Very poor experience with Annie’s Boutique
I mistakenly placed an order for approximately $250 for four items from Annie’s Boutique because I believed it was a company based in Boston, Massachusetts. After placing my order, I later learned that the company operates from China. I generally choose not to order clothing from overseas because I’m concerned about product quality.
It took several weeks for my order to arrive, and only two of the four items were delivered. The company maintains that all four items were received, but I never received the other two. The two items that did arrive were shipped in small plastic bags without any tags, and the quality was extremely poor. They looked nothing like the photos displayed on the website.
Since January, I have been trying to resolve this issue by trying to returning the items I received and obtaining a refund for both the returned items and the two items I never received. Unfortunately, the process has been frustrating and time-consuming. I eventually had to involve my bank to help dispute the charges.
In my experience, customer service has been very disappointing. My concerns were repeatedly ignored, and I was unable to get a satisfactory resolution. Had I known more about this company before placing my order, I would never have made the purchase.
