No communication and poor support
My retirement plan was set up incorrectly for the needs of my company. I tried for months to get someone to respond to me about making a change. No one would communicate with me, but they did send an invoice every month for a plan I can't fund or use.

Anger burned intensely in my chest. I met someone on Instagram who promised to teach me smart contract staking. The scammer even sent me 1.56 USDT with which I registered and deposited into this website, showed me how to trade, and I made some profit and even withdrew 4.11 USDT. The scammer then advised that I invest more so I can get greater rewards. So I took out my life savings for $329,557 and deposited it, followed all the instructions and was able to take my balance to $874,073. I was so excited, so I decided to withdraw $770,354, but was told the amount is too large, I would need to pay a 15% VIP upgrade ($115,553). I quickly took another loan and paid it since I was sure withdrawal was possible because I had withdrawn in the past. Then they demanded another 22% wallet verification fee, which was when it dawned on me that it was a con. I explained to my credit provider, and he referred me to a crypto asset recovery team (FiscopAdvisor LLC), who started tracing the movements of the USDT until it was sold on a decentralized mixer. The scammers' bank info was obtained, and he was caught, and the USDT reversed.

My main person couldn't care less... as I could hear the tooth-sucking and nasty attitude. Their mantra should be--Get it ya D_mn self! Never use this company.
The absolute worse customer service
The absolute worse customer service. Got 3 different answers from 3 different people. Last one insulted me by telling me I didn't know how to count! Really?
Terrible company

My account was a transfer from Vanguard. Some of the Ascensus employees I have talked to have been very helpful while others have not. The website is very hard to navigate and sometimes impossible to find answers. ( Try finding your monthly distribution.) I had to look up the support phone number using Google. Ascensus is the worst financial platform I have ever used. It looks like it was set up by someone who has no expereience in finance. I have complained to Vanguard about it....one of the most unprofessional decisions ever made by Vanguard financial was to transfer client assets to Ascensus.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have been trying to roll two 401k together, both on vanguard. Ascensus has denied the transfer every time for 3 weeks now. I am even working with a broker to sort it out, so it's not like there should be a ton of errors. 10 out of 10 do not recommend. Do your employees a favor and avoid this company.

Vanguard switched me over to Ascensus two years ag0. Finding information on the website has been difficult and financial transactions are done via mail. Basically, if you have to transfer money, it will not be done electronically but sending information via the USPS and may take up to two weeks. I never had any difficulty with Vanguard transactions and could get them done in two days at the most.
Ascensus is so hard to work with
Ascensus is so hard to work with. Just got off a 45 minute phone call with someone who knew nothing. She didn't know what the 529 Quickview was and said she worked for 529s... In the meantime I had to find what I was looking for, by myself. I wish she would have just transferred me to someone who knows what they're talking about.

Horrible customer service, poorly trained staff, disorganized processes. It took an hour and 20 minutes to make a contribution to my Simple IRA.

Ascensus will mislead you! Steer clear of them at all costs! They even lied to the BBB stating they had addressed my complaint when, in fact, it was 6 months later when they responded. The complaint was closed as “unresolved” and no resolution was ever offered. This is a horrible company to invest your funds with.

Vanguard switched my account to these garbage thief's. Took me 2 months plus to get my 650k back from them anyway they could stall and hold it they did. Get your money away from them as fast as you can. State federal and local authorities should shut these scammers down !!! Just the worst financial service company I have ever had to deal with. Paid extra for my funds to be sent 3 day! Says on my app and the phone that I should have received in May 30th!! After sitting in hold forever, the representative stated that their syst is changing and the entire day of checks that were to be sent 3 day, went out regular mail. No phone call or email to let clients know! Also it’s been 8 days! Regular mail should be here by now!!
And I got back my refund...
I made an investment of £45,000 with ascensus and didn't get a single penny back. I sent several email but got no reply until I reach out to the team written on my profile name
Avoid!!
If I can give negative I would. Bunch of crooks!! Do not sign or give them authorization for auto pay. Even when terminated they will process payment and refuse to issue a refund!!

Absolutely attrocious company that has absolutely attrocious customer service. Best of luck getting anyone to respond to emails and even when you can get someone on the phone, they almost never know what you want or what you're asking for or how to provide it to you. I'm so happy I closed my account with them.
