During my first visit to the development, I received great customer service and was afforded all the information I needed and additional follow on help and advice was offered. I am greatly appreciative of the high levels of service and helpfulness that I was given by Rachel.

Adam and Seth have been great.
Quick efficient and corrected defects that I did not even spot. Allison homes and everyone I have interacted with so far have been genuinely amazing.
100% recommend if in the market for a new property - this is how it should be done 👍

We have lived in our new house built by Allison Homes for 18 months now.
As in any new built houses there are always going to be snagging items needing the builders attention.
I raised these items with Nicola from Allison Homes Customer Support who swiftly arranged for two members of the team to resolve the items that l raised on a date to suit all.
The work took a few hours over two days and it was a pleasure to report how tidy, considerate and professional the men where.

Amazing service by the customer service team. Massive thank you to Nicola for getting things sorted for us, Adam and Seth for the amazing after care work and thanks to James our site manager for doing such a great job. Well done all and thank you for making our new home experience such an enjoyable one.

From the first time we came to view properties on Foxglove view Nicky went out of her way to show my husband and I around the development. This was going to be a relocation for us, as we are brand new to the area. We’re completely blown away with our new home and the help and support that both Nicky & James have given to us. The first day we moved in our electrics were tripping. James very promptly called out the electricians and got everything sorted.
Now where in and living our best lives. We’ve been here 6 weeks and know that if we need help we can ask Nicky & James for help and advice about anything.
There are a few snagging issues as to be expected with a new build but they are being dealt with professionally and promptly.

The customer care is awful, the contractors they employ to do the snagging work for them is also awful.

Poor level of attention to detail, lack of care from everyone involved.

We regret buying an Allison home and wouldn't buy from them again.

Been here for almost two years now and have had nothing but issues since moving in. Had dampness in the house from the start and all the finishes were poorly executed, leaving much to be desired.

It's stressful having to chase up for rectifications. If you don't complain then nothing will get done. And when someone does turn up to fix something, they do half a job and then have to come back to look at it again.

They also don't treat their customers with fairness, some people get a much higher level of care than others. As a young couple with a dog, we feel as if we've been discriminated against and get left in the dark.

They use the NHBC warranty as a shield to protect themselves from doing anything more than what is necessary. They are reactive instead of proactive, they will paint over the cracks but won't address the root cause of the issue.

I can't believe the stress it has caused us and I'm always having to chase things up in order for any movement or progress to happen.

Also at one point, they gave us a £100 gift voucher in hope that it would make everyone happy and be quiet.

Still not happy almost two years on from completion, this should speak volumes. Also people should think twice before leaving a review so soon after buying, they're not doing themselves any favours.

Karen at Foxglove View was on hand with so much excellent information and always made sure we had everything we needed, including ensuring continuity when we booked for another open day at another location. Very warm friendly and welcoming. Thank you

I can’t remember when this was - but I’ve just found the card with QR code and I promised a review !

We moved in just over a week ago and can't fault the service we've had. Nicky has been attentive and looked after us, ironing out any problems, and James the site manager has also been very helpful. The build is to a very good standard, and James has even picked up on some little things that we hadn't even noticed. Overall we're loving the new house and couldn't recommend them more.

We moved into our beautiful new home a week today and absolutely love it.
Nicki and James have been absolutely amazing from the moment we arrived.
The quality of build is outstanding and that’s saying something as I am a perfectionist!
The site is still ongoing in terms of phase 2 being built and is well maintained and managed by James.
This being a relocation for us has meant that I have felt a little lost with where to go for everything. Nicki has been wonderful in helping me to settle, giving me fabulous advice on places to go in the area from hairdresser's to butchers.
The contractors are all very courteous and friendly.
The buying process was very quick we completed in 4 weeks of reservation.
Naturally there are a couple of things that need to be done snagging wise, and we feel confident they will be done by James and the team.
I would highly recommend a visit if you’re looking to purchase a new home.

From the first time we walked into the sales office, Nicky could not have been more helpful. She provided all the relevant information and nothing was too much trouble. Nicky guided me through the process and was on hand to reply to any queries. On the day of completion, James was fantastic, running through all the necessary information, offering support and explaining everything clearly. James then popped around the day after to check that everything was okay and this will be followed up by another visit next week. Nothing was too much trouble and I have been encouraged to report any snags so that they can be rectified in a timely manner. Allison Homes operated quickly with regards to the sale.

We have just moved into our new Allison Home on Foxglove View and couldn’t be happier.
Nicola the sales negotiator guided us successfully through the last steps of the purchase process and then to completion in a professional manner. Always happy to help and advise.
Together with James the site manager the few snagging issues are being addressed in a prompt manner.

UPDATE: As my initial review was only 6 weeks after moving in I thought I would update 8 months on. Still extremely happy with everything. Good quality finish inside property with any snags identified (which are all minor) due to property settling, being quickly resolved through the very efficient arrangements of the customer care team. Only negatives identified are some patchy repairs made to render before we moved in and majority of properties already getting a green algae tinge which is going to need attention. Assume paraguard was not applied at time property was rendered which would have prevented this happening so soon which is a bit disappointing. This would not put me off buying a home with Allison Homes again ............although I don't intend to move again!

We have just recently moved into our property at Foxglove View, Buckland Brewer after living a few miles away for the past 20 years. We are so pleased to have found such an idyllic development. We had always been a bit cautious with buying a new build but so glad we did - the property is of excellent quality with a high quality finish and appliances. The whole process of buying through Alison Homes was made so much easier thanks to Karen in the site Sales Office - always extremely helpful, knowledgeable and quick to answer any questions, however silly they may seem. We have also been very impressed with the after sales service that has been provided by Ben Karen with follow-up visits to check for any snagging (of which is minimal) with nothing being too much trouble and both being quick to resolve anything and answer any queries. Overall, we are extremely happy with our property and with the service that has been provided by the site team.

We paid a second visit to Foxglove view in Buckland Brewer today. Having a number of questions regarding the different properties and the purchase process after our first visit a few day’s previously. We, once agin met with Karen from the sales office. We cannot praise Karen highly enough for her welcoming, friendly and professional manner. She was able to to answer all our questions, of which there were many. Her product knowledge regarding the development, individual house features and the area was exceptional.

We moved into our new bungalow at Foxglove View in May 2023 and we are very happy with the build. We found that Wayne, the site manager and Ben, the assistant site agent were exceptionally helpful. They have continued to be very supportive and nothing is too much trouble. All the trades have been courteous and professional on site. All works carried out have been to a high standard and dealt with promptly. We would have no trouble in recommending buying property from Allison Homes.
