RTC with Sensors board.
Received the RTC with Sensors board earlier this week. I recommend getting the additional sensor as well. I am using it to monitor my CPU temps. The built-in sensor will report ambient temp, voltage rail and your RTC clock battery life. All are working great. Thank you, AmigaKit!

Still the biggest supplier out there
Used to be great but recently seem they have not been able to keep up with things, some of this is apparently due to illness and also the amount of orders coming in.
So I am experiencing a long lead time as the items need to be assembled and tested prior to sending out.
Its probably not helping my expectations by the fact that previous orders have all been with me in a matter of a couple of days

I've ordered many things over the years from AmigaKit, right back to when they were selling “new old stock” Amiga 1200’s. I also look on their website first before any of the others as I know they have quality hardware. I’ve recently had my A600 recapped and can not fault the work. They’ve even helped me out with problems and solutions over the phone! I wholeheartedly recommend amigkit to be your first choice. Chris and team do a fantastic job keeping Amiga’s alive.

I ordered a real-time clock for the Amiga1200 - they came in a sturdy package, with instructions. After installation, they work well, the quality of the product is at a high level. Communicating with the seller is pleasant, responsiveness and interest in a good buyer's experience is visible.
A1200 8MB expansion board
Excellent service and product. Very good communication throughout, especially when I wanted to amend my order.
The 8MB board works well and is a neatly designed and manufactured unit.
Initially, I had a problem with the board not being recognised. However, Amigakit recommended I clean the A1200 contacts with some IPA and this worked a treat - I would strongly recommend this, especially for a machine that has been in storage for many years.
I would also recommend removing the A1200 lid & keyboard as this makes it easier to lift up the metal shield and gives more access to slide the board in at a straight angle.
The extra memory has a massive impact on WHDload games - recommended.

Floppy Disk Drive Boot Selector Switch A500 A2000
The drive bot selector is a very well put together bit of kit, it was easy to install and works perfectly. You can switch between the internal and external drive while the machines running without issue. The build quality is very good indeed and i would definitely buy this again from AmigaKit and would recommend this item too.

Good Experience with the Amiga video to SCART cable
Ordered the Amiga video to SCART cable, and it looks and works great. Now using an Amiga 1200 with a Dell monitor. Shipping to the US was relatively quick with the FedEx shipping upgrade. Communications with the company were great, too. Emails were answered quickly considering the time difference between Texas and Wales.
You have a choice, make it AmigaKit!
In a world where new gear is available for 30 year old computers, AmigaKit shines through - yes, they sometimes are delayed in fulfilling orders, but this is because they are so busy 'doing so'. They work nights and weekends to get stuff out the door to you! (me!) If you're on the fence on ordering from them? Don't be. They do go out of there way to make sure you get what you ordered with support during and after the sale. Great folks, great products! My Amiga computers are much more than useful with orders purchased from AmigaKit! Thanks for all the great service and support over the years!
Non-responsive and extremely slow
Edit: After a bit of back and forth between me and AmigaKit I have decided to update my review.
I *HAVE* had quite a few orders in the past that I was satisfied with - tbh I don't remember how fast they were shipped or how slow it was - but a lot of them were of no time issue.
At one point I was going through my old orders and noticed that one of them had an item that hadn't been shipped - odd, but no biggie, so I reached out to AmigaKit - the response I got was "I'll reach out to my boss when he gets back".
Later on I noticed it still hadn't shipped to me and I mentioned it in my contact with them and the answer I got was "We're on it".
I never saw that item.
At one point I ordered quite a few cables - as it happens I have a good buddy of mine who's more technically inclined than me (on the physical side of things) - I opened up the loot and pulled out the cables and was quite puzzled!
I hadn't seen cables done like this before and my buddy's honest reaction was: "Well do you care less about the cables?!?" - he does cables often in his line of work.
It was quite literally a mess - yes, I know they made the cables themselves - but I am quite sure that I - as a fourteen year old could have done a better job at it.
At another time - there was a payment issue with one of my orders and while there was an issue with the payment there was clear and concise communication with AK - but after the payment cleared there was no further communications until the item shipped - even if I had contacted them a few times in the progress of the months.
And then we're back at this order - I had previously reached out to them that if they were swamped (the order I just talked about) - they should just send out a mail stating just that - no response.
I even tried telling them that the no-response thing was very bad for them and that they should at least make a statement either on their website or in their auto-replies.
Still no reply...
So basically every time they're negatively impacted - they respond - otherwise DO NOT expect a response from them.
I still recommend to take your business elsewhere as they won't respond to you unless they're negatively affected in the public eye!
It hurts me to say this - but they can't rest on their laurels from previous experiences - sorry that's just the reality of today.
I put in a couple of orders (in quick succession as I remembered there were other items I needed).
No response or any mails about picking the items for delivery.
After a fortnight I put in a request through their online system to please ship some of the items separately as they were for me and some friends and we were now getting together for a happy Amiga evening.
No response.
I put in another request to please ship the items for me and my friends separately as another Amiga evening is drawing near - no response.
One and a half month after I put in the order I send them an email asking them to cancel the orders - now they respond!
"Oh the items were already shipped, so we can't cancel the order".
Another fortnight passes.
Again I state my intend to cancel - and I finally get a tracking number - and this one details that they've only just a couple of days prior put the items in the hands of the postal system!
So the items were shipped one and a half week AFTER they claimed it was already shipped.
Oh... And they bent my magazines to cram it into the box they selected for my order.
This experience was similar to other of my previous orders - so after a very long time of shopping at them I now hand over my orders to a spanish Amiga shop instead.
I recommend you take your orders elsewhere.

I sent off my Amiga 600 for a recap on the Thursday, and it was back with me that very weekend. Fantastic turnaround.
I've sent a number of boards to AmigaKit for recap, and can't fault the work that they do. Will use again.
