Amazon UK flaunting UK law.

Please note, by law it takes 30 days to process a refund from date of return not 60 days plus. An item returned on 19 July shouldn’t have to wait till 16 Sept as time allowed for refund.

Clearly a delay tactic to frustrate a customer. It’s worked. Judging from what I’ve read here, Amazon does care for the card charges a customer incurs or missed repayment due to your delay.

Very difficult if you have a problem with a product

I had to return a phone that was under warranty to a third party seller on Amazon website. Phone overheating and only 4 months old. Nightmare trying to deal with the useless chat line they amazon have! 1 hour wasted on two interactions with them! Both assistants gave me totally different answers. The last one hung up! And l was not abusive, all l said was l am confused!!

Parcel delivery via Evri

Parcel delivery via Evri. Evri couldn't deliver, didn't provide a tracking number and all Amazon tells me to do is contact Evri. Guess what? Evri won't even put me in contact with a real person until I provide a tracking number. Utter rubbish. Customer service about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Amazon have become too sloppy

Amazon are terrible now I’ve never seen them be so bad before as of now when you return an item to post office and it’s scanned your supposed to be refunded to your account in two hours only I’ve been waiting three days now and still no refund on account I phoned them up to ask where’s the refund and customer service do not know what to do their like we will wait until we received the item back yet the system is supposed to pay you back as stated on their own website in 2 hours their actually losing business as I have a checkout of goods to buy that I’m not buying until Ive received the refund in fact it’s taking that long I will shop at other companies now even eBay are better than Amazon now.

I bought a new hisense 50 inch TV from…

I bought a new hisense 50 inch TV from Amazon and it will be the last item I'll ever buy I received this TV on Tuesday 22/07 which was supposed to be delivered on Monday 21/07... when delivered the box wasn't very clean and in a bit off a state which we only seen once my wife got home...when we were able to lift and open it up...on opening the box I could see right away this wasn't a new TV and had been used so it was boxed back up... right away.
I think it disgusting Amazon use people like this too deliver faulty goods...and not new Which I bought in good faith from Amazon website showing a new TV... but this is nowhere near what I ordered...this TV was ordered through my daughter who has prime and it's now caused some raised tension between us...this TV should be uplifted and returned to the people who are trying to rip me off...and Amazon should be ashamed of itself for using such people... I'm over 76 years old with health issues and could be doing without this bother...so I would like Amazon too do the right thing and get this sorted I didn't ask for a second hand TV and expect what I paid for a new TV...I think Amazon needs to look at who gets to use their website and should be held responsible for the rubbish some people get delivered like myself...but this is a lesson for me I'll never use Amazon ever again...this company really does need too get it's house in order...23/07/25. Thank you to the delivery in Islington today who rang my bell and waited for me to answer the door. It was pouring with rain and unlike previous deliveries, handed me the parcels rather than leaving them on the doorstep. Greatly appreciated.

What Amazon do with reviews, sellers don't like.

I have been with Amazon for years, I'm a prime member, because of how many things I order from Amazon. Only a few days ago, I ordered some plastic files from Amazon and tried to leave review. Only to be told I couldn't leave a review because of suspicions on my account. I went Amazon chat area and was then asked did anyone else use my payment card on Amazon? I said no, and asked them what would have caused them to ask me that? I went though my orders, there was nothing unusually there. Then they asked did I leave reviews, and I said yes, but couldn't remember the last one I had left. Then the truth came out, I had left a review that a seller hadn't liked and now my review status was blocked. Amazon did unblock it a few days later though, and allowed the reviews I had sent a couple of years ago to be reactivated. None from 2023-2025 though. Apparently seller can only question a review they don't like within 90 days of it being posted, so why have 3 years worth of reviews been deleted? Also when you fully read what a review can comment on, I'm surprised anyone write one any way. They ask that you contact customer service, but there is no option to do that in their chat options. They will take your money, but not your criticism.

Attention Scammers Avoid ⛔️

I think is time to stop buying and deactivate my accounts from Amazon.

The reason is that they let some dodgy companies like (Timber Artscraft) to send half of the parcels items to customers and people waste time and money.

Trustpilot is full of unsatisfying customers from the same seller! ( timber Artscraft )

We bought rattan furniture from Timber Artscraft through Amazon and one box missing. They waste my time, waiting for the delivery also.
Amazon customer service said I have to paid to return it.

Lots of people complain about these company and Amazon still let them to cooperate with them.

They don’t have a telephone number and they never reply their emails.

Enough is Enough. Never again! Avoid the scammers!!!!!!🤬🤬

Diabolical

Amazon customer service is diabolical, they are unable to answer simple questions as they keep referring back to script and sorry about everything
The customer service is set up in the favour of the seller not the buyer
There call centres in the far and Near East are the worst if the lot
Amazon should get a grip of this out of date customer support

Delivery service is appalling

Delivery service is appalling. Couriers make no attempt to deliver the parcels to the house but just drop them over the gate. They are then less than a metre from the road and in full view of anyone passing by.
This has happened several times now.

My delivery was left on the street along with deliveries for about +- 6 other deliveries for apartments in this multistorey block. All deliveries were for BT10.
Access to building is via an intercom system, which is in full working order today, and has been every day for past 20+ years.

They say no one is above the law, yet Amazon is ripping off thousands of customers not delivering there parcels then not giving a refund or replacement they are stealing millions off people and they are getting away with it, Amazon the biggest thieves who are above the law.

Recieved an office chair that turned…

Recieved an office chair that turned out to be well below par, so small I can barely sit on it and it's painful.

Problem, I cant take it apart! So it wont fit in a box. Amazon refuse to collect it unless it's in a box. They say go to another courier. Not having any joy, they all seem to want it packaged properly.

I am disabled so I cant fly around doing these things.

Amazon Online App Shop Terrible Upgrade!

Amazon app now even worse. When using the app when browsing. The photo keep popping up, annoying. One of the worse experience I had browsing on the shop. When you scroll it and accidentally touch the photo it will pop up and you need to close it again. Terrible, so I gave up and buy on other online shop instead.

Amazon really need to do something about sellers misleading over prime delivery dates. Ordered item because it was next day delivery. Then when it didn’t show was told it will now be 7 days from when I ordered. If I’d had this information beforehand I wouldn’t have ordered. Amazon brush off the complaint “flag the seller” doesn’t solve the problem

Amazon absolute B.S

Was expecting a delivery yesterday they apparently attempted delivery I have on my instructions that they obviously can’t be bothered to actually read that they can call the concierge if no one answers my buzzer they clearly ignored this and just left then today the day they were again apparently attempting to re-deliver I got an email just after 7pm now I’ve been home all day I had 1 parcel delivered from Royal Mail that was it but now apparently Amazon haven’t been able to locate my address sorry but that is utter B.S and they know it I order from Amazon a lot so not being able to locate my address is actually laughable it really is so what exactly are we playing at here Amazon coz it’s actually ridiculous!

Amazon Not To Be Trusted

Well having used amazon for a lot of years i placed 6 orders this week . The goods where ariving then i got a message WE ATEMPTED DELIVERY not true with a message we will try and deliver again so i left it a few days still no delivery . So i contacted them and was told they lost my order so WE ATEMPTED DELIVERY was totally untrue therefore AMAZON lie to there customers also it will take a further 7 days to get my refund great way to treat your loyal customers . I was informed they would give a £15 gift card another lie having used them for years I'm totally discussed with the service i have received BYE BYE amazon lying to your customers great service

Two years of lies, delivery failures, and no accountability

Today I received an email from Amazon Customer Service stating that the courier informed them they were unable to locate or access the address used for my recent order. I was at home all weekend, and nobody came or called regarding the issue I had with the particular book order.

I’ve been dealing with the same delivery problem on Amazon for over two years, and despite doing absolutely everything in my power to resolve it, nothing has changed.

My address and mobile phone number have remained the same since March 2023, and they are correctly listed in my Amazon account. I’ve provided clear delivery instructions, and — at Amazon’s own request — I’ve submitted the geographical coordinates of my residence twice. I was told these would be shared with delivery drivers.

But when I asked a few delivery drivers directly, they told me they only receive the postcode — no coordinates whatsoever. So why was I told otherwise? Why is Amazon lying about using my coordinates when clearly they are not being passed on?

Meanwhile, delivery instructions, my phone number, and the location data are all ignored. And yet Amazon continues to act as if the issue is on my end. It’s not. I’ve done everything I can to make sure my location is findable.

If Amazon’s internal systems are a mess and information isn’t being transferred properly, that is not the customer’s fault. The problem has persisted for over two years, and all I’ve ever received are scripted apologies, broken promises, and false claims that the coordinates are in the system and being used.

Now they’ve even stopped explaining why a parcel wasn’t delivered and instead demand ID verification for a refund or replacement I never asked for. When they can't deliver properly, they turn the situation around and start pressuring the customer.

This is not acceptable. My data has been consistent for years — address, phone number, delivery instructions, and coordinates — all in place. Yet the deliveries keep failing.

What kind of operation is this, if you can’t fix such a basic issue in over two years?

I also sent a copy of the complaint to Amazon UK Managing Director John Boumphrey.

Shameful service. Zero accountability. Endless lies.
