SEA, there were two passengers. The company had already transported us from the airport, to the cruise pier, and back from an eight day cruise. They were therefore familiar with the fact that we had actual luggage, not two toothbrushes and a grocery bag.

Before the reservation was confirmed, I requested Navneet, who had driven us previously in a larger and more comfortable vehicle. That request was never acknowledged.

Instead, the company sent a BMW i5. They have since provided a detailed lesson on wheelbase measurements, explaining that the vehicle exceeds Washington’s minimum requirement for sedan service by four inches.

Congratulations, I suppose.

Unfortunately, the wheelbase did not prevent our bags from being stacked in the front passenger seat, partially obstructing the window and mirror. It also did not prevent us from having to listen to the driver complain about the luggage during the ride.

The company’s position is that because two passengers were confirmed and a sedan was booked, the service was properly fulfilled. Apparently, asking how much luggage two cruise passengers have falls outside the sophisticated science of professional transportation planning.

Their final response was essentially that we received exactly what we paid for and simply did not like it. That is a fascinating customer service strategy, especially after four paid rides.

The problem was never whether the vehicle technically qualified as a sedan. The problem was that it was too small for the known luggage, the front seat became luggage storage, the driver complained, our request for a prior driver was ignored, and the company responded by debating vehicle classifications instead of taking responsibility.

Three rides were good. The last ride was poorly planned, uncomfortable, and followed by a master class in explaining why minimum compliance should be mistaken for good service.

Two stars. One for the first three rides and one for the impressive wheelbase presentation.

Per their response: Safety may be your stated highest priority, but it was not the highest priority during our ride.

When the vehicle proved too small, the safest response would have been to stop and address the issue, arrange a more appropriate vehicle, or find another safe solution. Instead, the driver stacked luggage in the front passenger seat, obstructing the passenger window and potentially limiting visibility of the side mirror.

That was not a matter of expectations versus requirements. It was a real safety concern created by the vehicle assignment and the decision to continue the trip with luggage placed in a way that could interfere with the driver’s visibility.

You continue to focus on the fact that the reservation was booked as a sedan for two passengers. That does not answer the safety issue. Two passengers can still have luggage, particularly when returning from an eight day cruise, and your company had already transported us multiple times during the same trip.

If safety truly comes first, then the response should not be that the vehicle technically met the reservation category. The question should be whether the trip was operated safely once it became clear the luggage did not fit properly.

Facts do matter. The luggage was stacked in the front passenger seat, the window and mirror visibility were affected, and the ride continued anyway. That is the issue your responses keep avoiding.
