Really disappointed with Ambassador had a conservatory built last August completed September.

Two faults one being guttering and the other rendering all cracked.

I have chased since then and they are full of promises but nothing more.

Rendering just done still awaiting guttering to be done.

Also no Building Certificate issued as yet April 2026.

Really dissapointed with Ambassador and the broken promises.

We recently had our windows and doors installed by Ambassador, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Before making our decision, we obtained several quotations and carried out thorough research into reputable companies that could offer solid guarantees and reliable aftercare should it ever be needed.
What truly set Ambassador apart for us was a visit to their showroom in Llanelli. Being able to see the products firsthand, assess the quality of the materials, and discuss the different options in detail made all the difference. Although we ultimately chose white PVC, we opted for a grain effect finish, which we had never seen before. The difference in appearance and quality was striking and really elevated the overall look.
While Ambassador were not the cheapest option, they were by far the best in terms of value for money. The quality of the products, combined with the reassurance provided through warranties and aftercare, made the decision an easy one.
The installation team were outstanding – true professionals who were clearly dedicated to delivering the highest standard of workmanship. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the edging on our bay window to ensuring the design on our cantilever was absolutely spot on. The final finish is flawless and exceeded our expectations.
From our very first point of contact with Umberto through to the thorough clean-up after installation, we have been consistently impressed. We would wholeheartedly recommend Ambassador to anyone considering new windows or doors and will certainly be using them again in the future.

I’m so pleased with my new windows and door. Geraint and Darren were excellent, polite, helpful, hardworking and great guys. They finished off the windows and sills brilliantly and the house looks great now. They went above and beyond and even helped me to put a couple of fixtures back up after the installation- thank you very much. I recommend 👍

The salesman Amberto was very nice , & gave a cheaper quote than the others I had. Then the surveyor came out also very nice. Then the boys came out to fit the windows, they were very hard working & really nice boys. They put my nets back up for me. & lastly the windows are very good quality. & I am allready feeling the benefits of much less draft, the house is definitely warmer.

Very impressed with Ambassador from initial contact through to fitting. Professional, courteous and on time with all aspects of the job. The windows look amazing, so pleased that we've ordered more! Highly recommend them.

Let's start with the positive the two men who came to work on our property were outstanding 5* They were easy to talk to, we felt comfortable & they worked really hard.

The red door is to die for!

Downsides: Unlike with our neighbours house Ambassador didn't send a large team to do the job (which were told would be the case during a sales visit). Our small team were pulled off to support other jobs but they kept us well informed and timeframes at that time were not an issue.

The day extra fitters did come a whole rear patio door was left unfinished & unsealed (meaning we could see the fixing into cavity wall insulation as opposed to block or brick).
The back door was only partially sealed as well.
The other patio door wouldn't open & close without sticking either & our regular team of two had to rectify the issues, when they returned to do finishings on the windows.

We felt like we had to push to get the roofline cement repairs completed, which were quoted for. Thankfully they got a lush local trade out before the scaffolding was removed).

We ordered black UPVc internal & external. We love the effects but having seen our neighbours grey on white windows, Ambassador don't make our version as well. We have quite a few windows with rough, raised joints which is a shame.

We also ordered & paid for black on brown (it was explained that base UPVc was either white or brown). We selected brown...we have been saddened by the amount of white UPVc used in the construction of our windows. At first glance it looks like we got what we paid for but as you walk past windows where the vents have been cut in the white UPVc base jumps out at you.
We've raised this repeatedly but not had any kind of acknowledgement or apology for it.

The back patio doors are damaged in the construction phase with wonky screws - we are still awaiting for this to be rectified.

The wrong glass was ordered, it didn't have privacy glass, but they quickly changed this which was appreciated. There are two windows fitted as openers but they were ordered as fixed. This isn't an issue but we will need to double check what has been written down & already quoted for in phase 2 to make sure we get openers in the two windows we think they confused this order with.

A section of guttering was left outstanding because scaffolding was in the way so the job is still ongoing & trust that it will be finished soon.

I know this reads like a good moan but we've paid £26,000 of savings for this phase of the works. For us thats a lot of money & it's disappointing. The windows I had Ambassador put in my first home 25 years ago are still in that house so I had high expectations.

We are still awaiting our FENSA certificate.

Just to reiterate the 2 fitters & cement worker who came were awesome. If we get things rectified & progress to phase 2 we will insist of them being part of the team.

Thankfully we already have our quote for phase 2 & even though we said at the point of agreeing phase 1, this could be next year, we we're assured that window prices don't change so the quote will stand....that we thought was great, so choosing to finish this review on a positive.

Nb: once our issues are sorted, I will likely change the rating & update this review.

We recently had a new conservatory roof installed and although I was sceptical about the claimed temperature benefits, I have been really impressed by how well the roof works. So glad that we decided to replace it.
A big callout to Umberto (sales) and all of the installation team. The quality of the work was outstanding and the only (very minor) snag was rectified the very next day after it was reported.
I would definitely recommend Ambassador Windows.

We used Ambassador Windows and Home Improvements Ltd to install a new composite front door with glass side panels. We have used them previously for double glazed unit replacement. It has been an excellent experience. At the planning stage the company were very friendly and helpful in ensuring that we met our detailed requirements. The choices were complex but at all stages they helped us through. The installation team were as equally friendly and helpful, with all the work completed in the day to a very high standard. We are delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend this company.

Having previously had windows and doors provided and fitted by Ambassador and being very pleased with the work done, we recently became returning customers and had exterior cladding done. All went well as we expected from this company. From the initial planning , organisation of scaffolding and fitting of cladding from a very professional and hard working
