I have to say that I had the pleasure of working with Steve Mains at Railbookers and he was most excellent. He spent a great deal of time with me on two separate phone calls, looking for answers to my rather detailed questions and he gave me perfect information both times! I highly recommend asking for him specifically if you want great customer service!

Sammi turned a difficult situation from sour to sweet because of her desire and attitude to help. She did everthing possible to help.

I called to book trip for two clients. Heather very pleasantly and efficiently made the booking, even calling me back to get credit card info for one person. The next day I called again to correct one of the birth dates. This time Hilary made the birth date change quickly, which was a great relief to me as I wasn't sure if could be made. The only complaint is that I submitted info on the website to get a quote and never got a response.

Allison Foley is a really helpful and genuine agent. She went "the extra mile" to help my trip! Thanks, Allison.

This is our second experience making train vacation plans with Amtrak Vacations, both times the customer service was stellar.

We experienced a problem with our travel documents- we received train tickets for a trip in May when our scheduled trip was in March. Hilary was pleasant and friendly and we felt comfortable that she would find a resolution to our problem, which she did quickly and called us back to let us know. As a Travel Advisor I reached out to AV and got connected with Hilary Klein and she was great. She went over the multi-destination Itinerary and took final payment. I have spoken with her in the past and she is always so kind and she never comes off as not experienced in her position. She also seems to have a great personality that radiates through the phone. My guest had an issue on there train trip and Hilary made sure that the refund was processed quickly after my first call and the refund never came.

I called to find out if it was possible to get to and from our home in Indianapolis to Chicago (our departure and return site). Being an inexperienced traveler, I probably needed more assistance than most. I felt lucky to have my call answered by Hilary - she absolutely could not have been more helpful. The customer service representative who helped me was very helpful, sincere and expedient in helping me resolve my issue.

I reached out to the company to add train extension to a trip that I had previously booked. I spoke to Hilary, who gave me the lowdown on what options were available. After discussing our plans with my husband, I emailed Hilary with our decision. She called, and set up our extension including information about luggage and connections. Excellent experience. Easy and informative.

I spoke with Hilary Klein this morning about a problem with my scheduled trip to Florida. She cleared up and fixed an difficult problem I was having with this booking. If not for her immediate, valuable help, I would have lost the opportunity to change this trip as it would have been too late to do so. I am so grateful to her for her care and her help.
